This is a great place in town for dine in, pick up or delivery. The food is always delicious and fresh. Sometimes the food takes a while to be prepared, but it’s worth the wait. My family eats here frequently and we have never been disappointed. Try the Ragin Cajun or Meatball Panini’s. Delicious!

I love the food! Service sucks. If you call & order out, it’s at least 30 minutes. If you dine in, it’s longer no matter how empty or full they are. I’d LOVE to see this place be what it once was. They even miss up easy orders.

New Years Eve and I was with 10 families at the Marriott! Nobody answered the phone because of course it was New Years Eve! Roasted Peppers answered and said they were closing in a few minutes. The owner Hercules took the call and said I can help and will make whatever you need. We ordered 15 pizzas and sure enough they made them! After he was closed he made pizza and it was Delicious… This place is FABULOUS!

I used to have the best service when I used to order from them the food was fresh hot and delicious. I have been working at the same office for 2 years at this point and have ordered from them multiple times. Within the last 6 months the food has changed and the service has been terrible. The only saving grace is Ingrid. She is amazing at her job and at customer service. Today I ordered food and it hadn’t come after an hour and the person I spoke with didn’t even tell me his name but rather told me it was my fault for not calling after 20 minutes, although after ordering online it told me to expect my food in 30 – 40 minutes. So I’m sorry that is not MYFAULT. They had my phone number and could’ve called to let me know my order was delayed. I asked him for either a discount and told him that I should receive my food for free. He said no he wouldn’t do that and that the only thing he could give me was my drink for free. Thanks for the 2 bucks but you can keep it, I WON’T BECOMINGBACK. Good Luck surviving as a new owner after taken over a well established business.

Excellent food, but after the service we just received, we will not likely be going back any time soon. My wife and I have ordered panini from Roasted Pepper several times over the last year, and we’ve really enjoyed them. Today, however, we ordered our sandwiches earlier in the day than usual.(That fact becomes important later.) We ordered at 12:28pm and were told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived a few minutes shy of 20 minutes, and totally accepted the fact that I was early, so I had to wait. No big deal. But I continued to wait for another 10 minutes, another 20 minutes, and finally – 30 minutes after it was supposed to be ready – it came out without a single word of apology. Not even, «Sorry for the wait.» Nothing. And there were mysteriously no fries. Every single other time we called up and said the words«I’d like to order a chicken panini.» We got a chicken panini with a side of fries. So why not this time? So if you order a chicken panini from Roasted Pepper, you get something different depending the time of day you order. A lunch panini is a little cheaper and has no fries, a dinner panini is a little more expensive and comes with fries. If you are going to have two items with the same name, I think it’s the responsibility of the person taking the order to make sure the customer confirms they’ve ordered the right one.(As opposed to arbitrarily saying«no fries» because it’s technically lunch time.) At this point I was so frustrated by having to wait 50 minutes for something I was told would take 20 – with no apology whatsoever – I paid for my food, grumbled, and went home. Then I opened up my sandwich, and I it was then that I officially decided we were never going back to Roasted Pepper.(See photo attached to this review.) The whole point of a panini is that it is toasted, right? And considering they had nearly an hour to prepare it, the sandwich should have been nicely toasted at least. Nope. It was completely wet, soggy, and falling apart. This place has some great food, but there are too many other great places to eat in Maynard for me to spend anymore of my money at this establishment. Sorry, Roasted Pepper, but you’ve made your way into my «never again» list. Wishing we had ordered from Willy’s Phillys a few doors down instead…

I ordered the Pesto chicken café sandwich, fries and the frozen cappuccino. All but the pesto chicken café was good. Not sure if its missing a sauce other than pesto but, it wasn’t good at all. To top it off, the delivery man inform me drivers can only drive within 4MLS in which, is why he didn’t initially take the back road leading to the rear of my job Adesa Auction, as noted in my order. So two stars for the good fries and cappuccino. I wish I didn’t leave the 15% tip. It wasn’t worth it.

Highly recommend Roasted Peppers. Very good customer service and great food. If you are unsure of what to try, go for the Meatball Panini and I can assure you that you will not be disappointed!

Great little local place. I have always got takeout and had the smokehouse sandwich. Which is really good just a little expensive for getting it with nothing on the side like chips unless u pay for them. Besides that the food is really good. Staff is always friendly and greets you with a smile.

This is a very nice little sit down pizza(and more) resturant in downtown Maynard that seems overlooked by most. There are a lot of pizza places in town and the surrounding towns as well, but this place has a very nice sit down area that is much better than others in the area. And after eating here, I feel as though I need to go back and check my other reviews so that the next statement isn’t competing with any former favorites. The white pizza here is the best white pizza I’ve ever had. Very thin bread, with a ton of gooey yummy cheese baked to perfection. Most places mess up white pizza by burning the cheese, essentially rendering crunchy cheesey-ish bread. Not here. The menu said«gourmet» and I can confirm. The person I went with got a regular cheese pizza, and said it was alright. He liked it, but it wasn’t the best cheese pizza in town like my white pizza was. He said it was pretty average. There were very few other people in the resturant, including a few take out orders, which makes me think with the plethora of other pizza joints in town, that’s probably why. If you’re looking for a nice sit down expierence for your pizza, I’d say this is a very good option. The menu said they had fruit smoothies and even iced mocha lattes, but I was too full to try them. I’ll have to return sometime. One last note I’d like to meantion is their kids menu has PB&J for cheap and that makes my inner child smile.

Came in for a quick lunch. Ordered the grilled chicken house salad. I bet in ~5 minutes it was served with steaming chicken on top. My wife said the seasoning on the chicken was good. I agree. The roasted peppers were nice, upholding the business name, and the salad crisp. Got what I came for.

«Never argue with the customer» is no where in their skill set. Worst customer service when they gave me the wrong order. Despite their good food never going back.

I’ve eaten here(or done take-out) many, many times. I typically get the buffalo chicken wrap. In my experience, the sandwiches are quite good. I think the Boar’s Head meat is a big factor. If I’m eating in, I bring a book, because of the long wait. I agree with the high rating of the pizza. However, note that the pizza is available only during dinner hours. There’s no place in Maynard where I would get pizza at lunch time. The closest good lunch-time pizza is Sorrentos on rt 27 in Acton.(The closest 1st rate pizza is in Chicago. You can tell where I grew up.)

I can’t believe all the mediocre/bad reviews for this place! By FAR, this is the best pizza in Maynard. The atmosphere is family friendly, open layout(you can see the brick oven!) with plenty of two-top tables in addition to the larger tables for groups. It’s always clean and bright with great seating by the window. The waitstaff are nice, albeit, average — now that they serve beer and wine(thank you!), they’ll proudly suggest a craft/small brew beer, but aren’t too helpful if you ask for a suggestion. I judge a pizza by its sauce and crust. Roasted Peppers’ classic cheese pizza really lets the sauce shine through. The crust is chewy with just the right balance of sweet and yeastiness, made from scratch, and there is a great selection of toppings. Most importantly, it is consistent *every* time. That goes a long way! Our favorites are the veggie, melanzana, aloha and the classic margherita. The pasta here is also quite good. My boyfriend is a sucker for the mascarpone ravioli. The fried ravioli and eggplant milano are highlights on the appetizer section(although definitely not light in calories!). We usually go for dinner, and my only complaint is that they’re only open until 9PM. When we first moved to Maynard in the fall of 2012, the owner/chef was out on the floor more frequently — he’s a great guy with a passion for good food. I haven’t seen him as much recently, which is a shame, but he’s probably busy creating magic in the kitchen!

Roasted Pepper is a small sandwich and pizza shop in downtown Maynard. It’s a walkup order counter and they have a decently sized menu of sandwiches and other italian fare. Don’t make a special trip to visit this place. My wife ordered a turkey sandwich, and the bread was dry and barely held together. My kid had the peanut butter sandwich that was ok, but not great. In their defense, you can’t do much with a peanut butter sandwich. I ordered a calzone. The big problem was that it took about 30 minutes for them to make it. My wife and kid had finished eating and were ready to go at that point. I had to take it to-go to avoid the inevitable toddler meltdown. The calzone was fair, made fresh from frozen ingredients, and about was about the size of a football. If it had been done a bit quicker that would have helped. There was some aluminum foil on the underside of it.

Great place for an antipasto salad! Nothing beats fresh boar’s head meats and their house dressing(oil and vinegar type deal). They have really good pizzas too, definitely one of the best places in town.

I wasn’t sure what to expect from this place. We stopped in for breakfast this past weekend — I ordered the«Hungry Tiger», and my girlfriend ordered a bagel w/cream cheese. The price was fair and my breakfast was really good. The home fries were great as were the french toast. The bacon was pretty dry, but the rest was fine. Friendly staff, good food. I like this spot and look forward to trying them again for lunch.
