I passed by a few days ago and it appears that Lime has closed !!! The place is dark, boarded up and the Lime sign outside has been taken down !!!

I have been going to Lime since it opened, but either there is new management or I don’t know. Yesterday I ordered the Flautas, they tasted like it have been cooked, then frozen and fried a second time. Today I ordered a Lime Burrito and asked them to use the San Pedro pork. After paying the receipt said steak, I was taking this to go and even mentioned it to the manager who could care less and ignored me. Of course when I got home it was not pork as ordered it was steak. Customer service sucks ! and the food is not what it used to be. NOMORELIME, I will go some where else from now on.

If I could give them zero stars I would. I’m not sure if management has changed or what, but I’ve never been so dissatisfied with customer service or a meal. BUYERBEWARE — if you’re looking at the online menu, you will not get what you’re expecting. I ordered a «Big Cali Burrito,»(An XL Burrito stuffed with your choice of chicken or ground beef, cilantro-lime rice, guacamole, salsa asada, cilantro, black bean corn salsa, tortilla strips, cheese, and our signature sour cream. Better have a spotter ready.) Sounds amazingly delicious right? That’s what I thought, too. Instead, I got a tiny scoop of rice, cold re-fried beans, and 5 tiny pieces of fish(I had asked for fish instead of chicken or beef). XL? Seriously? More like XS!!! I called Lime(very polite… At first) and told them I must’ve gotten the wrong meal. He asked what I ordered and I told him. He said«that comes with rice, beans, your choice of meat and sour cream.» I replied with«your menu says differently, I was expecting…(read him what it said)» and he replied with«our location has a different menu.» So I kindly said«well I wasn’t made aware of that, your location is listed on the website.» So he gave the phone to the manager… Who was outrageously rude. No refund offered. No «next time you come in we will discount your meal.» No «so sorry about the confusion, ma’am, what can we do to make this better?» NOTHING. As a matter of fact, he tried to make me out to be the bad guy because I ordered from their website. NOWHEREONTHESITEDOESITSPECIFYTHEIRMENUISDIFFERENT. Ugh. I can’t believe I paid $ 30 for a salad and the worlds smallest burrito. If you are craving Lime, make sure you go to a different location. Better service, hot food, and you get what you pay for. Oh and BTW Mr. «Manager,» learn how to treat customers with respect. A happy customer will tell 10 people, an unhappy customer will tell 1,000. Keep that in mind next time you start arguing with a customer, who by the way«is always right.»

Good, cheap and quick! The staff is nice. Great tacos, chicken quesadilla and burritos. There is an outdoor space and the place overall has a nice feel to it, definitely not a traditional fast food. Recommended.

I love authentic Mexican but this is not authentic. It’s American Mexican but still very good. The service is fast. The food tastes fresh and overall good. I would avoid this place during lunch hours because it gets really busy and you can’t find a seat. The quesadillas, tacos and burritos are all good!

I would not call Lime«Fresh» anymore, it used to be one of my favorite places for lunch but it has really gone downhill. The food is not as good and worst of all it is not clean. I saw a roach under our table! One of the people working there didn’t seem to flinch when I told them about it just picked it up with a napkin said she would wash her hands and carried on. Needless to say, I will not be going back again and I used to go very often. The only good thing I can say is the service is quick.

Overall, Lime is a great place to get quick and relatively healthy Mexican food. It’s Americanized, but also very tasty too. It used to be an independent, but was bought by the big chain Ruby Tuesday. They have tweaked a few things, but left mostly everything else alone, and thankfully so. Lime continues to get my business. Good job guys.

Very good tacos. I do regularly come here to grab lunch. Only complaint i have is that they need to increase the amount of meat in each taco. Love the self serve salsa station! The pico de gallo is perfect. Cool outdoor seating.

For what this place is, it is super fast and delicious! Hubby loves the soft tacos, and I typically get a side of organic black beans and small guacamole, then mix the two. There are enough salsas to throw in to any meal that you get here! I’m not a fan of the open salsa bar, but I can deal with it here because the food is so good! If you want to splurge on empty calories, try the frozen margarita. Just be careful… just one is super potent!

Tasty fresh fast Mexican food that’s wallet friendly. Servers are helpful and fast and food has lots of vegetArian and diet options/easy to get something tasty without feeling restricted and they promise to make ANY dish veggie. Nice selection of craft beers too. Seating is outdoorsy and shaded and leafy and a great space to get a quick cheap yummy meal with friends. One confusing thing is how to tip: you pay when you order and this confuses what you do for server

Delicious tacos at a great price. We chose Lime mostly because it was the closest among a selection of mexican restaurand in SOBE, but when we got our food – the surfer and shrimp verde tacos – we couldn’t have been more pleasantly surprised. As the name suggests this is a really fresh version of mexican fast food, but not in any way lacking in flavor. The shrimps were among the best I have ever had and the salsa bar had a really nice range of sauces. To top things off the prices are great. So happy to have had this food experience without feeling like a grease bomb afterwards… A plus for the nice selection of beers. We had a Miami brewing co mango weiss beer which was perfect with the food.

They are def not fresh anymore… they are a little better(or fresher) than TacoBell. I remember when they opened and I couldn’t get enough, but like most places now that they have the reputation built they can let the quality of food go down(unfortunately). The service is pretty good tho…

I really want to give Lime a higher rating. But I just can’t. I’ve been at least a dozen times and being a vegetarian I love that they can make anything on the menu veggie friendly. I’ve had the taco salad(favorite), burrito, naked burrito, fajitas, quesadillas, chips & queso, and even a margarita. Clearly I’ve tried it all. While the food has always been good(except one take out salad that didn’t have any of the toppings it promised) I have a real issue with Lime. I have found chicken in my food more than 5 times now. Being a vegetarian this is a real issue for me. I really do like the food but now if I go I have to pick through it first to check and see where that hidden chicken is. I just wish they could be more careful making the dishes that they state on their menu as vegetarian. I even found chicken in my salad when it was their self-proclaimed«meatless monday.» Anyway, if you like chicken or are a quasi-vegetarian, eat your heart out. the food is great and they have a expansive salsa & hot sauce bar.

I don’t think there’s much competition in the area to compare Lime’s to, which is why the fair rating. The burritos were pretty plain and the salsa bar was messy and unappetizing. The chicken was bland and my burrito was dominated by lettuce.

This little joint was recommended to us by our new found friends over at McAllister Spa( ), just a few blocks down the street. We were all craving something Mexican-ish(being from Southern California, we can’t really go for more than 2 days without Mexican food), so tacos sounded just right. We walked a few blocks, and were quite surprised by what we found. Very interesting taco combinations, all of which sounded delicious. And they were. Definitely sufficiently satisfied our taco craving! Plus the guac is pretty good too! And if you like hot sauce, they got ‘em. Like, 50 of them.

Wow! Yes wow! That is the word I use to describe the mouthwatering food at this incredibly authentic tex-mex restaurant. This is truly one of my favorite taco places in all of Miami. Soak up the rays on the beach and head over to Lime for meatless Mondays! Being a devout vegan myself there is no greater solace for my difficult palate. I eat at Lime often. Great prices, excellent costumer service, plenty flavorful drinks and brew-da-loos, salsa bar, and a wonderful ambiance! Don’t forget to enjoy their sangaritas!

Mira como come picante! « Tienen siete salsas hecho en casa que me tenían cantando la canción de Freak Nasty — «I put my hands up on my hips, when I dip, you dip, we dip.»

Tacos were delicious. Great music. My favorite was the grilled shrimp. Limited parking on side of building was the only downside.

It looked good, a busy place on a Sunday evening, but wasn’t that great. It’s okay, not authentic and more of a franchise«frozen food heated up» place rather than real mexican food. We ordered guacamole and chips, chicken tacos, and the veggie taco. I could have bought better guacamole from the local grocery store that would have tasted better, or my own homemade guac tastes way better! My friend had to add so many different sauces and additions to it that it tasted better only after she created the mix. It was very bland and not as fresh as we thought it would be. The chicken tacos were just okay, nothing special, chicken wasn’t seasoned or flavored. The chips were okay as well, a little too greasy for me. Don’t think I will add this place to my list to visit again when I come back to Florida, since California has way better mexican food!

Good quick late lunch on Sunday. I got the cantina salad with steak, bacon, peppers, onions, cheese… Asked it without the beans and corn salsa but was still served with it :(The salad was good, ok portion and I like the cilantro ranch dressing. They could put more meat but it’s a $ 9 so don’t expect too much. Too bad they put the bean and corn salsa, I would have enjoyed it more. My husband got the lime burrito with ground beef, refried beans, cheese, sour cream and lettuce. He loved it. It is also served with nacho chips. The place is nice, there is a little patio where it’s nice to eat if you can grab a table. They also bring your food to the table which makes it a less«fast food-y» restaurant.
