I love Palacio, they do good Cuban Sandwiches and empenadas. Aside from these they have an awesome selection of precooked meals including fish, chicken, beef and pork. The service is largely only in Spanish, but on occasion you’ll find someone that will speak English. Prices are very good with everything under $ 10.

My boyfriend and I were driving back home from the Everglades and decided to stop by for a quick juice. He ordered the passion fruit juice(which was extremely sour — not really my cup of tea), and I got the traditional mango juice. I was very pleased with my choice, you can really taste the freshness of the fruit. For me, the mango juice was a little more on the sweeter side, giving our tastes two extremes of the spectrum. I’d definitely come back for the mango juice, but not for the passion fruit. What I really liked from the restaurant was that they had on display all the different fruits they use to make their smoothies. If I can best describe it, it’d be that of a farmers market. The restaurant not only specializes in juices, but also in different Hispanic foods, making it a good all-around restaurant.

Over the years they have gotten a little pricey but the food is always delicious. The service is great and they are gracious for the tips. The parking is sometimes a bit of a hassle but the customers are mostly in and out so the wait isn’t too long. My favorite is the congri and their arroz con leche! Yummmm

I used to take pride in saying that I lived close to «El Palacio de los Jugos» This used to be a place where it the parking was an issue and customers had to park in the shopping center next to them due to their traffic. I heard rumors that this branch was sold and with the new Management, there seems to be a change as well. The reason why I’m giving this business a 2 stars it’s by following Unilocal caption where 2 stars means«Meh, I’ve experienced better» This location used to offer two types of tamales. This location now doesn’t believe in lines, you get there and try to squeeze yourself in with the rest of the customers and claim that you are next when the next available server yells at the crowd. I find this too vulgar and it cause friction with the customers. If you don’t agree with me, try going on a Thanksgiving afternoon, New Year’s Eve or any known day that most of the people will gather at the house and share a meal with family. Things I wish they change: The attitude in some of the employees, I feel the same way when you go to a government office. It feels like they don’t want you there. The difference is that you have other options and I prefer to drive to other locations to avoid them unless I’m in a hurry like I was yesterday. And please, maybe a number system to move the line like civilized places.

Bring a translator and you might get what you ordered without it going to someone with better Spanish. We got there and it was slow, ordered chicharones and was told 10 minutes. 20 minutes later, a tray comes out and the whole thing goes to a guy who came in well after us but was able to chat up the girls. Them they have the nerve to tell me it’s another 15 minutes cause she heard wrong and it wasn’t 10 minutes?!? Anyway, now I remember why I haven’t been here in 10 years…

This place is terrible. Don’t get me wrong the other one on Flagler is amazing!!! This one used to be amazing. It was packed all the time and the food was delicious until the owner switched or something. The food is absolutely terrible!!! I don’t know why they would change something that worked so well! When I last went the people were rude and the food looked un-cared for. I live right by this place and feel terrible that it has changed.

I am giving this place A star(just one) because I went in expecting to see something completely different to what I saw. As soon as I walked in I was disgusted. Flies everywhere, no visible menu, and dirty floors. I did not last more than two minutes in there. I had never been to El Palacio de Los Jugos, but this location was very disappointing for me. I am going to give other locations a chance, but this one disgusted me completely.

The food is okay here but they have a huge variety of it and even fruit juices. You can find a fish dish here on relatively cheap prices. I always get the grilled grouper with some lime on it and onions and it tasted good and fresh. The picadillo here is good but if you get their late in the afternoon it gets dried out so better get there early afternoon to get the fresh stuff. They stop the food after 5 i think so whatever is left on the counter thats all you are getting. Their soups are delicious and so as their side dishes like the yucca, fried plaintains, and the crunchy plaintains. Coming in here sometimes i get a big surprised finding stuff that i couldn’t find it anywhere. They have a mini store for pastry and fruits so can shop at the same time for fruits or for desserts. This is a best place for families who doesnt want to spend a whole lot for dinner. You get a lot of food for your money here. I only come here whenever I visit my in-laws, they lived nearby to it.

Want fresh tropical fruit juices?! This is your place. Traveling to South America I kinda got hooked on constantly drinking natural fresh fruit juices. This place offers a large variety of freshly made juices. The names may vary by country but requesting them in English is what I always do. My favorite is the mango and watermelon. Cold a fresh juice mmmm. ideal for a hot day like the days we have ahead. They also have a killer Pan con Bistec(Steak Sandwich) and other Cuban foods. During the holiday season the have a roasted pork kiosk that make probably the most amazing Pan con Lechon(Roast pork sandwich) I’ve ever had. Great place for Cuban comfort food. Outdoor seating available but I recommend you just get it to go.

I was expecting something totally different and was a little let down walking into this place. There were signs for churros — and inside there were none to be found and the server behind the counter was almost rude to me because I asked about them. It was EXTREMELY difficult to order anything in English! And there weren’t that many juices to choose from.

A plate of black beans & rice, picadillo, and maduros. A side order of tamal. An appetite eager for anything after a long bike ride. What can go wrong? Oh boy… The black beans & rice was a soupy mixture of dyed purple water with a few beans lazily thrown in. The picadillo was very greasy, apparently I was looking at the dry ‘tip of the iceberg’ when I ordered but the server’s ladle dipped below the water line. Not much imagination on the tamal; a tasteless impostor with play dough texture and with the taste to match(I did eat play dough once as a child). On the bright side the maduros were right on target and the servers were friendly.

I’m adding some stars cause there’s been changes! Customer service was on point today by two different employees!!! That’s a miracle but I’m not complaining! And hey’ve also done some reorganizing… pictures below show it to be tidy compared to my last visit. All in all between my timbita and my watermelon juice… I was a happy girl!

«El palacio De Los Jugos» is more like a fast food business than an actual restaurant. If your looking for the whole, wine and dine experience, this isn’t the place to go. If you’re looking for a quick hot meal that’s cheap, adorable and«home cooked» this is a perfect place to go. When you come in you see fruits, desserts and lots of food displayed out. Food choices: churrasco, shrimp, ropa vieja, all types of rices, mash potato basically any type of Cuban food you can imagine. They also have different types of Hispanic desserts. You make the line and the lady attends you, depending on the time of day lines could be very large. Basically, First come first serve. You can get a combo that contains two sides for $ 8 mix and match between rice, vegetables but only one meat or seafood of your choice. Food I ordered was ropa vieja(beef shredded) with white rice comes with a side of beans and mash potato. The food was very tasty and you can share any combo, they serve sooo much food. The portions are HUGE. I was unable to finish the whole plate honestly two more people could have eaten from there. Sitting is outside, not the cleanest or neatest of restaurant so I suggest you take it to go and just eat at home Staff, this is your typical Cuban restaurant so prepare to be faced with a lot of Hispanic staff that don’t really communicate in English. Just point to what you like they will serve you and enjoy your food :) Reason for my 3 stars: not very clean, staff not too friendly but the food really is good and bold in flavor. Plus for $ 8 for all that food it’s worth it.

I definitely agree with Blue A.: Don’t come here if you don’t speak Spanish, or at least have enough to get by! My husband and I(between the two of us) possess just the minimum amount needed for El Palacio. We were able to say, «What kind of juices do you have?» And then, «Mango please. Orange please.» Hey, it worked! Our fresh juices were delicious and very reasonably priced, but we also decided that we could easily have made them at home. The food looks AMAZING but we didn’t try it. There’s everything you could wish for… tamales, loads of meat, all kinds of rice and beans, cafeteria style. Then there are fruits, dried fish, and other random foods in the grocery area. We sat outside briefly, but this was one of those«Feels like 97 degrees» kinds of days. We plan to come back on a day that we’re reaaally hungry! Note: $ 5 minimum for credit cards. There are little chocolates right by the register 2 for $ 1 just in case you’re right below the min.

It’s more than juice here. They have all the Spanish variety of foods here. Roast pork, yellow rice and chicken, moros, fried rice, and everything you can imagine you’ve eaten in your abuela’s house over the years. I’ve tried the jugo de mamey and the Moros and pork. Not bad. It was pretty good. If your in miami give it a try. They have many locations. Eat out in the open or take it home. You won’t be disappointed.

When you’re looking to feed yourself, your family, your next fiestecita,(or all three the same time) Palacio de los Jugos may be the way to go. It’s your typical Cuban and/or Central American food made in large quantities. Don’t expect subtle flavors or tender aromas here. It’s quick and easy food ready for the unexpected guests that showed up at your house for that boxing match tonight. If you’re looking to feed yourself, the completas are your best bargain. Hearty portions of the day’s specials with two«acompañantes»(sides) like white rice, fried plantains, red or black beans, tostones, yucca, potatoes, etc… These range from $ 7.00-$ 11.00 and are enough food for two days. Feeding the multitudes? If you’re in a pinch because they showed up without any notice(like some people I know) you can get large portions by the pound. Because there is such high turnover, you know the food will be fresh and hot when you bring it home. If you had some advance warning(and didn’t get the urge to leave town), you can order with a few days notice and get a better price on the food. Overall, it’s not what I would call a sit down restaurant. It’s more of a «Mom didn’t feel like cooking tonight, so Dad is picking up dinner» kind of place. There’s a plastic bucket on top of the counters with«PROPINAS» written in bold letters… This means, TIPS. Leave a few bucks for the ladies please!

Jugo de Mamey = heaven in a cup. I get the one with water and fruit. No milk, please. We stop here on the way to Shark Valley OR after a long ride to ‘re-energize’. No matter the time of day, un Jugo de mamey will make all things better. Happy juicin’

Mango shake. This is the first time I visited this place and near Christmas was kind of crazy. The line for special orders was out into the parking lot. Next to the main entrance is a stand with whole roast pigs and people were buying it either by the pound or as pan con lechon. I was tempted but opted for a media noche, order of mariquitas and a guarapo. Heaven! 12÷22÷13
