For this subway being in the heart of south beach you would think the workers would speak English. When I walked in I was the only person in the place and stood at the counter waiting to order. The two women working stood there talking to each other and looking at their phones. One looked at me and continued with her conversation then walked over and greeted me in Spanish and continued talking in Spanish. When I went to pay I handed the cashier gift certificates and she told me she didn’t know how to use them there for I could not use them. When she asked the other lady to help her she walked up and only spoke Spanish to me and when I told her I do not speak or understand Spanish she did not care but rather continued in Spanish. When I asked to talk to a manager the woman said she is the manager and then continued speaking to me in Spanish. So she knows English but would rather not speak it to customers. I love subway but will not be returning to this one solely based on the service.

This is the worst subway I’ve ever eaten at. I’m always eating at subways in North miami, fort lauderdale, south beach, midtown, downtown. And this is the worst subway. I’ve gone about 5 times here, because it’s a block away from my job and very convenient for me but now I go to the subway in 9th Street and washington, and the food is a lot better there. This subway is never prepared, they never have the bread that I request they always tell me white or wheat with an attitude. Today I asked for the 9-grain honey oat, and instead of being professional and telling me that they have white or wheat only the lady very rudely starts talking under her breath and gets a wheat bread and starts making the sandwich. They always have everything half way full or empty, I asked for spinach and she had to walk to the back of the store to get a bag, at least she got me some spinach, the time before this one I asked for spinach the other lady said there’s no more but I’m certain that she was just being lazy. This place sucks!

The worst subway restaurant ever! Staff is consistently rude. Only one young gentlemen in there has ever been polite and he was very nice. The women that work there seem to all have terrible attitudes. If only there was a blimpie or Panera bread or anything semi healthy on Washington ave I would never go there anymore!

This place is unbelievable! The employees don’t change there gloves. I’ve witnessed employees counting money, wiping down counters and making sandwiches at the same damn time! One day I did a survey… I went in to get my free cookie and the man snarled at me. Every since then he does not give me a receipt! I believe he told the other employees not to give me one too. I only get one if I ask. At night it gets worst… one employee and he only has two types of bread available… no soup and some old hard crusty cookies.

This subway was so slow! a girl behind me kept complaining about the service, especially because the girl being helped was extremely drunk and kept conversing with the worker after he made her sandwich. They were also out of spinach and shredded cheese, which I always get on the salad. My friend specifically ordered the spinach and chicken salad and the guy just started making it with lettuce without even telling my friend they were out of spinach!

REALLY friendly people for a change. Good surprising food for a subway, and really nicely located too. Also a good way to save money and eat good, if you’re visiting Miami beach, but don’t earn money like a star. :)

SUBWAYWASMYSPOT! I was here for UMF weekend… and I wasnt really liking the nearby food restaurants. In addition, everything was so expensive nearby! i finally found a SUBWAY… a block away from my hotel… it was perfect! a $ 5 footlong was my savior! HOWEVER… I do have to agree that the location was VERYMESSY… but so was every other location/food spot in South BEACH Miami. Anyways…I didnt want to pay a lot of money for some food(since everything in SB was expensive)…and I didnt understand what was so great about CUBANFOOD… it just tasted like greasy mexican food… hmm anywho… the SUBWAY was a key spot for me during the UMF weekend. UNTILTHEN! ^-^

So far this is the most ghetto Subway I’ve eaten at. I’m sure it was like this because of Memorial Day weekend but DAMN. When I say this store was dirty, boy! I tried to find the cleanest table I could and it was still dirty! They were all out of bread except for wheat. I think they were out of something else I wanted but I can’t remember what. And let’s not get on what the entrance outside looked like smh. But at least the sandwich did taste fresh. I was very unimpressed but hey, it filled me up and I didn’t get sick.
