The food was cold. It was one of the worst big boys we have been to. The French toast was like hockey puck. The servers was nice but she stood around talking to people a lot. If you are paying 12.99 for the buffet the food should be hot not cold & nasty. Plus they should have smiles on there face.

Mediocre food for the price. The staff tries to engage in mindless smalltalk rather than waiting on customers. If you are put on a waiting list, don’t be surprised if the waitstaff forgets about you as they seat customers that came in after you. The Inside is clean enough. Besides being disorganized, the staff are otherwise polite and professional. The waiting area can be cramped at times.

I just returned to Big Boy while on vacation yesterday morning. My husband and I ordered their new Boston Crème Pie pancake thing with eggs. We split it because we had a wedding and reception and didn’t want to get full on breakfast. The waitress was really nice (as always!) and when we told her we were sharing it, she brought it out cut in half! Both eggs and pancakes! I thought that was really sweet! Very nice service, and AWESOME breakfast. I woudl have eaten that whole thing by myself if it was just for me — it was so, so good. I hope it’s not seasonal because it was AMAZING!

I actually would give it 2 ½ stars if I could. Both food and service are very inconsistent. Fairly recent menu changes have reduced portion sizes and/or raised prices. This is a decent place to go if you want a basic meal, but ask if the fries have been sitting for a while.
