University Coin Laundry

I started going here because the location was convenient– what a mistake. In one load I had a bra strap ripped off and my favorite silk white shirt turned a gross beige color. Even worse than the actual offense is that they just folded up these items, put them back in my bag, and sent me on my way WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING. I wouldn’t be so upset if they would have just owned up to the mistakes and tried to make them right. They obviously don’t care though.

All I want to do is my laundry and get the hell out! I dont come to hurt anyone or do anything bad but the lady that runs/​owns this place is NASTY! Her husband (I assume) is the more agreeable one. I have been to this location about 4x and I will not be going back. Not that she would care.
When I started coming to this place I tried to smile and say hi when I came in but always got a dirty look. Didn’t pay it any attention b/​c I figured maybe she just wasn’t the friendly type.
She has rushed me out of the place twice already when I came to do only two loads of laundry. She would check the time on my dryer and announce how much time I had left as if I could only stay for that amount of time.
She has moved my clothes from the folding table in the back to another table while I was removing my clothes from the washer. The final straw was when I wanted to use a dryer that was available. She «shooed’ me away from the dryer and then signaled to another woman to come use it while saying something in spanish to her. Again, I don’t know what this woman’s deal is but she clearly doesn’t want customers outside of the immediate community. Ergo I will not be going back nor would I ever recommend this place. There are plenty of other places around with better facilities and friendlier service.
