I’m traveling with a group… we reserved 6 rooms with king beds. We got 4 with doubles and two with queens. Okay… I can handle that. At 1:20am I just want to go to bed after a long drive. My group divides and goes to their rooms. First I’m told the room with my ladies in it has an unidentifiable substance on the sheets and pillows. I inspect and failed to identify said substance myself. On my way to inform the gentleman at the counter another group inquires as to why their toilet didn’t flush. I inspect and confirm that indeed the toilet was not working. I speak with the man downstairs and he quickly got us new rooms. These were in better shape… that is being generous. Now my room. It was very hard to get inside since the lock was busted. I get inside and discover a similar substance on my sheets. The room also had a scent that I would assume was made by a stoner sumo wrestler having intercourse with a yak. I’m now sitting in the wooden chair, trying not to touch anything and hoping to catch a few hours of sleep before heading on my way. I was going to sleep in the vehicle, but was informed by the kind policeman that this is one of the worst and most dangerous parts of town. Wonderful… Simply put… don’t ever book a room here… or near here… if you’re unfortunate enough to stay here being plastic wrap, lysol spray, and hand sanitizer. And a gun… with bullets for defense from the tweakers that seem to live in the parking lot.
