We waited until they were open a few weeks before we gave it a shot. We have gone in a couple times and order off the happy hour. Our favorite is the chicken flatbread, although we would like more veggies on it. The street tacos were pretty good. Grilled cheese basil wasn’t nothing too fancy a little to greasy for my liking. The mac and cheese was pretty good. And last time we went in we tried the cheesecake for the hubby’s birthday. The lemonade drop in an ice cup, is pretty good. We loved the lemonade, pretty big cups so we didn’t need any refills. The staff has always been excellent. I can’t remember her name but the red head with the southern accent, was the sweetest server we have had in awhile. She talked to us and didn’t seemed rushed to get away even though we came in close to closing time. I heard the burgers aren’t anything special, so we will probably stick to happy hour items, they seem the best.

Food is ok. Over priced. But I accept that since it’s so close to home. But what is unacceptable is seeing my food sit in the window for 7 minutes while I watched no less than 8 employees walk right by and not even look at it

Stopped in for a late lunch with the BF. Our server seemed awkward when asking us if we’d ever been there before and explaining the menu to us. Maybe the eye contact we shared was making her nervous, perhaps I should have been staring at my phone? Anyway, the food… well, we only tried two things off the happy hour menu, and honestly, I didn’t really care for either item. We had the fish tacos(smelled too«fishy» but tasted OK) and the Mediterranean flat bread which was average. Nothing special. I’m glad we only paid happy hour price. I would maybe give it another shot, and order from the regular menu next time… All in all 2.5 stars.

We just moved here and love food, drinks, socializing etc. We came here with our kids. Greeted and sat immediately. There was quite a few people in the restaurant. It was around 7:30, which is late for us eating dinner. Our server took our drink order and it took quite a while for him to come back. But only to take our order, not to deliver drinks. I got a full chicken salad(can’t remember the name). Drinks came after the order was put in. Salad was amazing! We all liked our food and drinks :) I guess they just opened recently? Took a while to get our check, I think he went on a «smoke break»(he smelled of smoke when he came to our table). Big no no. At least do a squirt of cologne and pop a mint.

The food here is awesome ! Every burger that I’ve tried here is awesome ! Seriously one of the best burgers I have had in a long time !! The only downside about this restaurant is the prices I feel like they are a little overpriced.

The most expensive happy hour I’ve been too. Food isn’t that great. BBQ pork flat bread was over cooked and street tacos had about 4 pieces of meat on them.

First impression was likely tainted by our average experience. I had the Santa Fe Grill with fries and a Long Island Tea. My spouse had the deluxe burger with tots and a Margarita. My sandwich, served on Texas toast, was burnt on one side yet undercooked on the other. Overall it lacked flavor with poor tomato and avacoda quality, making it not worth the 9.95. The fries were fine. His burger was undercooked. The drinks were average, probably typical alcohol content. I was not fond of the long Island as it had a bitter taste in comparison to others I’ve had. The ice water had a chemical or metallic taste; perhaps the newer equipment leached into the ice? Although I wouldn’t say avoid, I wouldn’t recommend it. For a burger I suggest Red Robin or Blazing Onion.

I have been wondering about this place for a couple of weeks so I decided to stop for a beer and sample some food. First, the short male greeter was very enthusiastic, bordering on annoying. My server, Kendra was on her third day of training behind the bar and did an awesome job, she was a great hire! My beer(Irish Death) was good as usual, my food, we’ll that’s why I only gave it four stars. I ordered the spicy chicken toasted cheese sandwich«add onions», well they forgot the onions and it appeared to have been cooked and sitting for awhile before it came to me. Aside from the hard plastic looking cheese it was tasty. While sitting at the bar I observed ALL the servers using tongs to put the various garnishes in drinks, on glasses and anywhere else they put the stuff, for a germaphobe extreme that was a pleasant sight! I will come back for possible food redemption, and attentive service at the bar. Oh and the selection of foods is great also. Happy dining all!!!

I had the flat iron steak and it was outstanding, the menu is great and I plan on trying their breakfast! I think I am a little bit aggressive about the way food tastes and it presentation and Hop Jacks in Arlington will not disappoint. In short I think I found a new hag out!!! PS the service was great

Waited to do a second visit before doing my review because I had to believe it would be better than average but it stayed right on course for average the 2nd time as well. Most disappointing was the order of wings, which turned out to be 5 wing sections total, and extremely fatty, too. Service is forced, not comforting. Highlights is they made a tremendous hamburger and a delicious flatbread, and both are presented very well. Cocktails are mixed well, too.

We were excited to go here, as we used to frequent the Hop Jack’s in Silverdale. The bbq chicken quesadilla we ordered during happy hour was amazing! The blue cheese nachos were good as well. Unfortunately, Hop Jack’s has started brewing it’s own beer, which definitely cut down on the unique selection of micro brews they used to carry. Additionally, service was not great. The server who initially took our order seemed very knowledgeable about their beer selection, so we were disappointed when another server took our order. She was quick to offer a drink for my husband, but she asked me if I wanted water or a coke. Hello, I’d had one beer and it was date night! I wanted another, without the assumptions included, thanks. I ordered a vodka soda, which was very watered down(maybe because she assumed I was drunk off of one beer?). She was pretty quick to assume we were done by asking us if we wanted dessert when we weren’t even done with our drinks. No donuts, thanks. What a weird offer. I hope next time we go I am able to write a more favorable review.

I found the service to be very good and the servers very polite and friendly. This is about my 4th time here and am never dissapointed. My favorite is the mushroom burger.

Mushroom burger was good, but was disappointed with the appetizer we ordered. $ 8.95 for onion rings.. .. And there were literally 8 onion rings in the basket they delivered. It looked half empty. We asked if that was a full order, and the server simply answered«yes», wasn’t interested in why we asked, or if there was a problem. Several minor issues, seemed clear the staff is just going through the motions. Never got the vibe that they were concerned with our experience. Won’t be my first choice next time.

I was excited to visit this new restaurant/gastro pub… whatever u wanna call it. Wow… it took three days to recover. Ummm Service…HORRIBLE Drinks…expensive and just mediocre. Food…o.m.g!!! Gag a maggot! Greasy, poor recipes, poor selection of menu items etc… nothing remotely healthy or good. $ 48 precious dollars later and sick for 2 days. How disappointing. I can’t afford that crap. So sad… that corner needs a real restaurant. I’d give no stars but they won’t let me.

My wife and I went in for dinner the other night and were very pleased. I had probably the best French dip I’ve ever had. The place is new. Very friendly staff very attentive to our needs. They say the coldest beer around. They have their own brew. We will be back.

If you really like salt, this is your place. If you really enjoy mediocre service, this is your place. If you don’t enjoy either of these things, you can do better. Our family stopped here for lunch today and the place was pretty empty so we were seated immediately. My daughter ordered the Mac n’ cheese, I had the soup and salad, and my husband had an onion burger. My daughter’s Mac n cheese was pretty bland and not impressive. It was also pretty expensive for the amount of food you actually get. My onion soup and Caesar was pretty good, but Blazing Onion is much better. Here’s where the problem comes in, my husband’s fries tasted like a salt lick and his burger was burnt on the outside and mushy on the inside. The waitress left our drinks empty, and she was generally nonexistent(especially considering how dead the place was). When we went to leave the two managers were standing at the door and asked how everything was. My husband told them it wasn’t good and they just looked at us as if they hadn’t heard us and let us leave. Needless to say, we won’t be back. $ 50 for mediocrity isn’t something we’d like to repeat.

I was anticipating good things from this place sense their Lynnwood location is doing well but that was a HUGE mistake. Note!!! this place has only been open 2 weeks so hopefully it will get better.(I DO plan on trying it again later after a few months or working out the kinks) But, I would have expected with other locations that a lot of kinks would have been worked out already. When we got there the hostess, who was also our waiter, tried immediately to pawn us off on the bar. Which kind of made sense for how late it was but we declined for regular seating. The gluten free menu is just burgers that have been put into lettuce wraps and salads, some chicken wings, fish, and tacos. I feel like this was just half-assing it though. At least get gluten-free burger buns. Of the 4 people that ordered only 1 person got their order correct on the first try. Person 1: wings and a taco came out as expected.perfect. not great food but the order was correct. Person 2: Wanted a GF Asian salad with cashews and an Asian dressing(sounded good) but they apparently discontinued that item and it wasn’t on the regular menu. Tried to order a cajun avocado salad with no cajun, no cheese, and no butter on the pita. Got buttered pita, no cheese, and cajun on the chicken. Asked them to fix it and got new pita with no butter on it and the cajun scraped off of the chicken. not remade. scraped off. it still tasted like cajun. i truly just wanted plain chicken but i just kinda let it go at this point. Person 3: wanted regular nachos. got… not regular nachos. Got some kind of potato chip nacho and all the toppings that she didnt want. Got it right the second time though. Person 4: ordered first and was told after ordering that they were out of mac and cheese of any kind. sad. so he ordered a burger. Person 2’s salad came back twice before the burger was even ordered by the server. it came out perfect when we finally got it though. All that being said. The manager was working with our table to try and figure out what whet wrong and what was being done. He checked up on our food a lot to see where it was after things were sent back. He ended up comping all 4 meals and a cocktail that we had ordered. The manager clearly cares and is taking note of whats going on. I would give them another try but not until they work things out. Id sooner try them in Lynnwood before Smoky Point again at least for a few months. On a personal note I dislike that NOONE was wearing a name tag. For a restaurant I come to expect to know who my server is to not get again or thank the manager by name for his effort. NOW for the food. Why is there corn on nachos? and in the salad? Who puts corn in a salad or nachos? Not trying those items again. corn is weird on nachos. Chicken wings were to sweet. the burger was the only thing that came out really tasting good.

We visited Hop Jack’s for lunch the day after it opened, so when I might downgrade a more established restaurant, was easily excusable: the smell of fresh paint and the wait staff, while very friendly and welcoming, were not as relaxed and effortless in their jobs as they will be in a few months when they’ve been doing them a little longer. The food itself showed none of these very minor issues. It came quickly and was delicious. I had the Tomato Basil Grilled Cheese with Hop Jack’s Potato Chips. The sandwich consisted of toasted bread surrounding tender tomato slices, fresh basil, and mozzarella with a wonderfully sweet, mildly tart balsalmic vinegar. It was essentially a bruschetta sandwich. I liked that the bread was not too heavy for the delicacy of the tomatoes. It was nicely balanced and full of flavor, without being heavy. The chips were everything I might expect in fresh homemade chips — crispy outside, with slightly soft inside. They were a nice option where most restaurants only offer fries. We will be back. Many times, I suspect.
