Was soll man sagen. Ein richtig richtig leckerer Döner! Überhaupt nicht fettig, Salat war sehr frisch und Brot sehr knusprig.
Keine Hektik oder Unsauberkeit (wie man es aus Deutschland kennt) sondern eine tiefe Ruhe und Entspannung. Die Mädels hinter der Theke haben den Döner mit sehr viel Liebe und Sorgfalt gemacht. Sehr zu empfehlen!

This place is to die for. For the restaurants sake I hope they do well, for my sake I hope nobody finds out how good this place is, lol… Everything is fresh and delicious and with the drive no matter how far you live. I live in North Miami Beach and have driven down twice in 3 days. The owner is so genuine and has such passion for great food, it’s refreshing. Must try everything here, and grab one to go too.

Fresh! There bread is so good. We tried both chicken and beef and they are both so tasty, you can have them in a sandwich, salad, or bowl. The place is super clean and the team is friendly.

Didn’t even know this place existed, saw a deal on Groupon and it lead me to check it out on Unilocal.

I had tried these types of Sandwhiches in Abu Dabi the 1^st time… Fell in love with them.

We went and I’m so happy to have gone.

Was a nice little twist to see that considering everything lately is a play on words.

Not that I’d eat at subway but we all know that crap comes frozen.
You could train a monkey to add it to a tray and press a button to «fresh bake» it. Lol.
But to see the dough being weighed and prepped was pretty cool in this automated world we live in.
Even the cucumbers were cut thin and perfect.
They pay attention to details.
I remember clearly telling the guys that they made my dinner look like art.

Spitfire is hands down my new favorite Turkish/​European spot. The staff is super attentive right off the bat! The service is fast but fresh. I saw them make me fresh bread before my eyes for the Döner Sandwich I got. The chicken had a delicious flavor and the sauces blew me away! I loved, loved, loved this place. All you need is the sandwich but they have chips and fries side options (which are a bit expensive). All in all, a great experience! I’m so stuffed.

So after reading all the good reviews I thought I would try it out. Ordered a beef donor kebab with garlic sauce delivery
Delivery was nicely on time. When opening the bag a very strong smoky garlic smell came out to me already. When trying a bite it was great bread, great door kebab but the sauce made it uneatable. I had 3 more bites and am sitting here with an absolute horrible taste in my mouth from that sauce. Do not order the garlic sauce and it should be OK. Not as great as some say though

Spitfire is the bomb! I left this place with a full and satisfied belly. This establishment is pretty small with a few bar stools near the store front to sit and eat. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The food was killer, everything was fresh and tasty. I ordered a bowl with turmeric brown rice, chicken and all the veggies available. OMG it was so GOOD! I BF ordered a lamb gyro which he claimed to be really good and it was really big. I cannot wait to return!

I came here because of the great reviews. Actually I got here right when they open. They have great service and it really reminds me of a chipotle. Prices were decent sandwich ranging around $ 8
I got the sandwich ³⁄₅ I had more expectation of it the chicken didn’t have alot of flavor as I expected.

Das ist der beste Döner den ich je gegessen habe! Er schmeckt sehr frisch und ist nicht fettig! Das Fleisch wird vor Ort gewürzt und auch das Brot wird selber hergestellt, was man auch schmeckt! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und das Ambiente ist sehr schön! Das Preis-​, Leistungsverhältnis ist für Miami super! Wie gesagt: «The best Döner ever!»

So good. cannot get enough of it. Whatever you see, you get the best of it. They guy is so helpful and patient. It doesn’t look fancy but the food is amazing. :-)
you can also get their beef and chicken, half n half. I got a large bowl and salad with my meat.
Overall this is one of the restaurants that you wanna keep going once in a while if you are living in Miami.

Turkish/​German fast food– Doner Kabob/​salads. The food at this place very good. We got the Doner beef sandwich and the salad bowl with mixed chicken and beef. The salad is make-​your-​own with lots of greens, thinly sliced cucumbers, marinated green and red cabbage, seasoned onions with tatziki, tahini, or multiple other delicious dressing on top — with your choice of meat.
The Doner sandwich is delicious warm bread with TONS of meat and fillings.
Definitely coming back!

I came here soon after opening with a friend, and this place is very forgettable. Like I forgot that it existed until a friend mentioned it. When there’s tight competition with Greek Gyros and Lebanese Shawarma, this fusion Turco-​German Doner better bring its A+ game.
And it brought it’s C+ game. The chicken doner wrap was drier than expected, and while I enjoyed the toppings, a house with a nice roof and no foundation isn’t much of a house at all.

I love this place! And I must definitely attribute my knowledge of it solely to Unilocal,as I never would have thought to look around the corner from Five Guys to discover this gem otherwise. As a Turk, I believe I am well qualified to comment on the authenticity of this joint. Is it a Turkish Doner kebab? No! And I’m glad its not! It truly is through and through a German-​Turkish doner kebab, sauerkraut and all! Spitfire is truly consistent with the street-​food german/​turkish immigrant style of doner kebab, traditionally eaten on the run at grab and go places such as this. The meat is shaved off with a ridiculously hideous razor (no respectable Turk would pull this stunt in Turkey), but who cares. I can appreciate the convenience! I would totally recommend this establishment to anyone in the area, and the proximity to the beach makes a good alternative to other *ahem* sandwich places.

Spitfire is one of those places I would’ve never found without Unilocal!Having recently visited Belgium, I was super excited that I could find a doner kebab a short walk away from work. Since the place is pretty new, they’ve made a few changes to their menu since they opened. (I’m hoping they bring back some of their original items I never got to try!)
The first thing I tried here was a doner kebab, which is just a delicious sandwich. The bread is soft and warm, the meat (chicken or beef carved from a spit) is flavorful, and all the toppings are fresh. When I first visited, I was sad they didn’t have the delicious Belgian fries I longed for after leaving Belgium. However, they’ve since added fries to their menu (though I’ve yet to try them in an effort to be healthy). The rice bowls are my new favorite item, using a base of a turmeric brown rice and topped with your choice of meat and toppings and a variety of sauce options. They also have a fry bowl (on my list for the near future), which is the same concept as the rice bowl with French fries as the base. Their hummus is also tasty and so are their chocolate chip cookies, baked fresh every day!
Spitfire also lets you accumulate points through the Five Stars app, which offers some great perks for repeat customers. I find this restaurant to be extremely reasonably priced for the area, especially considering the amount of food they give you. The space is small, but has some bar seating along the window and a few tables outside. The employees are super friendly, helpful in explaining their menu and helping you make decisions, and also let you try samples of the foods so you be certain of what you are ordering. I definitely recommend checking out Spitfire if you are in SoBe! I’m not sure how late they are open, but I’m sure this would be delicious after a late night of fun!

Been back here over 10x now and keeps getting better! Finally met the owner last night and what an awesome dude.
DAMN!!! This place is amazing! Been here 3x in a week. Each time seems to get better! The wraps are massive and the bowls are great too. Everything there is very fresh! Anyone will love this place. 100% perfect.

I’m flipping through the reviews here and this place may be worth another shot if I manage to order the right thing. Ordered the kebab wrap to go and was not impressed. Meat was flavorless and the wrap was dry. Felt like I was eating a pseudo burrito. Perhaps I’ve had delicious Turkish food in Germany for a fraction of the price, but to call this place Turkish food would be the equivalent of calling Chipotle a Mexican restaurant. Missed the mark for me.
Perhaps with the next 20% off coupon through a Unilocal check-​in, I can check out the döner or rollo instead. I don’t want to give up on this place and demote it to being called sh*tfire.

They now have delivery, outdoor seating and are in process of getting beer and wine! WOO HOO!!!

The bread they use on their sandwiches is amazing and very unique! Like a cross between a French roll and a pita. I’ve never had anything quite like it.
We popped in for a quick lunch and our mouths were watering just walking in and smelling and seeing the meats roasting on the spits.
They have a bit of the Subway type thing going for sandwich toppings and you can get as many of their toppings on your sandwich as you want.
I wish there was one where we live!

Eigentlich denkt man ja, man muss im Urlaub, weit weg von zu Hause und vor allem nicht in Deutschland, keinen Döner essen… doch, muss man und zwar echt bei Spitfire!
Mega cool eingerichteter Laden, super nettes Personal, total netter Chef!
Das Lokal hat meiner Meinung nach ziemlich perfekt den Spagat zwischen US Style und europäischen Lifestyle geschafft! In der Auslage findet sich einmal die uns allseits bekannte Salatauslage und einmal so ein bisschen exotische Toppings. Man kann seinen Döner also auch mit Mais etc belegen lassen. Man merkt bei jedem Bissen, dass alle Zutaten frisch sind und ich glaube sogar, es war auch frischer Mais!
Zum Fleisch kann ich sagen: super lecker! Ich hatte Beef und weder Knorpel, noch Fett dabei!
Die Preise sind absolut fair und alles frisch! Was mich besonders beeindruckt hat, war eigentlich das unfassbar knusprige und leckere Brot und das der Döner überhaupt nicht fettig war. Absolute Kaufempfehlung!!!

I was expecting to be disappointed with Spitfire as I haven’t found authentic Doners in most cities I’ve visited in the US. Was definitely NOT expecting to find them in Miami.
The menu of course is nice and simple, doner, rollo, salads, platters. Didn’t want to get too creative so I just went for the beef Doner with everything plus Feta Cheese. The fresh bread is definitely the key here. You can tell it’s baked on the same day and it makes quite the difference! The price is super reasonable for that deliciousness. Don’t be thrown off by the «fire sauce», it’s really not that spicy, but does add a little kick of flavor.
Looking forward to a new location closer to home! May I suggest Wynwood, Brickell, Downtown maybe?
