Terrible! Took my son. Butchered his hair. No regard that he had patches all over his head. Uneven. He was covered in hair. I couldn’t believe it.

I went for a face shave only and was disappointed. The barber used a safety razor, took less than 5 minutes, and wiped my face with a towel COVERED with hair. Good news? I only wasted $ 8. It was actually gross.

DONOTGOTOMIDCITYBARBERSHOP! I got a great haircut in LA, and they straight razor ed a part in, which is basically a 2 millimeter wide line where your hair is parted to give part a clean look and make it lay better. I even explained to him I had just had a haircut a week ago, and all I needed him to do was touch up the stubble in the part, so there’s no reason. Whatsoever for what he did. All he needed to do was trim the obvious 2 mm line in between all the hairs that were 1″-4″ long. He intentionally did his own thing. And to make it even worse, even if I did want a huge stripe down my head like I belong naked and in a jungle, he still didn’t even shave it all, it’s patchy as can be. Picture on top is what I had when I walked in, picture on bottom is what he did. Picture is uploaded, top is what I went in with, bottom is after he butchered it changing it into an inch wide line

5 stars for a classic barber shop. My 86 year old Dad is very picky about his flattop. These guys are not only old school, but they are old like him, and know how to do it right. And very affordable. A vanishing bit of Americana. Traditional styles you’ll have better luck with I am sure.

Chair #1 cuts hair like he’s an old Army post barber. Fast, short, no waiting. The other guys are more responsive to your specs. I always tell #1 to give me a «light trim» and that is usually enough to get Air Force or Coast Guard length hair instead of «Marine» or «retarded Mormon.» I know this isn’t exactly ringing praise, but I like it. They get it done. Also: being a traditional barber shop, they are not open on Monday(or maybe they don’t answer the phone on Monday) And they don’t do credit cards: Just checks and cash

This is a GREAT place. Been using these guys for years. They only charge $ 9.00 and you get all the treatment you need AND a damn good cut. Not sure who posted that bad experience but I know tons of people who use these guys repeatedly and have never been unhappy with what the results. Throw in a tip and you’re only out $ 15.00 and that will include cut, shave, hot lather, hot towels-the works. Great conversation too if you enjoy kicking back and talking«oldies». Perfect barber shop magazines: Field and Stream, Popular Mechanics, the daily paper… nice old, heavy, metal chairs that are still very comfortable. Don’t expect a fancy«do» or any snobbish attitudes. These guys are the real deal and a dieing breed. Too bad they’re all beyond retirement age because this gem won’t last forever.

WTF! Don’t go here unless you want to look like a retard. I simply asked for a little off the top, #3 on the sides and tapered in the back. What I got was short hair on the right top side of my head, long on the left, buzzed on the sides and block off half way up the back of my head. It seriously looks like Billy Bob Thornton’s haircut in Slingblade. Addendum: Just got back from my regular hair cuttin’ place only to learn that I was not the first person this week to have to come in to get their haircut fixed. This has been an expensive day for me!
