This bar was one of my favorite bars. I decided to check this place out cause I heard it had gotten a face-lift and cause I haven’t been here in awhile. The bar looks cleaner than its ever been. But I wish the service and the food was better. I went with a friend and ordered the dolphin wrap, my friend ordered there homemade chili. The dolphin was over cooked and dry also the Caesar dressing wasn’t tasty at all. The chili shared the same fate. It was tasteless. My friend had to add salt and hot sauce to it. I also wasn’t to fond of the new owner. He seemed offended when I told him about the food. I was polite and told him I wasn’t looking for a discount. I may give the place another chance since I live nearby but it’s going to take a while to get this bad taste out of my mouth.

So I love this place and while it is family owned I feel that honesty is the best policy. The atmosphere is great bar style. It is family friendly but think sports grill. They have got a large bar with a number of beer selection. I’m obsessed with their cheese sticks and French fries. They are simply delicious. I had a turkey club recently and it was amazing so good and they did not hold back on meat and bacon(my fav). Large portion I could not finish it all. With a mountain of fries in the middle. We also had the honey blacked wings such a good flavor. I know they recently modified the recipe and while I prefer salty I was honestly licking my fingers. The family owned atmosphere is amazing with birthday celebrations and free dessert if your lucky to experience it for all their guests. They really love their customers and treat them like extended family! Be sure to stop by and say hi to Robert and Claudia. They will welcome you with open arms!

Just reviewed the menu, not a real Irish anything. Just a gimmick. What no Guinness Pie? Stop trying to make a buck off our heritage! Lol

I had wings(medium) and they were really good! Great atmosphere too. I didn’t go during a sports game but it seems like a good place to watch sports with friends. Also, the staff are really friendly. I would definitely return.

I took my wife to eat here last night. It was great we ate well. We were served promptly and we had our beers as we searched the menu for our meals. THEFOOD was out standing a the service was awesome. It is nice to see the old tavern back on its feet.

It’s nice that new owners took over with a nice new menu. The problem is the music and games. They have it too loud where you can barely have a conversation, and they supposedly can’t turn it down. If the sound system was better it would be ok, but what they have has too much treble and not enough bass.

Came here on a Friday for karaōke and the service was absolutely terrible! They only had one waitress for the whole restaurant and she could not keep track of the orders. On top of forgetting my drink, you’d constantly see the waitress parading around tables w/drunk patrons, singing karaōke, and talking on the phone. I won’t even mention how long it took to track down the waitress to bring over our check. Terrible. Avoid at all costs.

Finally ! We found a place with a table available while the heat game was playing ! For good reason… The place is very small and very hard to find. When we walked in, we felt so lucky that there was a table with our names on it. So we sat and waited. and waited, finally our server takes our breakage order, this was in the first quarter of the game. I noticed the place was a full house and they were short on staff. There was one server, and another one passing out the food. We asked the server to take our order for the food, they asked for a few minutes because the kitchen was backed up. We ended up ordering at the end of half time. That’s about a good hour we waited to be taken our order. Since we had our beer and were entertained by the game, we really didn’t mind, until we got our food. We ordered the nachos as an appetizer, it ended up being the last one to arrive at the table. Not only was it last, it was SUPER cold. We weren’t complaining to the server, we were just informing them about it, so they went to the back and found out why. According to the server, our nachos were under a heater that wasn’t plugged in. They were nice enough to take it off the bill. Lastly, the day after I checked my bank statement, I was charged twice for two separate transactions. I called over the phone and was told that they couldn’t do anything about it and they needed to speak to the owner, so I left my name and number. I asked by when should I get a called back, they replied with«Whenever I get the time to speak to him.» I can only assume that the service was like this because it was on a heat game and the place was full and they were short staffed. The place is small and feels homey, but do not go there for a heat game!

The wings are always over cooked, and the only good item on the menu is the chicken bites which come in few quantities

Very close to my neighborhood(10 minutes), so that’s the only reason it gets 2 stars. The buffalo bites are the only thing worth ordering as everything else is definitely«Meh.» The beer prices are also ridiculous($ 10-$ 12/pitcher for domestic). Much better places to frequent…

Kinda hard finding this place, but it’s tucked into the corner secluded from the rest of the strip mall. Gotta say right off the bat, GREATHAPPYHOURDEALS! A selection of about 10 draft beers(American, though) priced at $ 6 per pitcher. What!!! Mother, I’ll have another!!! As far as the food, well — it’s bar food. The jalapeño poppers were decent, didn’t get to try anything else. Atmosphere, it’s a man’s bar. Don’t go in here if you’re expecting to find a date… but then again would you!!! Be back soon!

I don’t know what makes this an Irish Tavern/Pub. There are a few Irish-themed things on the wall but other than that it looks like any other dingy bar. We went for happy hour, and ordered a pitcher of Yuengling. We were shocked to get our bill and discover it isn’t considered a domestic draft(and therefore not eligible for discount pricing), but rather a «premium» draft. The nachos were pretty bad. They only really put toppings on the top layer of chips, so once you ate off the top the rest was basically plain chips. The chips were stale and I had to special request sour cream, though we had been told by the waitress that it came with sour cream and we didn’t have to ask for it. Our waitress disappeared and we had no way to ask for a check until I literally stood up and flagged her down. The absolute worst thing though was the dude with his 3 other guy friends who brought his kids in and then let them run all over the place. Like, 5 – 7 year old boys, running around, screaming, and acting like 5 – 7 year old boys. Not what I wanted to deal with while trying to relax after a long day.

If I drank, this could be my CHEERS. I could see myself frequenting this place till«everybody knows my name». Good food, friendly service, occasional live music, sports on the TVs, and a JUKEBOX! YEAH! Everything you want in a local bar.

This is the best local pub in my neighborhood. And I don’t live in Kendall. There isn’t really much near home that motivates us enough to frequent. So we’ll hop on the Turnpike at 216th, get off at 120th and in 10 – 15 minutes here we are at the Tavern. Traveling 15 minutes to get anywhere in Miami is enough to make you feel like you’re in a episode of «Quantum Leap.» The place has cleaned up nicely. There’s room inside and out, plenty of TVs, a great menu and a steady calendar of events. St. Paddy’s comes to mind immediately, but they also host live bands, game day events and private/semi-private gatherings. Pop in, order a burger and a Blue Moon. Splurge on the juke box and skill crane. You’ve now moved onto the block.

On a «cold» Miami day, I was in the mood for a corned beef sandwich and a Guinness. It was the perfect excuse to go on by and give this place a shot. Very friendly service, cool sportsbar vibe and tasty sandwich. Bill for sandwich with fries and a draft Guinness was $ 14+ before tip. For a simple sandwich on a paper plate that seems spendy to me.

I would not have ventured into this hole-in-the-wall, off the Kendall Dr track if not for Monday Night Football(and no, I don’t watch football), I got suckered into it by my Kendall thug friends.:) They were probably 7 girls in the whole place when I walked in for MNF! The boys got some kind of hook-up where the owner/bartender guy told them they would get half off the check if they spent $ 20 or more… oh please, they were about 10 guys… and they had pitchers left and right! They had chicken fingers and fish sticks and fries, I was told they were good. The check came up to $ 253,(they paid about $ 128 ish???) and everyone stumbled out of there happy and drunk! The owner… Mike? was very attentive, came by to make sure we were never thirsty and of course… he wanted to drink the last toast, except the boys chugged it too quick! Our waiter was cool though! :) Tip-bits: 20 TVs, yes I counted Beer specials for the football season They gave out free tees and beer beads last night!

I only come here a couple of times a year, but you can find me there on St Patrick’s Day guaranteed! This hole-in-the-wall at the Crossings shopping center hosts what is probably the biggest St Patty’s Day celebration in Kendall. They close down part of the parking lot, set up tons of tables, and go to town! They serve green beer, irish food favorites, and have live music all night. The best part about this place for me is that I can walk there from my house, so I don’t have to worry about the drunkenness on the roads that day. I love it here!
