Spent a night here on the way back home to NOLA and we loved it! We lucked out because they were fully booked and someone had just canceled. The room was very clean, shower was nice and big, water pressure was really good, they even had cute decorations with the towels in the rooms as well as a nice welcome note on the bed with us. I wish we could have stayed an extra night. The guy at the front desk was really nice as well. Only negative would be the breakfast didnt have many options and the food they did have wasn’t very good.

The room was nice, very clean. As they’re all suites obviously there’s lots of room, there’s a wet bar, desk, sofa, lots of things in addition to the standard bed and bathroom. The beds are super comfy, as are the pillows. I will second a previous comment that the air conditioner is loud. Ugh, it sure is. The television reception isn’t great, but channels weren’t unwatchable. Despite staying on a weekend night during Memphis In May, I didn’t encounter any issues with noise although yes, as everyone else has said the doors are loud. But either I’m a sound sleeper or I lucked out and the rooms around me tried not to let them slam shut. There was one huge issue when I stayed last, though. Housekeeping. I asked for a late check-out and was granted one. Apparently housekeeping got a little overzealous and started knocking on my door one hour before REGULAR check-out. Even after I explained to the front desk, housekeeping still came back and knocked on my door yet again about 15 minutes before I was due to check out. Sheesh. That being said though, I’ve stayed here multiple times before and have never had this issue so I’m going to chalk it up to a one-time thing, though I’ll definitely triple check that I have a late check-out noted on my account before I even go back to my room. The front desk staff are all wonderful, all the times I’ve stayed here over the years I’ve never had a rude person or anything.

I booked our room through . One room with two queen beds. Arrived and was told that they had us in a king room with a pullout sofa. They said they were fully booked and could not change our room even though I had a copy of my confirmation. When we opened the package of bedding to make up that comfy pullout it was not completely dry! Put away wet by whoever cleaned the room. We took it to the front desk and they offered to dry it. They said it would only take a few minutes. Twenty minutes later we went back to the front desk and were handed a jumble of sheets and comforter. I could go on but won’t. Let’s just say they do not run the hotel in a professional sort of way. Would never stay there again. We did not stay there the second night. Cut our trip short. Very disappointed. Don’t stay here

Room was clean. Has mini fridge, microwave, coffee service. Beds comfortable, nice selection of pillows: down, fiberfill, soft, firm. Sheets average. In room safe and tub/shower combo. Sink outside bathroom. No closet, just a rod. Cute design with Aqua and green theme. Breakfast was powdered? Scrambled eggs that we’re okay. Sausage was vegetarian which was nice change. Breads, cereal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, etc. I didn’t have problems with noise, but it was mid week. The doors do slam if you don’t ease them shut, but there weren’t any kids running around either. staff friendly. Good stay and nice location to tons of shopping, restaurants, etc.

Tonia at the front desk is super helpful. Recent modern remodel & better rates($ 20 less) than the Holiday Inn Express next door. King room for $ 89 has kitchenette w/microwave & fridge; couch w/pull-out bed, & desk area. Comfy sheets, super clean & new; modern décor. Flat screen tv & ihome clock/radio w/speakers & iphone dock. Seems to be a lot of area restaurants, etc.

The doors at this hotel are on some sort of super-spring and they slam very loud. You know when your neighbors are coming and going as though they are upset while doing it. The ceilings are very loud. The people upstairs sounded like they were running around stomping their feet constantly. The internet was super slow and helped make my stay extra stressful since I do a bit of work on my computer. Other than noise and slow internet, the rooms were fine and the location is great but there are other better options in the area than this if you prefer to sleep. This has been the least sleep-friendly hotel yet. Just too noisy and the staff could careless.

Very clean and just a neat hotel. We had a problem with our tv in our room, so we called the front desk and told them. They sent someone immediately to look at it. They couldn’t fix it so they gave us a different room and hleped us carry our bags. The staff was very helpful. Pool and hot tub were very nice. Overall, a very good hotel. We will be back.

I don’t get the bad reviews. The room was very clean, the beds were super comfortable and the staff was friendly at check-in and check-out. The breakfast was typical deluxe continental and tasted typical. Nothing sucked but nothing was 5 star world renowned chef prepared. There are a ton of places to eat around it and the staff is knowledgeable of the area. We checked out to find a flat in our tire. The staff provided a few options close by to have it checked out. I would definitely stay here again if heading back to the area.

Clean, decent size rooms close to everything from the mall to restaurants. It’s usually quiet area after rush-hour. Free breakfast and they shop round out the amenities. Pool and exerciser room are newer. It’s in my preferred stay in Memphis. Staff have always been friendly and courteous.

This hotel is good for the price. Nothing that stands out above any other Marriott that I have stayed at… except, pretty great customer service. Every time I come in, every time I go out, always greeted with a smile and a friendly word or two. This place has all the norm, and I am happy to have a little area to work in, free internet, and better towels ;). Springhills have seem to have gotten better towls, but it would still be nice to have one giant towl that you can wrap yourself in… just ONE, Marriott? So much better for all :) The TV has reception issues sometimes, some stations have the interference… but some stations are a-ok. Great breakfast included with my stay… i had a waffle. yummy… they have oatmeal and eggs and bacon and cereal, yogurt. you get my drift. Over all a pleasant experience. Don’t be fooled by your GPS when it takes to to the Mall(ALLEY may be displayed as the street)… becuase you have to go thru the mall to reach the hotel… Close to a lot of stuff, so that is another perk for this Marriot Girl!

Clean and served its purpose. but doesn’t hold a candle to other springhill’s I’ve been in. Cons– There isn’t a closet. just a rod over in the corner. The bathroom is an odd space and the water pressure sucked. The air conditioner sounded like a freight train. I’m use the ‘loud’ air conditioner within hotel rooms. i can deal with that. But this thing was SUPERLOUD and rattled all night. I wanted to go crazy. This hotel is loud. you can hear everything. The doors close very heavily and others doors were closing all night. Very annoying. We were at the end of the hall, but it was still extremely loud. Pros — Location is close to the interstate and plenty of parking. Normal nice and comfortable beds that come with a Marriott. Overall — I’m a silver elite member(middle of the pack) and have had better service at much nicer and less nice Marriotts. I will not be back on my next road trip
