I recently found out about this salon and so far I am very pleased with them! They do a great job on dip nails. Recommend

I came to this place a couple of months ago and my experience with this place did not match these raving reviews at all…
I felt like I was being tortured for government secrets rather than getting a pedicure.
Going into this pedicure my toes were fine, they don’t need a lot of attention during pedicures. The reason I even get pedicures at all is for my heels and the polish. But the lady I had at this place must have felt that I had buried treasure hidden inside the flesh around my toenails because I’ve never had anyone dig so much into my toes before.
I was grimacing through the majority of my pedicure and my toes hurt and were raw after the pedicure.
I also have never seen polish chip and flake off of toenails after a couple days… typically polish on toenails can last until the end of time, or at the very least 72 hours… But this polish was so cheap and/​or watered down it was flaking off by day 2.
Needless to say, I won’t be coming back and have since found a different wonderful nail salon on the other end of Lake Forest.

I have been getting my nails done & regular pedicures for over 4 years since being referred by a coworker. Absolutely the best manicurist in Lily that I had in over 30 years wearing acrylics… and Joann’s massages that accompany the perfect pedicure… will melt you in the massage chair! Wonderful, Kind, Funny ladies — the entire staff. Prices are very competitive & you’ll soon have new friends from their great clientele! Spoil Yourself…

Love the pedicure, I’ve lived a few places in the country and Susan was by far the best and was able to remove al my nasty calluses!!!

I’m from out of town and every time I come visit my family I have to visit this place. There service is great and the quality of my nails are amazing. I would definitely recommend this place if you want a relaxing environment and great service.

Love this place! Employees are very nice and they do a great job (acrylic, pedis and gel powder). They are busy on weekends so make an appointment instead of walking in.

I am VERY picky when it comes to my nails. Great service. I didn’t have to wait long at all. Most importantly, I LOVE my nails. Hannah also have my a quick nail consultation. I wanted to get something more expensive, but she talked me out of a higher price! I came in with an AWFUL set and walked out with PERFECTION. I got the powder gel color on my natural nails and never been happier.

This place has really good reviews on here, so I decided to try it out since my normal nail lady at another salon was out of town for 6 weeks. I walked in and they were really friendly. I had Helen as my nail person and she was nice, but my nails peeled and my real nails were ruined underneath. This salon might be good got a regular manicure or pedicure but I hated my nails after just a few days.

The lady’s at the shop were very curtious and friendly. I got a full set done. Lily did a very good job. The store is rather plain compared to some salons that I’ve been to, and the prices are about average. I gave this salon five stars because I liked the personal interaction and attention that was given to each customer.

Nice establishment however there is a man there who I seem to always get when I go there who is totally rude and makes me feel uncomfortable. After visiting 3 times I won’t go back.

They did a great job doing a French tip on my toes. It’s been three weeks and the paint job has remained in perfect condition. And they spent a nice amount of massaging feet and legs :)

Found on Unilocal after reading the reviews & it has never disappointed. I always get the $ 50 pedicure that includes a hot stone massage amongst other things. It’s like heaven!

From Chicago, here visiting family, turned to Unilocal for suggestions for my no chip and pedicure. Love their service! There was one person working on my feet, one person working on my left hand, and one person working on my right hand. It was absolutely awesome!!! I highly recommend the shop.

I love coming here. They are so nice to my sons. If I want to get a pedi I have to bring my sons with me. They sit at the front and play on their iPads, but they are in the nail salon while people are trying to relax, so I always feel bad. The women that own the salon are alway so nice to my sons. The deluxe pedi is always so relaxing and feels so refreshing after a long day at work. I do not have one bad thing to say about them.

Looked to fellow Unilocalers in the area and was not disappointed! A new usual place for me!
Lily was happy and enthusiastic for being 20 minutes before the posted open time. She was super helpful and easy to get along with/​talk to/​understand.
The prices (for waxing, anyway) were lower than most other places and the environment was nice and clean yet still inviting. You get to go back into a private room and lay down for the wax, unlike some places that make you sit in a chair where everyone can watch. Embarassing!
I will be back for sure!

I came here with my mother in law, sister in law, her daughter, and my 7 yr old daughter. My mother in law called ahead to see if they would be able to reserve a time for all 4 of us to get a pedi done at the same time. She was told yes. When we got there, we had to wait a bit, then I went, then my daughter, and then the other 3 got started.
I found the ladies, except 1, to be rude. They didn’t smile, they didn’t look happy, and one lady even commented to a customer (who seemed to be a regular) how annoyed she was that she has to redo the nails every time the lady comes in. The way the nail tech went on about it and her tone of voice sure didn’t seem like a joke to me and the customer wasn’t laughing, either. They also talked to each other in their language the entire time. When they look at you and then start talking or make their looks to each other after looking at you and start talking, sure doesn’t make a customer feel comfortable.
I was not offered any drinks, but I did see a different nail tech (the sole one that wasn’t rude) offer beverages to someone.
I found the nail service to be just ok. The lady didn’t get all rough edges of my feet completely gone.
I go to Nail Expo and love it there, but came here b/​c my mother in law picked this place to try (when she was visiting), as Nail Expo couldn’t get us all in. After my experience there (even my inlaws agreed the women were rude), I will continue to go where I’ve been going and avoid this place.

AWESOME nail salon with really fun employees who do a great job on your nails. I absolutely love their spa chairs and I loved my manicure when I was done.
I always appreciate it when I get to actually see them using sanitized equipment because it makes me feel better, and I love how long my nails stayed looking like I just came from there.
I’ll definitely be back since they’re just down the street!
