Firehouse Subs

They suck. They almost never get the orders correct, and they also apparently don’t know how to answer their phones. The guy who delivered my sandwich had the audacity to ask for a larger tip, which was bullshit considering it took them over an hour to deliver a sandwich 5 blocks away. Not sure who’s in charge over there, but they suck and need to be fired.

Excellent food, kind and fast service. This place is a winner and its employees should get a raise. They are great!

I can tell you right now that the service and food here is excellent. I work nearby and we order out quite often. Every time we order from here we’re treated with respect and the order is always correct.
I highly recommend this firehouse location if you’re in the mood for a great sub and friendly service. Very rare to get both on Miami Beach.

Never been to a Firehouse Subs before and I must say it is worth trying it out! Customer service at this location was beyond great and all staff was very friendly. It was also very clean and well kept. I got the Turkey bacon ranch sub and it was amazing ! I’ll definitely be back to try another sub :)

I love this place because of the many choices of hot sauces you can put on the sub. The sandwiches are amazing but the place looks a bit run down I guess is because since is in the beach and so many people are in and out the place is used a lot. The staff is great they were very nice and took care of me with great details. I had the honey mustard sub which is amazing and I recommend the mango hot sauce if you don’t like too much spicy and if you do like the fire try out the chipotle !

Coming from Philly, it’s tough to find a good hoagie/​sub/​whatever you call it. Typical franchise joint, if you’re in vacation, not sure why you’d even stop in.

After a day at the beach, fighting rip currents and waves, this place hit the spot! Excellent sandwiches and service is friendly too. I like the sweet tea, nice treat. I had the Turkey salsa verde.

After hearing my little sis constantly rave about Firehouse Subs I knew I had to check it out for myself.
I got the steak and cheese sandwich which was perfectly cooked so the cheese was oozing out of every bite. The customer service was top notch and while they were making my sub I got to stare in awe of this awesome soda dispenser. This isn’t your usual tap of assorted beverages. This one machine has a plethora of options. Did I want diet coke with vanilla added in or maybe lime? Did I want Dr. Pepper with cherry vanilla added in? Why yes, I did! I was thrilled to find my favorite soda among the options because usually it’s impossible to find so this was pure gold to me. Is it crazy to want one of these machines for my house, cause I really do! My sandwich order was up quickly so I had to bid adieu to the soda machine and head on my merry way.
I can see why my sister raves about this place and I’m hoping we will get one in our area soon!

Always a great spot to catch a quick sub. I come here often for lunch since its nearby. Staff is very nice and sandwiches are delicious! Italian is my favorite.

This was my first visit to Firehouse Subs! My husband has been raving about the subs, so we decided to try it out this evening. I LOVE Italian subs and was happy to find the hot meatball sub with lots of melted cheese! The white sub bread was SO soft and tasty, a perfect blend with the melted cheese and red sauce. The meat was nicely flavored, not like a typical fast food meat ball and better than many Italian restaurants! EVERY single bite had meatball in it which was moist and the perfect size.
My husband had some kind of ham sub, I didn’t ask but the receipt says large Hook. It was delicious and sure put a smile on his face!
The place is absolutely spotless, nicely air-​conditioned even though the door is open, and the self serve soda machine was nice and clean. The manager (Fabio) was extremely attentive and cheerful, cared very much about our order and our experience, and stopped by to check on us! The rest of the staff was fun and caring as well, it was an over all excellent experience!

My second time here and I’m am still just as pleased as my 1^st. Food came out quick and was delicious. Staff is super friendly and helpful! Still would definitely recommend!

While visiting South Beach we stopped for lunch. We found Firehouse subs as we were walking on Washington Ave. I had these subs once before in San Diego and were very good. This location has ample seating, a few tv’s and a large service counter. The prices are average, but these sandwiches are as good as they come. They are always made fresh and you can’t beat the value for it. The restaurant is very clean and the staff is very friendly.

Firehouse Subs in Miami Beach is a pretty nice place to get a quick sandwich on Washington ave.
The SoBe location is pretty large compare to the one I have visited before, but I must say it is much better maintain than any other restaurent from the chain ! Very Clean !!!

I eat here just about every time I work my part time job on the beach. Always good service, always great sandwiches. Its never busy, which makes little sense to me but that’s my benefit. Good spot for lunch/​dinner during a long shift wrenching bikes.

You know the deal: it’s Firehouse Subs.
They make a good sandwich at a great price and they do it well. This location is fairly large and spacious, especially for south beach. Not a destination spot but rather a consistent, suitable choice for a quick and satisfying lunch.
The fancy modern soda machine is pretty cool even if you go for club soda like me, because you can splash a hint of lemonade or lime easily. It’s fun.
I got the veggie sandwich which hit the spot with its sauteed mushrooms, peppers and onions. The «additional toppings» idea is sort of confusing to me. Lady told me I put them on after but I didn’t see any self serve toppings bar so not sure what she meant.
I would like at least one more meat free option. The bread is fresh and delicious.
I could have bumped them up to 4 stars as there’s really nothing negative about Firehouse. Yet still I cannot say I’m truly a fan so three it is.
Bottom line: solid sandwich spot at a great price on otherwise overpromised Washington Ave.

I liked this place. I was hesitant to try it because of the low star grade but I was starving and wanted something fast that wouldn’t break the bank. I don’t regret it one bit. I had the tuna salad on a bun amd the tuna and ingredients were fresh and what I liked the most was the break… Warm and soft
The customer service is great too. The workers are very friendly.

3. Of us work locally and thought we’d give it a try … All of us were disappointed. The Capr., turkey/​cran and a turkey/​ranch. HORRIBLE. I didn’t know it was possible to screw up a sub? I should of known — it’s a McChain that has little concern for quality/​taste. Ooof. Note: the Sandwicherie has it down. (And others)
