Ahahaha. Took me a while to check in(nobody at the front desk) but once I did, I was overcome by the strange burnt plastic smell that permeates the entire building. When I noticed the toilet didn’t flush and went back to the front desk to ask for a different room, I couldn’t. Once again, nobody at the front desk. Overall, this place is creepy. It’s in a creepy neighborhood with nobody around. Not even employees. :(( Ps. Sorry to the maid who saw what I left behind. I hope you get revenge on that ghost of a desk clerk!

I strongly recommend against this place. When I arrived, my bed was literally broken and halfway on the floor, it took them a couple of days to fix. I took the comforter off because I didn’t want to use it, and they said they would store it downstairs. Then they told me at check out that they had to charge me for a missing comforter. Fortunately I got to the bottom of that and they didn’t charge me. Pros: Tucked away off the main road(poplar) a block back, right behind Chick fil a and walgreens, just a minute from the interstate, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. Great location Cons: «free» wifi is slower than dial-up(it tested at about 128kb/s), and they try to charge you for«high speed» although it’s not much faster; parking lot is tiny with limited spots, room service constantly reminds you to tip but rarely shows up, front desk couldn’t care less about you, «breakfast station» is a couple of dry goods that are out of stock by 7am. There is nowhere to exercise. The place smells like smoke regularly, because people staying there smoke even though they’re not supposed to. Room service is not friendly at all. Fire alarms go off a lot because people who don’t know how to cook are burning something. They do NOTTAKE debit cards, and won’t ring your debit card as a credit card! Summary: This is a nice location and relatively safe area, but if you can stay anywhere else, I recommend it.

My boyfriend had business in Memphis for a few days and he booked this hotel due to its cheap, reasonable price in a nice part of town. We stayed on the third floor and our studio suite had a queen sized bed. There was a small kitchen that included a fridge, microwave, and a stove, but you needed to request for the kitchen supplies and dishes at the front desk. Bathroom had four bath towels, two hand towels, two face towels, and a towel for the floor, but did not include any complementary shampoo/conditioner. The soap bars smelled nice though. We stayed from Sunday evening until Wednesday morning for ~ $ 65 per night, which was a good deal. Our room and bathroom were clean and it did not smell funny. The temperature was below 50’s on the days we stayed and the heater worked fine. My only complaints would be that the pillows were terrible for me. I like firm pillows and these pillows were too soft. The television had limited channels and no television guide… no food channel to watch. And also, no hair dryer. Other than these minor qualms, I enjoyed my stay here and if we were in Memphis again, we would stay here again.

Horrible. Filthy. Bad service. Rude people. Puke on the front porch. They just flipped the rug over.

We booked this room due to the decent location, price & the photos shown appeared to be nice. The photos shown are NOT the rooms they have. The rooms where disgusting! Dirty walls, dirty carpet, very old appliances, no toiletries in the bathroom & we had to go request clean towels(they don not bring to you). Aside from that it reeked of cigaret smoke upon walking up to check in. The third floor(we had two rooms) reeked of weed the entire time there. I WOULDNOTRECOMMEND !!
