This is a little hidden gem. Great pizza we have two bar pies one gluten free. I also had the tortolini which was excellent. Will definitely be back

This was a decent place for dinner out with friends. I dunno, I just thought it was okay. It wasn’t bad, it wasn’t great, it was just meh. I had mozzarella sticks(haha!) and chicken parm. The sticks were kinda like most places, I think: bought in bulk, frozen. Hardly any flavor. The accompanying marinara sauce was only remarkable in that it was just as bland as the sticks. The pasta that came with the parm was good, but again, the sauce was just blah. Eventually a puddle of liquid formed under my pasta. The chicken parm was nicely done, instead of a huge single chunk of meat, it was two thin pieces. Nicely topped with mozzarella. But there was something amiss with the flavor, and I can’t quite put my finger on it. Portions for my 3 dining companions were huge. Mine? Not so much. The dining area is very, uh, provincial. What I liked was the ambience. We were there early, the only diners in the restaurant. Eventually a few other tables were taken. It was very quiet the entire time, so that was perfect for me. Service was excellent. Our server was professional and just friendly enough to make me feel welcome. Everything arrived pretty quick and steaming hot. I chose this place because of all the rave reviews. I suspect that many reviews were based on the pizza. I happened to glance at another table that had ordered pizza, and wow… the pizza looks incredibly good. I regret not getting one :-/The crust looked so thin, were I not careful about my caloric intake, I think I could eat one by myself. I’ve already decided that I’ll be getting a takeout pizza soon. Maybe a stromboli with it, just to make it worth the drive, haha. Oink. Bottom line: it’s worth visiting to check it out for yourself.

I love The Little York and I am so glad it’s only a few miles from my home! Plenty of great people and I always run into people from high school and more. The food is amazing, everything is homemade and you can totally tell. The average price of an entrée is around $ 15 which is totally reasonable because you get a side salad or soup as well as a side. Plenty of options; everything from steaks, eggplant parm, lobster ravioli, veal osso bucco, and more. The pizza is a really awesome and they use a nice thin crust which you really can’t find anywhere out here. Really reminds me of pizza from Brooklyn. The service is great. Love sitting at the bar with friends or at a table with a group of people. I’ve been served by both Brett and Mary and they were so entertaining. They genuinely care about what they do and making sure everyone has a nice experience, which is pretty hard to find when it comes to service these days. A great places on the weekend as well as weekdays with groups both small and large. Check out the Little York of you are into GOOD food, a nice comfortable atmosphere, and value for your dollar. Check it out!

I love this restaurant and it is starting to become a weekly tradition. A neighbor brought me here for my first time, and had such great homemade food, that I just keep coming back. I follow them on Facebook, where they helpfully post their weekend specials usually on Thursdays, and decide whether or not they’re of any interest to me(they usually are!) I have eaten my way through the regular menu and the bar menu, both of which are quite delicious! Their pizzas are super yummy and the prices are great! Their bar pies, are plenty large enough to feed two or three people, and the large is more than sufficient to feed a family of four comfortably. Last night, I went because I was dying to try their shepherds pie special, and my friend wanted to try their always delicious homemade ravioli. Needless to say, we were not at all disappointed with our choices, as well as our go to appetizer of the fresh mozzarella, which differently than a lot of restaurants we’ve been to, is legitimately fresh and is sized larger than most, so you actually get what you paid for. I personally think the prices are slightly low for the amount of food you actually get, so they get another point for that. It’s a great atmosphere for a casual dinner for two, or a dinner for a larger group. All the waitresses are super friendly, and Mary the bartender is always ready for a great conversation. For me, it definitely helps that it’s only five minutes away, so we don’t have to go very far for delicious comfort food. Definitely one of my first recommendations to anyone who wants to have a nice meal for a good price!

I have been to the Little York a few times, and have sat at the bar. Always a good time, but never felt compelled to write a review until this past weekend, when a friend of mine and I brought our kids and girlfriends for lunch. We really had a great time. There were only a couple people at the bar, being the middle of the day on Saturday, and we were the only ones in the dining room. But our waitress, who was really great, made us feel right at home with a pitcher of beer and two really great pizzas. The kids, both 4, had an excellent time as well. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone. Worth the trip.

Food was great, and our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The bar area was more appealing than the dining room, which was a bit dated. Regardless, this is a great local hangout with tasty food, good prices, and friendly faces. We will be back!

This is a quaint family owned restaurant and bar… There are always a few locals at the bar that’ll smile and say hello when you walk in because that’s just how it is around there lol. The pizza has actually gotten much better then when I first moved to the area about a year ago, it was good but now it’s reeeeeally good! The rest of the menu is decent, but the pizza is the only thing I’ve gotten that I would get again. The prices are a little high, but it’s worth the extra few bucks for the good food, great service, and homey atmosphere.

We are regulars, at least once a week! the Little York has now become our Wednesday night place, usually one of the pizza’s or cheese steaks. Everything and anything is excellent!

Great food and an efficient friendly staff. We’ve eaten there many times over the years and you just can’t beat the food and the value. The owners and staff work hard to make you feel welcomed. The bar tender is knowledgeable and attentive and your glass rarely stays empty.
