Us Post Office

The times I have needed assistance here it’s been a pleasant experience, nothing too painful. Everything that I have mailed here has been delivered more or less safely. Definitely appreciate it!

Horrible horrible!!! If this is the closest post office to your house and you must drive 10 miles out of your way to go to another one — go to another one! It will be the best decision of your life! The «I don’t know anything about your package» and «money back guarantee? We don’t do that here.» Attitude are prevalent here. After one of their workers screwed up my package, and the package was sent everywhere but the destination, I came in for a money back guarantee on priority shipping. The response of the bully who I assume is the one in charge, which makes sense bc the branch is a disaster, was «we don’t do that here»… I suppose the Felix varela branch goes by their own established rules, not by the ones set by the USPS. DO NOT GO TO THIS BRANCH!!! Unless you like to be treated like garbage…

If I could give no stars I would! I have been fighting back and forth for a package that cost me $ 50.00 & the tracking keeps saying out for delivery in my zip code. I went to my post office today to ask about it, the woman in the front looked for package and said I should be receiving it today. She asked me what it was and I told her that it was earrings to which she responded «ohh so does it really matter» & I was pissed and responded it matters to me, its $ 50 & its my package! Omg i am so livid! Get your items shipped to your job! Far away from this USPS office!!!

In general, I hate going to the post office. But there’s something about this one that I like. I don’t know if it’s the people the way they treat you or if it’s quicker than others. But what I have found is that I walk into this one and walk out within 15 mins. For the post office this and better is a blaze. Not even during the holidays do I spend more than 15 mins in this post office. I moved out of the area so I really actually miss going there as opposed to the one I go to now. I have now opted for going to the postal annex that’s on 107^th and Kendall.

Horrible service. You are not doing me a favor I am paying you so that you can keep a job and nice retirement. Stop being rude to customers.

So after 2 weeks of waiting for my passport, guess what?
Everything got returned to me.
I’m sorry but this «passport» center should really just do anyone seeking passport help a favor and close down.
My two friends also had a horrible experience here seeking passport advice and help.

Worst customer service I have ever Experienced. I called over 20 times about a package that was at their facility «undeliverable.» When I FINALLY got an answer the first employee told me my package was shipped back to sender, I asked for a supervisor and he told me the package was still there… when I arrived to pick it up the employee I got told me it was gone again and walked away. I had to yell into the back until the supervisor came out and eventually gave me my package… WTF?!? Anywhere else these folks would get FIRED… no wonder the USPS is closing so many facilities. I’m a govt employee as well, and this is NOT acceptable. Armando Marcelo was the supervisor and was worse that his employees…
If you can avoid this post office do it.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE! Do not waste your time coming here. The first review was absolutely correct! The people at this post office are unprofessional, loud, rude, nasty, and they care more about their conversations than anything else. They do not upkeep this place at all! It is dirty, the ceiling has leaks, there are bugs all over the place both inside and outside. Years ago a storm broke a branch off one of the trees in the front at the same branch is hanging there. They never replace the boxes or envelopes that they are supposed to have sitting out. I hate this place and try to avoid it at all costs. I had a PO Box there and I closed it but luckily never experienced any theft issues like the first reviewer did. Also, I called customer service for the post office and reported all the issues mentioned above plus numerous other issues I have had with them and of course if seems like they did not do a darn thing. I go to a local store and ship everything instead of this place. Go somewhere else!

This post office is by far one of the worst ones I have ever been to. You’ll be lucky to be serviced if the employees are busy chatting and even luckier if they come off like they give a damn once you do get helped.
For the most part, I am only there to pick up mail from my p.o. box (thank God)
Also, my girlfriend had her car broken into while picking up her mail one day. This happened all in the short amount of time it took her to walk in and grab mail (roughly 1 – 2 minutes AT MOST). This leads me to believe that whoever robbed her was no novice to burglary, and when she walked in to report it, the employees said it happens all the time but there is nothing they can do because there are only cameras at the front of the store and since it is federal property, the local police can’t do anything, which means you will have to wait until the nearest fed gets there.
If you can avoid this post office, you’d be doing yourself a favor.
