Dunkin’ Donuts

Terrible service from teenagers and people who do not care at all about customer service! Coffee is pretty much the same as all the other branches, inconsistent !

Been here twice, both times only got 5 hash browns instead of the regular 6.
Otherwise, the coffee comes pretty quick. If you have a specific coffee order, make sure you repeat it so it comes correctly.

I have not been to your establishment on Salem (DD) in a month, due to the last experience. Today I really wanted a donut so I thought I would try again. My mistake. The last four trips have looked like this
1) Request: Big and Toasty, Boston Cream D, Chocolate milk: Received Grilled Cheese, Boston Cream, Chocolate Milk
2) Request: Big and Toasty, Boston Cream D, Strawberry milk: Received Big and Big and Toasty (Waited 15 min before I realized they forgot to make it and then it was somewhat cold), Boston Cream, Strawberry Milk (15 days overdue and completely curdled)
3) Requested: Boston Cream D, Strawberry Milk, Received: Boston Cream Strawberry Milk (first 5 I pulled where 7 days over due or more before I told the manager)
4) Requested: Boston Cream D, Strawberry Milk, Received: Boston Cream Strawberry Milk (first 10 I pulled where 1 – 10 days over due before I told the manager)
In all instances I barely got a sorry or some inkling that they will work to fix the issue. Twice the blame was on the delivery guy. The responsibility of the restaurant is on the owner and the managers, not the workers, not the vendors. Once it is someone else’s issues. 4 times (in a row) is poor leadership and a lack of responsibility.
I used to regularly bring my daughter (14 months old now) to your establishment. It scares me to think that the lack of quality of your products could have made her extremely sick as she would not have known better.

I come here every day still because it’s dunks and convenient. And I like a few of the workers. But the other 90 percent of the workers are incompetent and make me so angry. Never get the other right, or maybe 5 percent they get it right. Stevens the man and that’s about it. Get your act together dunks on Salem st.

Not all Dunks are the same. Regardless of how hard the company tries to make them look as uniform as possible. With recents upgrades done to pretty much all of them in the last year or so you can still see a little bit of character in some of the bigger places. This is definitely one of them. With a seating area/​lounge on the left they are definitely trying to give it that coffee house appeal. Well appointed with fireplace and television I could see myself comfortably telecommuting the day away.
That being said let’s focus on the nuts and bolts of why we really come to DD’s. COFFEE! Mine is an easy order. Cream no sugar hot or Cream one Splenda iced. Never had a problem and I never will. Why do you ask? Because I’ve worked in customer service all of my life in some way or another and I know how to order and wait patiently for my legal stimulant. I also know how to smile and make casual small talk with these people that service us every bleary eyed morning. I see a lot of reviews about how certain individuals who are employed at this particular location are shall we say «not so pleasant.» I have NEVER had a bad experience here and I am somewhat confused on how others do. I guess I will consider myself lucky to have been raised with manners regarding treating people with respect and understanding that everyone is entitled to have a bad day every once in awhile. Thanks Mom! To those that find it easy to write scathing online reviews of businesses without consequence here is my question to you. What if that person/​business had the ability to write a review on you as a customer without consequence? What would it say? Food/​Coffee for thought…

I guess one could become Elite JUST reviewing Dunkies around the city but that would be super lame, right? I already feel that way reviewing them but this is the closest to my apt so I figured it’s my «home base».
The makeover that was done over the winter, A+! I love the sitting area with a TV and fireplace, although I’ve never personally used it because I can just walk home… I long for a day they tell me I can work from home and stumble into Dunks around 10 AM while utilizing their free wi-​fi all day long. One can dream.
I’m not a fan of crowds so I TRY and stay from here between 7 — 9 AM, I’ve seen lines of close to 15 customers. They aren’t exactly slow with order taking but this seems to be a popular spot prior to the worker drones hopping on I-​93. Usually a friendly staff and I’ve never had any language barriers or money issues here.
Because of the lobby, it’s likely in the top 10% in terms of the nicest Dunks I’ve been in so just for that I’m bumping them up to 4 stars. The coffee is uniform and standard, the food is well you know, Dunkins food. Stay for the free internet and cheaper than Starbucks joe.

Depending on who’s working this dunkin donuts can be either the best or the worst. If you if you happen to get Connie run away as fast as you can she is very rude and just plain miserable but if you happen to get Julie you are in the hands of one of the best!

I used to be a believer. I thought great coffee, great price, off to work.
Not anymore.
What happened? Did they change everything about the coffee?
It’s terrible!
I now spend the extra bucks to get my brew elsewhere, and I bought a Kerig coffee maker to use at home.

Even when it isn’t exactly on my way, I come to this DD for my coffee. I take mine with extra cream and one sugar, and they always make it well. Every employee there seems to pay attention to the order and get it right. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten an «extra sugar one cream» at other locations. If you’re particular about your coffee you’ll feel my pain when I have to sip a too-​sweet cup (and inevitably I don’t realize this until I am well on my way and can’t turn back). But I assure you than in the 5 years I’ve been going to this location, I haven’t been disappointed.
