Moderno Churrascaria Aboard Norwegian Star

For a specialty Brazilian-​style steakhouse restaurant situated aboard the Norwegian Star, Moderno Churrascaria has it all. Sleek contemporary design, comfortable seating, excellent service, and a succession of fine protein greet diners here.
To begin, a number of fetching starters were spread out like a buffet, including Seafood Chowder, Marinated Hearts of Palm, Orietta & Shrimp, Brie, slices of Parmesan Cheese, Black and Green Olives, and very rich and tomatoey Portuguese Bean Soup.
After downing these selected apps, the parade of meats began. Costela de Carneiro (Rib Lamb Chops), followed by Filet Mignon, Garlic Beef & Sea Salt marinated in garlic, Picanha Sirloin, Chicken Breast wrapped in Hardwood Smoked Peppered Bacon, Chorizo (Spanish Sausages with Red Wine & Parmesan Cheese), Costela (slow cooked tender and juicy Beef Ribs), Costela de Suino (Pork Ribs marinated in Red Wine and spices), Churrasco de Frango com Bacon (Chicken Legs marinated in lime juice, Sea Salt, and garlic, and wrapped in bacon), and Linguica (Portuguese Sausages flavored with heavy garlic). All items were well cooked and tasty, along with included sides of Buttered Rice, Black Beans, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Fried Sweet Bananas.
But the show was not over. I was asked if I would like to also try Cod steamed with Red and Green Peppers and Onions in a Banana Leaf, and accepted. The dish was delicate and first rate. I slowly finished with some Mango Rice Pudding, and then Diane and I waddled out of the dining room side by side in a meat-​induced haze.
