Excellent food, great selection of beers, great atmosphere and plenty of tvs. It’s one of my favorites. A must try!

I do have to say that the atmosphere here is pretty good. They have a great selection of on tap beer and their bar food is not half bad. I do have to say though that the prices could be a little better. The SO and I went in and had 1 Abita Andygater, 1 Stella, and 2 Blue Moons, so 4 beers. This came up to be around 22 dollars before tip. That is kinda steep in my book. Albeit, 1 of those is a premium beer but still. I can get the same 4 at Cooter Brown’s uptown for cheaper than that and this is in Metairie!

Love Lager’s!!! Great, fresh/crisp draft beer. Great food! Plus my kid can go there before a certain time. Go here and enjoy a few cold pints.

Come eat here!!! Talk about bomb food! They know what they are doing in the kitchen. The recipes don’t change and they always are good. No complaints. Waitress’s are sweet and helpful. The drinks are great as well. They give hefty portions and the prices are as expected

Love it here — favorite place for lunch! Just wish the Rockbot Jukebox wasn’t so limited in selection.

I really liked this place. It’s a nice bar environment. Lots of beers on tap. I had the works burger. It was one of the better burgers I have had. Service was friendly, but a little inconsistent on timeliness.

To start of, Shelby was a great server. Been here before but not one server I ever had was as friendly as her. She deff made my night!!! Pulled pork sandwich was great!

Food is just basic fried bar food, nothing great. Great atmosphere, good music and overall good drink selection. I do feel like the waitress try to take advantage of tipsy people by getting them to order more, I’ve seen this happen with two of my friends. Shame on them. I would recommend to somebody asking where to drink and chill.

So I’ve never eaten food here, but been a number of times. Beer selection is nice, but availability is what kills me. Multiple times they didn’t have beers I picked off their menu, but that’s the only knock on them.

Owned by the same folks as the bulldog uptown. Had a pretty awesome sandwich(California chicken bacon magic) and broccoli– which was way too salty. My bartendress was genuinely friendly. Super helpful with brews and nailed what I was looking for on the first taster. TONS of beers and the owners are nuts about finding limited release and rare batch. Happy hour is 50 cents off drafts and cheap wells and wine till 7. Woods worn in dark pubby feel. I’ll definitely be back. I work right up the road and was in and out in 30 mins with two beers and lunch.

Lagers is a great alternative to going out in town. They have an impressive beer selection, you don’t smell like you just smoked 6 packs of cigarettes when you leave, and nobody is stumbling out of here hammered. This makes it a perfect place to watch a game or grab a quick drink. The servers are also very nice and attentive. So why are they missing two stars then? Something very near and dear to my heart: food. For the quality, Lagers food prices are actually laughable. They recently redid the menu, and that is when the trouble really started. Everything you can possibly imagine costs extra. You might start off thinking 6.99 isn’t bad for a quesadilla, but then you realize there is an up charge for every condiment, including salsa… SALSA. If you want chicken, add another 3.99, making this quesadilla 10 bucks. The nachos are an insult to all nachos. It is literally maybe a handful of shredded cheese out of a bag on about 60 chips… so basically you are paying 9 and some change for tortilla chips. They should really consider revamping the menu with prices that match a bar atmosphere/the quality of items they are serving. In the end, Lagers seems like a wise choice for a drink or two, but head further down vets to Swamp Room for your bar grub.

Not from here and was looking for non Orleans food since we been eating tons of fried food the past 6 days. Awesome place if you’re looking for good grilled food. I ordered the marinated chicken and it was juicy! My friends ordered the grilled chicken sandwich, red bean, and a burger. Everything was good. Server was great, fast service. We came in around 11pm thinking the kitchen might of closed but kitchen doesn’t close.

We’ve been here a couple times and it’s always good. The service has been great, food is yummy, beer selection is long. It’s basically our go-to American food joint in Metairie. Last time, I got the blue cheese burger with a veggie burger. I appreciate any place that has a veggie burger option and it’s better than a frozen microwaveable patty.

Amazing selection of beers, great service for 1am. Pretty decent bar food. I had the flatbread with feta cheese and sundried tomatoes with spinach. I added chicken and it made it just right. The hamburgers are also pretty good. Four stars for their beer selection 3 for their food.

I’ve been coming here for a couple decades now. This place rarely ever disappoints. The food isn’t 5 star food, but they have a pretty good variety for a pub. The beer selection is great. There are a lot of tvs there for watching games. My only complaint really is the parking. When it’s crowded, you are sometimes left without a decent parking spot in the front or back. Not a big deal because you can usually park in the Firestone parking lot. Very consistent 4* for me.

Excellent beer selection here and food is pretty good as well. Went here while in town for business and it was a good find. If you are looking for a good selection of craft beers with a laid back atmosphere them this is the place. They have Sweetwater here too so that was a huge plus.

Edit: 3÷28÷16 Not yet deserving of a downgrade in review, but if my next visit is anything like my last, it will. Menu has changed very much since even the last time I was there a couple months ago. Couple of REALLYPOPULAR items are gone and others changed to where they don’t even seem appetizing. Who ever heard of a philly cheese steak on friggin french bread??! Stopped in here over this past weekend and took a while for a server to come see us even though the place was empty, so we left and went across the street to BWW where we were called upon IMMEDIATELY. Lager’s has lost a LOTOFGAME over the last year or so. What the hell happened?!! Original: THIS is the place to be. Too bad they don’t open one on the Northshore where I live. They have enough taps to satisfy the beer lover in you, that’s for sure. Well, most of the time. The parking is a little tight, but usually you can park at Goodyear two doors down if you can’t find a place to park by the building. Whenever I’m in Metairie, I MUST stop here and get my Philly Cheese steak wrap fix. I’ve gotten the crawfish banditos before as well and they’re good. So is the étouffée. But mostly, I get the wrap because it’s just THAT good. The staff is always nice and polite and will always try their best to suggest beers that you might like based on what you tell them. They’re pretty knowledgeable about that kind of stuff. There are many different seating possibilities for you and your party. They have booths, tables, little small table/bar kind of things and a regular old bar. Prices are good for a place like this. Hell, we sometimes travel across the lake JUST to eat and drink here! These same people also own the two Bulldogs on Magazine and Canal, so you can familiarize yourself with the business. You’re coming to an International Ale House for the beer, though. And they won’t fail to quench whatever thirst you have, that’s for sure.

Very deep beer selection, as you might expect from the name. I believe there are well over 150 beers available, including perhaps 70(!!!) on tap. All of the beers I had tasted as they should(this might not sound like a big deal, but sometimes pubs with 100+ selections do not keep good tabs on the age of their inventory or the condition of their lines). Lager’s clearly cares about beer, and so I care for them. The menu veers toward pub food selections, but I was amused by the beer-themed entrees. It was quite busy the night I went, with patrons watching a Hornets game, and talking around Oktoberfest-style wooden tables. I would come here often if I lived in New Orleans. It’s worth the trip for tourists who aren’t into all the juvenile crap related to Bourbon Street.
