I would give service 4 stars because the waitstaff found the football game that my husband wanted to watch. I would give the food 3 ½ stars. I ordered chicken sliders, onion rings, and side salad. All good. My husband ordered club sandwich and fries. All good.

As far as hotel restaurants this place is ok. Several decent sized TVs but most are small and can only be clearly seen from a few seats. I certainly would not come here to watch a game unless no other place is carrying it, or you are in the hotel. Only 3 beers on tap. Boston lager, blue moon, and yuengling. I imagine they rotate, but not sure. Standard domestic bottle selection, maybe a few others mixed in buy I couldn’t really tell. Food wise I had a salad, so I cannot speak to the rest of the menu. Chicken on salad was great. Lettuce was fairly standard, decently crisp and cool. Caesar dressing was thick, so I suggest getting it on the side. Very good though. Service was ok. Only 2 working. One seemed to not care at all and spent most of the time«cleaning» tables. The other, I’m sorry I forgot the name, was very nice and friendly. I did sit at a table first and both walked by without saying a word, but then the bar cleared so I moved. Basically, if you are staying in the area and don’t feel like venturing too far this is a great place. I would also highly suggest it if you are looking for a quick meal before going to a redbirds game, as the stadium is literally next door. No real complaints on my end.

Russwood Park Sports Bar & Grill IS the place to root for your favorite NFL team(s) if you are staying in downtown Memphis! Every NFL game is playing — with sound — on TVs strategically placed throughout the bar and restaurant. My husband was in heaven because, at his request, they graciously played the Niners game on a large screen in one of the dining rooms with comfy chairs. The sound and AC were cranked up high for him and the others that joined us! They have access to(and show) every game being broadcast, and they are open on Sundays before noon(plenty of time to get settled in before kick off). The food is really very good(including dessert!) Service is excellent; everyone is super friendly. Location couldn’t be better — especially if you are staying at The Peabody, it is directly across the street! Russwood Park is well-decorated and quite clean. Another big plus for us is that inside is nonsmoking. Yeah, it’s missing the local flavor, so go have a pregame beer at the sports bar on Beale St., then head over to Russwood Park to eat(and drink) while watching(and hearing) the game in comfort!
