Hands down the best roast beef sandwich in the midsouth. New Orleans French bread is used. Hard crusted soft like cotton candy middle. Fully dressed. No one comes close.

Even though I grew up in Memphis, I’ve never been to Finos until after college. The first I heard of Finos Memphis is from chatting with some dude at an Italian deli/grocery in STL on the Hill. Fino’s From the Hill(Midtown) has an old feel. Fino’s East is a modern place that hipsters would love, not that it’s a bad thing. I dunno if Fino’s East is newly open so the grocery stock isn’t out yet, or maybe they are avoiding the grocery here all together. The food is just as good here as Midtown. Unfortunately for Fino’s East, Lucchesi’s is close by. I love choices! The sandwiches here are awesome. The hard crust and the soft airy French bread, the oils, the quality meats. noms… The pasta here are also good too, but if I could make a suggestion, I WANTMOAR!!! They generally have good soups as well. My friend and I were chatting with the owner. He said that Finos Midtown has people coming all throughout the day(closes at 7:30), but East hardly has business after the lunch hours. Hopefully, it’s just early in the life of the restaurant. Please go support Fino’s East to keep it open!

I love the food from Finos. I occasionally eat at the midtown location for lunch, so was excited to hear that they were opening up a location near my house. The new location is really nice and I like the ambiance of the place. They have the best meatball sub that I have ever had, and the warm sauce on the hard itallian bread is delicious. I also had a chance to try the spaghetti and it was really good as well. Great food at good prices… Im looking forward to trying the pizzas soon.
