First encountered this brand at the Christmas Craft Fair this past December(2014). Walked up to their booth and decided to purchase a hat and a shirt. Came back the next day and purchased a few more shirts. Lets just say, that I now own enough VH07V Shirts to last me 2 weeks. The shirts are made of great material that does not tear or rip easily. I wanted to write a review for this company because of the ALOHASPIRIT they showed me and my company that I work for. I work for a non-profit organization that houses teenage boys with substance abuse and or behavioral issues. Since we are a 24 hour 7 days a week facility, the boys in our program do not get the chance to go home for the holidays. This year, I decided to reach out to VH07V and ask if they would be willing to donate a few shirts to the boys for the holidays. I wrote an email giving them a taste of what type of work I do and how I love spreading the Aloha Spirit myself. In an instant, I got a response stating that they would be more than happy to donate shirts to the boys in my program. The communication was smooth between the owner and myself and the day before Christmas, I wrapped the donations and gave it to the boys. When they opened the gifts on Christmas morning, the smiles on their faces were huge and genuine. I have never seen the boys so happy. The boys voiced how cool it was that a local company was giving Aloha to complete strangers. This review is not only about their products but also the size of this company’s heart. I have recommended this brand to many people. Even my office staff purchased some shirts online to rock out in local gear. Support Local and buy this brand. You wont regret it.

My 145th review! I wanted it to be somewhat special so VH07V gets the honor :) VH07V is the bomb diggity! I recently picked up a couple of their shirts at the last Night Market of the year. I’ve been following the clothing line after coming across it on Instagram as well as seeing at my favorite Japanese food truck, Yajima-Ya. The owner of Yajima-Ya kindly gave my partner in crime a free sticker which got my curiosity peaked. I started to check out their products and decided I’d pick up some shirts at their events. However, the busyness of life got in the way, and I almost missed my opportunity for 2014. Luckily I made it down to the Night Market and to their stall. It was super crowded. I’d say much more than other vendors. The VH07V crew was very patient with everyone and answered all of our questions. I was able to score shirts on a 2 for $ 30 special. I didn’t score free stickers(loyal customers who wore their shirts that night got a sticker) but I bought some anyway to rock on my hydroflask. I’m debating buying more to rock on my car. :) I bought a shirt for my brother who was visiting from Arizona for Christmas. When I was about to wrap his present, I realized the shirt had a fairly large hole under the right arm. I panicked but contacted VH07V the day before Christmas in hopes of exchanging my product. I didn’t expect a reply, but low and behold, the owner, Ed, messaged me almost immediately after my plea. He was super accommodating, apologized for the shirt and offered to meet me to exchange the product. I didn’t even realize that he was the individual who sold me the shirts at Night Market. Super nice! My brother was excited for his shirt and even ordered some of their polos and stickers to rock in Arizona. :) I love the message behind VH07V’s products. «Whenever you wear the shirt, the VH07V sits right over your heart. When you look down at your heart, the ALOHA presents itself very clearly. Every time you wear your shirt or see someone else wearing theirs, it is our daily reminder to keep ALOHA in our hearts»

VH07V is a unique surf/skate clothing brand local to Hawaii. I first heard of VH07V while on-line looking at some other local clothing brands. VH07V is actually ALOHA upside-down. Why would you want it upside-down you ask? This message from the brand’s founder explains it best: «The significance of VH07V… When you wear VH07V, the logo sits perfectly over your heart. Looking down, it is meant to be a daily reminder to keep ALOHA in our hearts. It is our hope that this simple reminder will help to perpetuate the ALOHA spirit to everyone we come in contact with in our daily lives, one individual at a time… Here’s to the start of the VH07V Revolution!» SELECTION VH07V has a variety of tees and tanks for both guys as well as the ladies, and even a few for the keiki(kids), hats(Fitted, Snapbacks, Truckers, Flexfits), hoodies, and even stickers — all sporting the VH07V logo/brand name. Honestly, what really sold me on the brand were the hats, particularly the ones with the small VH07V logos on them. The sharp design of the VH07V logo in its custom font on those hats has a clean, perfect look. STAFF The founder of the VH07V brand is Edward Sugimoto. Ed rocks! One day, I decided it was time to order some of those hats with the small logos. However, I wanted to see if they might make them in Flexfit style with a curved visor instead of the flat visor on Fitteds. So I posed that very question through the Contact form on their website. Within a few hours, I got a response from Ed. If I could specify the exact style and color combos I wanted, he could try to run it custom for me. To make a long story short, after a lot of questions from me over the course of a few weeks about available Flexfit styles and shipment timing, I got my custom Flexfits for a good price(more about price below) with my requested Saturday delivery. Ed dealt with all my questions, worked with his suppliers and fulfillment team, and delivered perfectly. LOCATION There’s no actual VH07V store. If you’re in Hawaii, you can find them at various fairs and events throughout the year like Rice Fest. Follow them on social media(FB, Twitter, etc…) for announcements about events they’re attending. You can also get some VH07V gear at CGear in Aloha Stadium during Warriors games. If you’re not in Hawaii like me, just hit up the on-line store PRICE VH07V prices are really good. Basic tees and tanks range from $ 17 to $ 20 each, although there are a few ladies racerbacks that are $ 25. Hats range from $ 20 to $ 25 each. My two Flexfits were $ 25 each, a great price especially considering they were custom. I know I’ve paid more than that for the same Flexfit style hats(non-custom) elsewhere.

.I love these threads! I picked up a couple T’s at the Ukulele Picnic last year from their booth there, and I’ve been wearing those two shirts disproportionately more than any of my other T’s! OHYEAH! + High quality T’s + Huge variety of color combinations + Several different designs and styles + Hats and stickers too! + Spreading the VH07V one shirt at a time! + Buy in person at their event booths, or online OHNO! — No permanent storefront just yet OHMY?! * «What does VH07V mean anyway?» Turn it over 180 degrees to the left or right, and it spells ALOHA!!! !Mind blown! I first started seeing/hearing about this brand online. Ever since seeing that I knew I wanted one. It wasn’t until I was checking out the Ukulele Picnic last year that I had a chance to come across their booth, and I made sure to pick up a couple shirts and a cap! I even got some free stickers for my purchase! Unfortunately, they don’t have a brick-and-mortar store just yet, but if you follow their social media outlets you shouldn’t have any problem finding their booths at street festivals and events, like SPAM Jam, Rice Fest, or some craft fairs. You can also get your VH07V gear from their online store. I also love the message that Ed(the owner) is trying to convey with his brand: «A Hawaii lifestyle clothing line with purpose… Anybody who has any association with Hawaii knows the concept of ALOHA, but sometimes we forget. When you wear a VH07V shirt, the logo goes right over your heart. Whenever you look down at your heart you’ll be reminded to keep ALOHA in your heart…» That’s why when people tell me my design on my shirt is upside-down, I look down at it, and say, «No, it’s not. It says ‘ALOHA’ to me.»
