O’ My Buns

This place is an absolute gem. Stopped by for a quick breakfast and was totally bowled over. The buns are airy, fluffy, warm and full of goodness! We tried some of the mini samples which in my opinion were too sweet, but I’m glad we got the buns instead. Had the Nutella and cream cheese and can’t wait to get back for more.
We were accompanied by our 14 month old and the lady at the counter was one of the sweetest people we’ve met. The service was top notch. The place is tiny and I can imagine it may get crowded at times but everything else from the quotes on the walls, the ambience, the people all make up for it.
We were visiting Miami on a short trip and would whole heartedly recommend this place.

Yummy yummy! There’s nothing is south Florida like these buns. There’s a savory sweetness to the bread, and the different creams are a delicious combination. Not to mention all the flavors of drinks. So delicious and so unique!

The coffee is good, the buns are airy, fluffy and delicious, and these guys are the nicest people in the world! Completely won me over. I will stop by here every time I am in South Florida.
They’re expanding their variety of flavors, but there’s nothing quite like the original. Soft, fresh buns filled with salted butter. What’s not to love?
Other choices for fillings include cream cheese, Nutella, and chocolate. Choices for toppings include chocolate chips, almonds, and walnuts. But like I said, try the original, unadulterated.

Great experience! I located this hidden gem off Unilocal.I was in vaca in south beach and reside in philly. Anyways, I had a craving for something a little sweet and I am so glad I checked this place out. All the pictures made everything look phenomenal. When we arrived the owners were so friendly I sharing their start up company’s story with us and let us sample everything, including homemade hazelnut spread and cream cheese fillings. Best I’ve ever had! I ordered a dirty green tea latte frapp their recommendation since I couldn’t decide between coffee and green tea. Delish! A shot of espresso in this matcha powdered drink was soooooo good! We brought back some buns to our friends and all split everything. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, thank you from philly! :)

O’ My Buns is seriously amazing. This place gets 5 stars for how delicious their buns are and 10 stars for their AMAZING customer service. Their mini cream cheese puffs (?) are to die for. I’m normally suspicious of places that get 5 stars from every reviewer, but O’ My Buns definitely deserves every star!

Oh my goodness these buns are delectable! My besties and I were celebrating a bachelorette and looked up «desserts» to try. The pictures of these donut-​like buns do not do it justice! Looking at the photo’s of the buns we weren’t convinced that these would be delicious until our first bite. It’s filled with a choice of I believe 3 «frostings». The staff is SO friendly. I also got their green tea frappé which was one of the best I’ve had– and I’m from NYC, (Ya know~ land of the best authentic cuisines). They have loose tea leaves that they steep for you too if you order tea like my best friend did. The ONLY downside is that there are no real seats to dine-​in. IF YOU DON’T DECIDE TO STAND AND LINGER– DEFINITELY TAKE IT TO GO!!!

The owner and the concept are both awesome. When walking in i had low expectations, but man, after the first bite I was sold. The Nutella bun was amazing! So light and flavorful! After they pulled it out of the oven they injected it with 4 pockets full of Nutella. Clutch. I’ll be back here soon.

I was here to run the Miami Marathon and came across this unusual and delightful bakery! The girl who took my order was so helpful and super friendly! I loved the buns-​get the cream cheese!

Delicious! Love the buns here, I wish we had them in Raleigh. They’re baked fresh everyday and filled to order. I had the chocolate chip bun with cream cheese filling. It was so good. Definitely unique and a must try! The owner was also super friendly and gave us free samples of their cheese danish, and it was the best I’ve ever had!

Where to begin? Oh my word. The husband and I were walking back from Espanola Way when we ran into the window of this little jewel in South Beach. Our taste buds have never been the same since… In fact, I’m quitting my infrequent trips out of my way to Cinnabon for O’ My Buns.
Sheer delight and pleasure are the only descriptors for the master buns this place creates. Total game-​changer for me. I will never cheat on them. I’m a buns girl all the way. What makes these my go-​to buns for ever and always is that they’re not dense with dough and sugar – they’re actually light and airy (fluffy but not skimpy) and they come with the option of a little bit of cream cheese or not. Totally your way. And then they swirl mocha in (again, your choice). The options are almost endless.
Staff are super kind and service-​oriented. Love the whole idea of this place being. Love, love. Yum, yum.

When we came in, the guys were very nice and helped us with our choice cause we never been here before. Our coffee and buns were soooo good, the buns were soft and warm. We enjoyed it a lot. The owner gave us a sample of some pastry for free. Overall, good choice!!!

Aye dios bun-oh’s! This place was great! Decided to check out this small Malaysian chain in Miami where we were greeted by the nicest workers. At first I was a little skeptical because the buns were an unusual item and expected a cup of watery coffee. We thought we’d go off on a limb and grab a bun to snack on and an iced coffee to open our eyes. We ordered a chocolate chip bun filled with cream cheese. To my surprise the bun was light and pillowy soft with a nice crunchy outer layer! And the coffee was nice and creamy with a smooth and nutty taste that really paired well with the warm bun! Sadly, this was during a vacation visit, otherwise you’d definitely see me in here again.

My friend and I were walking «home» after dinner when we passed by O My Buns… I figured it might be a good lil dessert option even though it’s more of a breakfast type place. You might miss this gem of a place if you’re just walking along Washington.
Hospitality: We were greeted by Hamza, one of the owners, and Jorge. They explained their sweet bun pastries (very similar to bread pastries from Asia or a pan dulce) and all the different topping options. We also learned this is indeed a franchise concept from Asia (I had a hunch based on its aesthetics). They were really happy to help explain things to each of the customers that walked in. Compared to other places I’d been to in Miami Beach, their hospitality and customer service were hands down the best I had yet to experience… maybe I’m biased as a Southerner who expects southern hospitality wherever I go or maybe it’s because they’re new.
The Buns: My friend and I shared the Original bun topped with Cocoa/​Mocha/​chocolatey stuff with almond shavings. My friend also opted to get his portion with chocolate syrup sauce on it… delicious! The bun was not overly sweet like most desserts or breakfast pastries/​donuts, but just the right amount of sweetness. I guess you can make it sweeter with the syrup sauces… your choice, so that’s cool. We also got a hot/​fresh Cream Cheese filled bun. I forget what was on top, but I remember thinking that the warm cream cheese filling would ooze everywhere… it didn’t! There’s just enough filling so that it doesn’t consume each bite, but also isn’t sparse like when some bites might be all bread.
Drinks: I ordered a Chocolate Mint Frappé… made to perfection by Jorge! I could taste both flavors without one overpowering the other, and again, not overly sweet like at some drink places. For me, it was just the right amount of sweet. My friend got the Green Tea Frappé… Also very delicious if you like Matcha Green Tea flavor. He was really surprised at how tasty it was.
Overall: visit this place and get something yummy for breakfast or dessert or a midday snack! I’m definitely returning here the next time I’m in Miami Beach. So many options and you won’t break the bank or be in a diabetes coma!

The service is so friendly here. We walked in not knowing what to expect of the food. They provided us samples and spent time explaining the menu. Since we were early not all buns were ready and they gave us a time estimate for those that were not and offered a free coffee if we wanted to wait.
In the end we ordered the mocha chocolate chip and vanilla chocolate chip buns. Both were fantastic and left us wanting more. The latte was made well and the berry smoothie was really fresh and sweet.
We left wanting more and I know I will be back in the future.

This place is amazing. The people are extremely friendly and most importantly all of the menu items are fresh and delicious.
I recommend anything on the menu but my favorites are the original cream cheese bun and the cream cheese minis. Hamza the owner takes pride in the products they serve and the customer service is second to none. They bake everything fresh and even make some great smoothies. Don’t miss out on this place if your looking for coffee, smoothies, or a delicious pastry. I am so glad they are now in south beach!!!

I’ve been here twice in the last two weeks in the evening. Have always had a great sweet bun here. Spoke to the owners and they gave me an insight that these were Korean style buns. Regardless of which bun you get, butter and sugar or cream cheese filled, they were delicious. Soft buns with a soft sweet sugar coating and that filled inside reminiscent of a jelly doughnut.
They are also starting a new straw like filled pastry that looked interesting. I’m going to go by and check it in the next few days when I walk my dog since I’m only 3 blocks away.
PS: They have an assortment of coffee, green tea and other flavored drinks, hot and cold.

Buns buns buns! Perfectly round, soft, golden, sweet, fresh out the oven, yummy buns! We made sure we stopped by for these buns to bring back to Jersey before the airport. Awesome customer service as well! Thanks again Tanay & Hemza!

Ive been waiting for a year for this place to open and it was definitely worth the wait! The buns are soooo good and ive never had anything like this before.
My favorite is the cinnamon walnut but the cream cheese mini was to die for.
The store was also very nice and clean and the smell of the buns made me want to eat everything. I had the green tea frappé and i loved that i could really taste the green tea. It was perfect for the 91 degree humid weather.
I will be coming back when they open next week! So excited! South beach needed a place like this!
