I’ve been a Desert Sun customer for over 10 years. I will never set foot through the door of this location again because of Lainey the«Manager.» Terrible customer service and communication combined with misinformation. Now I am dealing directly with the Corporate office to refund my account. I will either be making a longer trip to another franchise location, or finding another company altogether. What a terrible representation of a company; especially as the Manager!

I liked the customer service I received here and the staff was very helpful and friendly! I came to this place after being ripped off by a tanning place next to k-mart. Wish I would have started here! Like to support local business but not when they outright steal from you! On the other hand desert sun has been up front and open. The have many hours that they are open making it easy to stop by! I would recommend this place!

My sister and I were having a bunch of problems with the Smokey Point location Desert Sun. I never was told about promotions or rewards I received for being a member. When I went to the 88th st location the girls were super informative and friendly! They actually took time to talk to you, and explain how the beds work, etc. When the Smokey Point location refused to comp my tans when their versa was broken, 88th had no problem helping me out. I really appreciate their customer great customer service.

The girls at this location are so friendly that my sister and I drive a little further just to go to their salon. They are very informative and give clear answers to all my questions. When I was trying out a different bed for the first time, Kally took me step by step on how to use it. My sister and I would agree that this Desert Sun location has the best customer service by far!

I went into the Marysville desert sun location. I signed up for a month because that was the cheapest deal & the girl said I needed to cancel my membership before the 25th of the following month. I went into the store to cancel & the girl said I didn’t have a membership so I didn’t need to cancel. I checked my bank statement & had been charged $ 60. When I went back to the store the girl said I didn’t have a membership. They were looking under one account for my married name & another account for my birthday. I called to talk to the manager & she said I needed to cancel before the 25th of the month which is what I had tried to do. I’m not going back to this location again because of horrible customer service & the manager was rude too. I hope I can get my $ 60 back that I was overcharged.

My sister and I love this salon. The girls are all really friendly and always take the time to chat with us while we’re in. Everything is clean and always set up perfectly for us. They were a huge help when we first started out telling us which level of spray or which bed would be best for us to maximize our tans and look great. I haven’t had any issues with them pushing products.

I was slightly surprised by the negative reviews on Google. The salon is clean and the staff have always been friendly. It’s true they’re constantly trying to sell things, but I understand the whole individual monthly quota thing. I’d say the few negative things would be the«activation fee» which is completely ridiculous(this was the only tanning place near me, so it was unavoidable) also, there is always 3 – 4 girls in there off-clock just talking so it’s intimidating to ask questions if you’re confused about something.

I haft to say that this tanning salon by haggen in marysville is great. The Staff aren’t pushy. They are friendly and go the extra step for you. They are nice to everyone, even people that i’ve seen give them attitude. I recommend this dessert salon location because I feel like they are always honest with me and make sure I am aware of what I will be paying for. I would DEFINITELY not recommend going to the smokey point one by costco. They are terrible. And they rung up a lotion I did not agree to buy. They really have me not going back there again. But this dessert salon location by haggen in marysville is great!

Went in for the first time. Was skeptical at first after reading the bad reviews but have to say that I was very impressed. Got on their monthly package for $ 49.95 a month for medium and conventional beds and have been seeing great color from medium beds. Have not tried their fancy bed yet but might next month. Worth checking out!

The employees lie to you to make sales. I signed up for the monthly unlimited membership and was told I can call and freeze it anytime. I called to freeze the account because I won’t have time to make it worth it the next few months. The girl told me I couldn’t freeze it over the phone I had to cone in and sign something. I then told her I was in Portland can you have your manager call me. The manager called a few days later to tell me they had just fired some of their people because a lot of people were bring mid informed. She said she would freeze the account. Check my bank account to find out she lied and now they won’t refund it they apparently have no way of doing refunds.

I was drawn into this establishment because I recieved a flyer in the mail for a month free for 18.88. When I walked into the salon, it looked clean and well maintained. The staff greeted me a few minutes after I had entered and I explained I had a coupon for 18.88 for a month. One of the staff said that offer was for their conventional beds and you get a free trial of a spray tan and a higher level bed. I thought it was a good deal so I said I would like to sign up. She started filling out my paper work and explained that I would need a bank routing number or a debit or credit card that the funds would automatically come out of every month. I felt a little uneasy about this because it seemed like I would be «locked into» paying for tanning every month. I questioned this and the staff said that I could cancel at anytime. So, I agreed. She then gave me the paper work and told me to inital some statements and sign the bottom. Instead of 18.88, the paperwork stated I was paying 38.88 for the month of tanning. I asked what the extra 20 was for and she said«oh, thats for the activation fee.» Thanks for bringing that up before writing out all the paperwork. So I decided to take the deal anyways. 38.88 was debited from my account. I was frequently asked if I wanted upgrades which were then debited an extra charge on my account. Many of my friends stated that some of the staff were really rude while one or two girls seemed to be helpful and nice. I don’t recommend going here. And the automatic payments to ones account are quite scary if youre the type of person without dispensible money.
