A Dunkin in the gas station. Vermont loves this layout it seems. I pulled in here ready for a coffee and happily found one. The employees were pleasant. The coffee was hot. Didn’t notice if there was a drive thru.

You never know what you’re going to get when you order coffee at D&D, that’s a given. But the service there s.u.c.k. I haven’t experienced any short-tempered workers, my experience is that every time I go there they get a simple order wrong and I tend to order the same type of coffee, its just always done wrong, not to mention they are WAY unorganized.

Throughout my summer in Middlebury, VT, I visited this Dunkin Donuts enough times to be able to know that the folks working there are less than excited about what they’re doing. They’re teenagers and college-age kids, but they’re in a hurry and are impatient as heck with the guests. It is inside a gas station, but there’s also a drive-thru for all the folks heading through town on a quick vacation run. Like all DDs, the coffee is hit or miss. Sometimes it tastes like there’s something wrong with the water, and other times the coffee is absolutely outstanding. I never had the pastries, but the prices are average and the nice thing is that you can buy a cheapo snack from the gas station while you’re in there. Just don’t expect good service. Or friendly service for that matter. I went in there once and the guy was losing it. The girl at the gas station counter actually asked him this. There was 1 hour and 15 minutes left till close and he was literally flipping out about everything. Breathe, dude.
