We have been here almost 2 hours and have not gotten our food. Getting nothing but excuse after excuse. This place is even busy

So this and Logan’s are pretty much the same except I think Texas tastes better. The cinnamon butter they serve with the rolls is awesome. I’m usually stingy with the compliments but the half chicken was PERFECT! SEASONEDTHRUOUT and not dry. And the environment was great. I felt at home there. Maybe not home but I felt welcome

O M GEEEE!!! I never knew the food here was so good. I enjoyed the free peanuts, the rolls with the awesome honey cinnamon butter. I had the country fried sirloin with brown gravy. Dang I wish I had the recipe for gravy! Service was excellent. Now I wish they would turn the music down a little. But other than that a wonderful experience. Food portions were large. No way you can leave without a full belly. I highly recommend!!! Ask for the server Regina. She was polite and on top of it. She had us laughing and really enjoying the experience.

Called in and was told they could seat us when we got there, then was told 15 min when we arrived, no biggie. Waited 50 minutes and was told after we were seated they were out of fries, potatoes, lemonade, and two cuts of steak(waitress said they were telling the front to let people know when they came in, but that wasn’t happening). Restaurant was too warm as well. Had to rush through the meal as our little one was getting too hot. Service was good.

I was in town visiting a sick relative and we wanted to go out to his favorite place in town, which turned out to be Texas Roadhouse. I had some bad experiences at Texas Roadhouses elsewhere but I was ready to give them another shot. And I was quite surprised at the end. We arrived with a party of five at 5:30 pm on a Saturday. Why? 5:30 pm, because the median age of this group was 62.8 and I am 29. Here I thought it would be a little packed but not bad. Holy sh*t, I was wrong. The place was packed to the walls. We got our little dingleberry dongle thingy and was told 35 – 40 minutes. Too many humans in between us and the bar, so we settle in the waiting room. One hour later… we get our table. Ahh, that’s great actually, it’s packed so why should a little longer wait to bother us. It was the table, not the hostess causing it. Got seated and immediately Heather showed up. You know those waiters who know their craft, yeah, Heather is one of those. Super bubbly and friendly. Checks on us regularly but not too regularly. Amazing. As I said earlier, there were 5 of us and we all ordered some variation of steak and potato. My Uncle got a dished called Road Kill which looked appetizing but he hated mushrooms. Which also, might be the only complaint of the night. When we left at 8:00 pm, there was still people waiting but almost twice as many of them. I had a great meal with my family so how could it get any better. Good service too! 5 stars for this one location!

I love Texas Road house as a rule and this time didn’t disappoint. The steak was just what I ordered and prepared correctly. The waitress was a little flirty, but it probably gets her better tips from men dining alone for the most part. I sat in the bar area and got to watch some sports while I ate. I enjoy this chain more than any other.

Good place to eat a steak. I had the 16 oz and it was cooked to perfection. I like eating here every time I make it to Memphis, and everyone is always in a good mood and ready to help you. My Margarita was excellent too. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone making it to Memphis

I’ve been to several roadhouses and I’ve never had any problems. Tonight I did. I ordered the salmon with a loaded baked potato and broccoli with extra lemon butter sauce on the side for my salmon. When I got my meal it looked good, but my bacon was missing off my loaded potato and my broccoli was raw not steamed. So I let my waitress Heather know, and she apologizes and informs me that they’ve had problems in the kitchen tonight. So as I start to dig into my potato… it’s hard in places like it was taken out of the oven too soon. I felt bad already for complaining so I just picked around it. The dryness of the potato I couldn’t ignore. They put maybe a teaspoon of butter and sour cream on this potato. I had to ask for extra. I was given about 1 milliliter of lemon butter sauce for this huge piece of salmon. I don’t know what that was going to do but I had to ask for more. I was given about 2 milliliters of sauce the second time. I hardly ever complain but this was not the experience I would have expected from roadhouse. Seems to be a lot of miscommunication in the kitchen going on. I was disappointed after eating at one of my favorite restaurants.

Recently moved to Memphis, I had dinner here for the first time tonight, our steaks were cooked to perfection! Everything we ordered was excellent! Bread we ready as soon as we sat down and drinks came within minutes. Our server was Jonathan and he provided amazing service, I will definitely be a returning customer! Five stars

good place for a weekday dinner, def do not come on weekends you will be waiting too long. Steaks are above average, they IMO can take a cheaper Sirloin and make it really good, they have great ribs, home made sides, decent salads, excellent pork chops and cat fish. I would not suggest the prime rib its too tough. Steak Tidbits are pretty yummy, I live close by so I am at this location a few times a month. beer is cold, service(weekday) is fast and place is priced right. Of all the Texas themed joints I like these guys the best

Waitress was less than friendly. Warm wimpy salad, no rolls, soggy steak fries and undercooked steak made for a very unpleasant experience which is Surprising because we are frequent visitors to Texas roadhouses around the country. Will not come back to this location. Such a joke.

I’ve been there twice and I was satisfied both times I went. The food was very tasty. The first time I went, I had the grilled salmon and that was seasoned just right. The second time I went, I had the smothered chicken. You have a choice of having gravy or cheese on it and I chose cheese. It also had sautéed onions and mushrooms. It was pretty good. The chicken was kinda small but if you were to get two fulfilling sides then you’ll leave satisfied as well. Also with the free bread that comes to the table, you would leave full every time. The waitress I had was Jessica the second time I went and I forgot about the first time but both times I was served perfectly. Now my only thing is the menu… It’s a lot but then it’s not. It’s a reasonable size but I would like to see more for more variety. Other than that everything else is great!

Went last Saturday night. They were packed with a 20 minute wait. But boy was it worth the wait. Our waitress was Summer she was awesome. She had rolls on the table before we were even seated and anticipated our every need before we even asked. You never would have known they were so busy. The house salad is probably the best I’ve ever had. I had the smothered chicken breast it was juicy and very tender. My husband had a ribeye. He said it was the best steak he has had in 6 years. My son had the ribs and they were wonderful as well. Even the tea was sweetened just right for me. If you are a margarita drinker you have got to try the frozen sangria margarita all I can say is yummm. All this 3 teas, 2 bottles of beer and a margarita under $ 75.00. We WILLBEBACK.

This restaurant was really busy with a steady flow of customers coming and going. The atmosphere was very lively and energetic. The hostess and waitress were pleasant, friendly and polite. We were seated quickly and received a courtesy bucket of peanuts a trademark of the restaurant to snack on. The menu had a favorite of dishes: steaks, burgers, pulled pork, BBQ chicken, salads, sides and appetizers. I ordered the Pulled Pork Plate with steamed veggies and my husband ordered the Sirloin Hearty Cut Steak with a loaded baked potato. We shared the appetizer: Boneless Buffalo Wings choice of mild or hot sauce with Rattlesnake Bites(Fried Jalapenos) and Tater Skins. Served with your choice of two dipping sauces. The pulled pork was tender and favorable with a sweet spicy accent. The vegetables were undercooked and bland. My husband’s steak was cooked to his liking and he enjoyed the loaded baked potato. The appetizer combo was very tasty. Overall, our waitress was attentive, the prices were reasonable and the food was okay.

So, I do like this place. The six ounce sirloin steak is the meal I love best. The steak is consistently great and the price more than reasonable. Sure I could eat more but with the free rolls and peanuts I never leave hungry. To counter the negative reviews, this is not a 5 start/Michelin star steak house. A New York strip is less than twenty bucks with side not more than 50 a la cart. Yes you do get what you pay for. The one time I have got a bad steak(it is a natural product sometimes there’s a bad one) it was taken care of no questions asked. Oh 4 – 6 there’s deals on the meals(which are often upgraded so be sure to ask) Lastly the draft beer is cold!!!

Came in on an extremely busy Thursday night. We got seated right away. Our waitress Madison was awesome and is the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one. Everything in this place was bad. They give you sweet rolls with sweet butter while you’re waiting. It tasted like dessert, no thanks. I ordered a burger and fries, my go-to at new places since it’s hard to screw that up. . The burger was awful. It was a smaller burger on a giant, stale sesame bun. It was so dry I had to smother it in ketchup. The fries weren’t terrible, weren’t very good either. I got pretty sick a few hours after eating here. I wouldn’t even bring my worst enemy here to eat.

Longest wait time ever. Three of us waited on a table. Said it would be 30 minutes. An hours and 15 minutes later we finally just sat ourselves at the bar so we could eat. Our buzzer thing never even went off nor did they acknowledge that we were never sat.

The service was superb. Our server Virginea(yes, I spelled that correctly) returned to our table often, had a steak redone that wasn’t quite to someone’s liking, and was very friendly. We were seated promptly, the manager inquired as to our happiness, etc. My steak(a ribeye) was perfect. The fries and veggies were good, as were the complimentary rolls and peanuts. I would definitely come back here again.

The worst steak I’ve probably ever had. All but 2 people in our party got burnt rubber steaks. I couldn’t take more than 2 bites and couldn’t even finish it. It’s really bad. Manager was rude and didn’t do anything even though we all left 4 – 6 oz on our plates. Burnt bad! Go across the street to Firebirds or down to J Alexanders. It’s a lot better, a LOT better!!!

Wow, where to start… My family and I attended Halloween kids night. When arrived we were told it would be a one hour wait, but we are actually seated within 30 minutes. After being seated we had to wait 25 minutes for drinks to reach our table. We did allow that as a positive only because they were very busy. We received bread, even though we were a party of seven we only got four rolls. So that’s obviously a negative. Our food came out in a reasonable time. When the food was delivered we were one dinnerplate short and it took an additional 10 minutes for that person to receive their plate. my dinner, I ordered a ribeye 12 ounce with a baked potato. Baked potato was very fresh and buttered as I requested. But my ribeye on the other hand was barely dead. I cut into the end of the ribeye and it wasn’t medium is I requested it was plain raw, not even rare! The waiter came to our table and asked how our dishes were okay. I then presented my steak(forgot to photograph) to our waiter. The only thing he said was«oh wow I will get you a medium steak!» Manager return to the table with my steak 10 minutes later. It was medium as I had ordered. As I ate the first bite, I tasted a lot of fat. I’ve been trying to cut around the fat or gristle and come to find that 95% of my ribeye was gristle. I literally had 2 bites of a 16 ounce steak. I have never in my life seen a ribeye so Fatty. I then saw this same manager and just told her to take the plate that I would eat off my husbands plate. She was very courteous when taking the plate and did take my meal off the check. There was a balloon guy walking around making balloons for different tables. He sat in a chair across from our table and made a balloon for the guest’s child. We waited for him to be done, because my children had balloon requests, but instead he told us he had another table waiting on us and that he would return. We waited an additional 15 minutes and he didn’t return so we left. Needless to say it was a horrible experience. My husband and family have eaten here several times before and this experience was truly horrible. It was the dinner from hell.
