Amy Sletten – Hair It Is

I’ve been seeing Amy for haircuts and color for 15 years and would not trust my hair to anyone else. At our first appointment I brought in a picture of how I wanted my hair cut. Amy spent the next several minutes looking at how my hair grew, feeling it’s body and weight before telling me that she could give me the cut in the picture, but that she didn’t think I would be happy with it and why. She then offered me several other cuts that were similar but which she felt were better suited to my hair (fine and straight). I’d never had a stylist take the time to do that before, and she clearly knew her stuff! I went with her suggestion and I’ve never been sorry. Over the years my cut has evolved and I’m still happy with it. I love that it is easy to care for, and looks great. It is rare that someone does not complement me on my hair during a given week. When they do I tell them it all starts with a good cut. Go and see Amy. She listens and she is very good at what she does.

I’ve been going to Amy for 19 years now. She’s the only stylist that highlights my hair that looks flattering for me. She also cuts my hair for a nice wash & wear look and never cuts more than you want. Right now I love it layered so I can curl it or not.
She’s been 99% on time with my appointments and I especially love that I can come in at 7am and be out and about by 9am.
She’s busy so give yourself a few days.
