Oriental Nail Salon

I walked in on my lunch break for a gel mani. The woman who did my nails was a perfectionist! I got a nude color, and i have been other places who have done only coats before and it looks horrible, but she knew to do a third coat. I will definitely be back to see the same manicurist!

Oriental is very hit or miss! The prices are fair and the environment is clean. But sometimes the service is awful. I want to love this place so bad because I have been going here for years and I appreciate loyalty — but I’m now searching for other nail salons to dedicate my loyalty to.
I always get a gel manicure and pedicure. The pedicures are always great and last forever, but the quality of my gel manicures has been dwindling. The last 4 gel manicures have been terrible. It’s either my nails break after 3 – 4 days, the color isn’t even, or the length and shape of my nails is off (each nail looks different). Worst part is — last time I asked the woman to fix the shape of my nails she gave me attitude! She was huffing and puffing and it seemed like I was bothering her !?! I hate that!
Despite that, I think this place is worth a shot. If you get the right technician and the place isn’t busy, you will probably have a good experience. But I would not wait for a chair if they are busy because that’s when you get the worst treatment.

I made an appointment but still had to wait. I got a gel mani & pedi. She kept trying to talk me out of the color I chose and getting a gel pedicure. She asked me repeatedly if my number was the one on their caller ID.
The parts that really annoyed me was that a. She didn’t make sure that all of my fingernails were the same length which I noticed after she already applied the color. b. She didn’t apply the color evenly on 2 of my nails which I noticed right as I was paying. Despite the annoyances I still have her over a 20% tip. I asked her to fix the 2 nails and she seemed bothered. She didn’t apologize. For what they charge, and in general, think that you are paying to have perfect looking nails.
She spent about 2 hours with me but still did a crappy job. I wouldn’t return. The one thing saving this place is their pedicure chairs. The massage was amazing and they were very comfy.

I got a mani-​pedi for about $ 65. & that included a French for both & gel polish on my manicure. They looked good & were able to accommodate without an appt.
Only issue is that the polish wasn’t applied as thick & a couple nails broke within a week. Haven’t had that happen when I go to Chez Bella.
I’ll be back, as the pricing was much better & they have more staff to accommodate walk-​ins. I just need to ask for a 2^nd top coat.

I am going there again today. I get my nails done on a regular basis ever since I was introduced to this store. It has a five star rating from me because I find that each and every nail technician is knowledgeable. I have always had wonderful experiences there. I must say that when I worked my nails were always breaking. I wonder if the gel would have helped my nails then? I can only wonder. Right now, I love that my nails look great for a couple of weeks at a time. I am very pleased with this establisment and the quality of service.

Weekly go to nail salon! Only place I like to get my nails done! Reasonable prices and for walk ins there is little to no wait at all– usually just do walk in! Very friendly staff– My favorite is Sue! :)

I’ve been going to Oriental Nails for the past 5+ years for pedicures and acrylic nail fills. The Nail Techs are mostly the same as when I started, not a high turnover of technicians. I’ve been VERY pleased with their professionalism as well as the quality of my nails. They will do walk ins, however, if you have an appointment you are not kept waiting long. I’ve been to places that would do a walk-​in even if it meant they would be late for my appointment, not the case with Tree (not sure how to spell her name) at Oriental. The shop is always clean.

I’ll start off by saying that I went into this place asking for something that is probably not a look they do very often. I asked for a full set acrylic stiletto nails with the upside down heart on the tips ala Kelly Osbourne. I figured as long as I had a reference photo, they should be able to duplicate.
Not the case.
They weren’t awful but I will say I went somewhere else to reshape them and repaint them. Had I been asking for something simple, I’m sure they would’ve done a fine job.
The nail tech who worked on them seemed to be in quite a rush to get to some of the walk-​ins who had arrived whilst I was in his chair. Eventually I stopped saying «make them pointier» and resolved to just fix them later.
Pros: they are reasonably priced and there is little wait for walk-​ins (as the nail tech I had seemed to be in quite a hurry to get me out, and them in…“
Don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon.

I had to come back and update my review even though it has only been a few months. I have tried this place 3 more times since my last review and each time has been worst than the next.
I came in on a Saturday afternoon and they were fairly busy (meaning they have 7 manicure tables and about 6 pedi chairs and only 6 total chairs were being used!) The owner told me about a 15 minutes wait. after about 25 minutes he took me in a rush. He talked me out of a french manicure saying it wouldn’t look good on my nails and then rushed my nails and left me sitting under the gel uv dryer for almost 10 minutes so he could start another customer. I took my own hands up and then he finally jumped up and came over. He never put lotion or anything.
I am not going to go back here unless I am in a jam… terrible service

i have been going here for a while and everyone in here is
horrible about making appointments so i always just walk in. the wait is never too long. every time i get a fill my nails last for more than two weeks. you will not find a better job done or a cheaper price around.

First impression: Small and smells like chemicals.
Had a quick fix mani/​pedi a few months ago and it was OK, not too bad. I was probably done in about 40 minutes for both which i think is fast but the polish came out ok. The massage lasted for about a minute per leg so at least better than some places I’ve been to. The people who know me… knows I don’t play around when I get my spa stuff done. So I’m constantly going to different places and trying them out.
Their files, buffers and tools were questionable because it came out of a plastic box instead of a brand new package. Staff was nice but no very talkative which is fine to me sometimes. I’ll try this place again and give an update.

I actually liked this place. I like to veg out when I get my tips and toes done, i.e., not talk. This is place is great b/​c they will not talk to you and their work is really thorough. The price is right as well.
Win-​win in my book.

I am not a fancy person, and I can count on one hand how many pedicures I’ve had in my life. But this past month I was really, really wanting to treat myself. After asking around I had two different people recommend Oriental Nail Salon to me and I decided to try it.
I got a manicure and pedicure– only $ 35! That’s craziness! The pedicure was in a large comfy massage chair, and it took over an hour (awesome!) as I read magazines and watched TV. The manicure was, of course, quicker, but still luxurious.
The nail polish lasted 6 days for me (very long for my nail type) and the toe polish is at 10 days and still looks lovely. The salon was clean, my nail tech was kind and meticulous, and I was very pleased with the entire experience.
Overall this was a great experience and I definitely think that the service was worth more than I paid– but I’m so happy with the price that I’ll be back!
