Wandered in here with a work friend during our lunch break. The menu is very large, and offers a lot of options, so it might take you a minute to decide. Great wraps, by the way. Food was pretty good, and I love the idea of a pasta bar. Line cooks and staff were mostly friendly, except for the lady at the register, who was unapologetically abrupt and catty when we didn’t know where things were located(it was our first time there). And when my friend left her extra receipt copy on the counter, she shoved it onto my tray and jabbed her head towards our table and said«give that to HER». We also lost time on our short lunch because the man in front of us in line insisted on trying 5 phone numbers to see if he had a rewards card. In short, the food was good, and most of the staff was nice, but the negative energy given off was enough to drive me away for good.

Thus is a neat place to eat at. You can either order from the menu or create your own dish. You can either create your own wrap or pasta. I created my own pasta which is very good. The staff is very friendly but their ac was down. Hopefully they fix it soon.

Unless you are a college student on a very limited budget and without much experience with good cuisine I would say go somewhere else. I went here in a couple of friends recently, none of us were very pleased with our entrées. Also one of us was treated somewhat poorly by the hostess regarding the price of the meal which was confusing. The sauce is imposter were fairly bland, and the breadsticks we couldn’t even eat them because they were soft and gooey almost.

Just as good as Olive Garden except cheaper, quicker, and more casual! Love it. Great place for lunch.

My friend and I were craving pasta last week while we were out and about, so we decided to try Twisted Kitchen for the first time. The menu wasn’t very well designed(lots of small text covering an entire menu) and it was hard to decide what we wanted because there was so much to look over. My friend pointed out that there were no descriptions for the pasta sauces, meaning that you’d have to go in blind if you didn’t want to ask. However, they did have plenty of options to choose from, so that is a good thing. They cook the food in front of you and everything smelled delicious. However, there was a significant wait because the person in front of us ordered a wrap, which apparently takes a few minutes to make. I wouldn’t have minded except that it meant our food got lukewarm because it was simpler and cooked faster than theirs. I ordered angel hair pasta with alfredo sauce, mushrooms, and tomatoes. When I went to eat the pasta, I noticed that it had a distinct smell. I thought about it for a while and realized it smelled like Campbell’s Chicken Noodle soup! Very strange and kind of off-putting. I think it was the noodles and something in the sauce. Anyways, in terms of taste, it was very average. There wasn’t anything remarkable enough to make this place stand out to me. I’d really only want to come back if I was nearby and didn’t feel like driving to Panera.

Twisted Kitchen is a great spot! I frequent here for a quick lunch option. They have great pasta and sauces. The menu has recommendations– but I always enjoy the creating my own dish each visit! You choose your pasta or salad, protein, veggies, sauces, and spices. Mike and Pedro are super nice and know how to run a customer centric business! Enjoy!

Food was really fresh and good. However the portion of toppings on the green salad were very small and not sufficient.

This is my favorite place for a quick but nice meal. So many options, its like subway for pasta. I love that they have so many veggies. They even have gluten free options, and the workers are usually pretty friendly!

Delicious pasta! We had catered lunch from here one day at work and the only problem with food this delish is the carb coma you inevitably slip into after downing mountains of noodly, creamy goodness! We had two cream-based pastas that I could have eaten mountains of, one a tomatoey sauce and one more of an Alfredo style sauce. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the chicken in it was still tender and delicious. I imagine if we had come here to eat, I would have been able to give five stars but alas, no pasta travels perfectly. Still, I would totally try again!

Whats better than great pasta right? The place is a great lunch spot but also much more… I enjoy mixing up pasta combinations. Always taste fresh and I love mixing in healthy ingredients. My office has also used their catering services and they do a great job as well. Even breakfast…

Love this place! Went for the first time today. I was a little concerned that the existing menu options would be super rich but bland in flavor. The cook is very close and visible while he makes your food. So I asked him to add something spicy to my dish. Apparently Sriracha sauce is the go-to spicy flavor, but they have other stuff. So my skillet-cooked lasagna with farfalle(bow tie pasta) and Sriracha sauce was out of this world. Tasted like a slow-cooked, highly flavored dish with creamy melted cheeses. Yummo! They have the nicest people working on the ordering and serving line. And you can’t beat the value with a stick! Where else can you get a very flavorful dish that’s enough for 2 meals at a $ 7.99 list price? Not a fan of the styrofoam containers. But I can see how this keeps the dishwashing cost to a minimum. Maybe somebody can design pretty styrofoam containers rather than the ubiquitous Darth Vader black version… Finally, I know why they call that signature cookie«The Greatest Cookie in the World.» I’m a grown-up, non-blue Cookie Monster. So trust me when I say that nobody’s exaggerating about this cookie. It has layers of flavors in your mouth with the coconut, chocolate, etc. And it’s not sickly sweet at all. Don’t miss this thing!

This is great — a place where you can get decent, semi-fast pasta. Much like the style-your-own burrito joints and about as good as, say, Panda Express(I like PE). Notice I wrote ‘pasta’, not ‘Italian food’. This isn’t Italian any more than Panda Express is Chinese and Chilito’s is Mexican. But who cares? It’s good.

Yep… This place is a must try. The entire staff is extremely friendly and they are great at making you feel welcome. Now the food is very tasty. Last year I tried Gluten free for a month. It was difficult. With this place I could have enjoyed every meal. I tried everything on the table and it was all delicious.

This place is really nice and set up almost like and Italian style chipotle. The atmosphere is very causal. Great set up for a small group of ppl. They cook your food right in front of you as you wait for it. They also give a nice amount of food so you are guaranteed to be full when you leave. There are so many options to choose from here and the combinations are endless on what you can create. The staff here were very friendly and clean. The restaurant in General was very well kept as well as the restrooms. Last but not least, they give military discount which is a plus for me.

I stumbled across Twisted Kitchen as I was searching on Unilocal for new spots with gluten-free options. A coworker is gluten-free, and I wanted to have an inclusive spot to try. I saw online that they offered low-carb and gluten-free pasta, called to follow up and the person on the phone confirmed. They do indeed have GF pasta. On the day of our lunch, we walked in and observed the setup. You order, either from the menu’s house concoctions, or you can«create your own» pasta dish. There were quite a few pastas to choose from: cavatappi, penne, farfalle, fusilli, etc. My selection was«Arti’s Choked Spinach,» unsurprisingly a spinach, artichoke and sun dried tomato mélange with white sauce, breadcrumbs and cajun seasoning. They heat the pre-cooked pasta with the ingredients and package them up in to-go boxes(whether or not you’re dining in). The breadsticks were KILLER. Each entrée comes with one, and we all raved about how good they were. It’s definitely a fast-casual restaurant, and one that my dining party really enjoyed. Fountain drinks and a tremendously fun fork dispenser(I kid you not) round out the experience. Prices were quite reasonable, and we were all pleased with our meals. I’ll definitely stop back by here for a happy, carby lunch.

This Kitchen is Twisted with yummy goodness! I love the set up, you can basically create your own pasta bowl… You let them know what you want, picking your pasta… w/low carb and gluten free options, meat and fresh veggie toppings, and they bring it all together right before you. My coworker and I stopped for lunch around noon last Friday. This was my second visit… Now, on my first visit I played it safe and ordered THEPARM, which was very good, I mean how can you go wrong with chicken Parmesan??? It was exactly what I expected, great tasting breaded chicken breast in marinara sauce and cheese on a bed of pasta of your choice, Bow-tie is my favorite!!! Pasta cooked just right(I do not like over cooked pasta) and everything was fresh. This time around, I decided to be creative and build my own bowl, with bow-tie pasta aka farfalle pasta, chicken breast, mozzarella cheese, marinara & alfredo sauce(Yes, I’m greedy and the cook suggested it, lol), red onions, tomatoes, roasted red peppers and bell peppers. It was really a great combination. My coworker also suggested I try a cookie… I can’t recall the name of the cookie, but I can almost describe it… it’s a chocolate chip cookie with coconuts, macadamia nuts and maybe pecans in it. My advise: GOGETONE. lol It was very hard returning to work with a tummy full of pasta, but I survived(lol). If you are not really looking for this place, it is easy to miss, its hidden at the corner of a small shopping center off Barrett Parkway next door to a Buffalo Wild Wings, Moes and a Planet Subs. If you’re in the area, check them out(even if you are far away, the cookie may be worth the drive. lol).

So, the concept of twisted kitchen is a spin on italian food by allowing you to decide what you want in your pasta. Now the plus side is your choices. Alot of varieties of pasta(non gluten etc.) to choose from and fairly priced. Good for kids as well I’m assuming However it lacks authenticity. Being from NJ, it lacks Italian appeal. From the Alfredo to the marinara, I can tell it comes delivered from a truck.(not how I want my sauce). The food was sub par, but all of the food I tasted is similar to a bulk package from Costco. Reminds me of a children’s ice cream buffet. Whoever rates this 4 or more stars needs to get their head examined, or is slightly over weight and just enjoys big portions. CIAO
