Awesome Chocolate! Also, my wife said she had the best Mocha she’s ever had and that’s saying something. She’s tried a lot of Mochas and was a Barista so do yourself a favor and stop by!

I’ve never had truffles quite like these. There should almost be a whole, new word for these delectable morsels of chocolate goodness — the old word«truffle» does not quite do them justice. Let me start by saying I am not a huge chocolate fan. I mean, I’ll eat it and like it, I even crave it once in a while… but I am not a fanatic. If all chocolates tasted like these, I’d be converted. They had five different kinds, and each was excellent: classic dark, sea salt, traditional spiced(my favorite), cardamom-vanilla, and three chili. The flavors were bold but not overbearing, complimenting the not-to-sweet chocolate to let the coca shine through. But what I really loved was the texture. Almost like a very good mochi(Japanese rice cake), but not as sticky, they had a subtly chewy bite to them. In addition to their house-made truffles, they offer a variety of high-end choclate bars, which I did not try, but of which have uploaded pictures for your benefit. The also offer an array of desserts, which we did not try this time. Tiramisu($ 4⁄6), for example, or tres leches($ 4⁄6) and flan($ 5.) There were several students there, tapping on their laptops, connected, no doubt, to the complimentary WiFi. Furnishings were sparse, but it could get homier over time. This is a fantastic place, and I wish for the them all sorts of success. If you come to Middlebury, VT, don’t miss this hidden gem.
