Every time I go to Mikonos, I’m pleasantly surprised. I don’t know what they put in their rice, but it tastes amazing. The chicken at many other Mediterranean restaurants I’ve been to tends to be dry and flavorless, but their chicken is tender, and juicy. The portions are generous, and the staff are kind, although I wouldn’t expect top-notch service here. You order at the register, and then your food is brought to you once it’s ready. If you’re in the mood for Mediterranean food, I would definitely recommend this place. Be aware that the establishment is rather casual and probably most ideal for lunch or a quick dinner.

Stopped by here for lunch the other day after reading their reviews from other Unilocalers. It was pretty crowded, so I waited in line which allowed me time to ponder what I was going to order. I ordered a regular Gyro, a regular Chicken Souvlaky, a Super Gyro, Super Beef Souvlaki and 3 orders of fries. All the Irma were packed with the various meats, lettuce, onions and tomatoes. The Super Souvlaki’s also had Feta cheese as well. The pita’s were huge and packed with flavor. The Chicken was served in large tender chunks and the fries were crispy and very good. I also ordered a side of Hummus and Pita, that was also very tasty. Service was very good and the food came out relatively quick, considering how crowded it was. Reasonable priced and there were a lot of tables to sit at, inside the restaurant. I’ll definitely be back.

Great food, quick service. No fancy place but clean and well maintained. I dig the steak souvlaki.

I don’t see how anyone could write a negative review about this place. It has it all!!! Decent prices, generous servings, fresh food, and great service. I come here at least once a week. Amazing spot.

3.5 stars rounded up. I liked Mikono’s a lot, but it’s not quite 4-stars… But I’ll give it 4-stars anyway due to many smaller factors other than just the food. For one, there is lots of seating and the tables are bused/cleaned for you. You order your food at the counter, where a friendly cashier greets you, gives you a number, and then brings you your food. We ordered a lamb gyro, greek fries, and a chicken gyro salad. Everything was super flavorful, but I found that the lamb gyro was pretty dry but the toppings and sauces help hide that a bit. The chicken was really good, juicy, and tender, but not quite the best I’ve ever had. The fries were delicious. but underneath everything that they put on them, they did not manage to stay crispy. All in all, everything here was super tasty with good portion/price, but this is not the best Greek food spot I can get to in the area. Final thoughts are: will be back here if in the plaza, and craving Greek food.

I am aware of the plenty of the positive reviews so I tried this place 3 separate occasions to make sure I didn’t come on an off day. Unfortunately, Mikonos doesn’t do it for me and that makes me sad since I am a fan of Mediterranean food. Gyros — meat was a bit dry and the fries that came it was over salted and soggy. Hummus with pita — Hummus was okay, but I prefer a thinner pita. Chicken Souvlaki Plate — came with chicken souvlaki, french fries and side salad or soup. I chose a salad and probably wasn’t the best choice, the greens I got were limp and wilted, maybe because I came towards the end of the lunch rush. Falafel sandwich — was okay, nothing too spectacular. So this place you order at the counter and get your food to go or else there is plenty of seats available for dine-in. The only service I encountered was the cashier who took the order and who I paid. They weren’t particularly enthusiastic or friendly.

This is a casual place where you can sit down with friends. I ordered the Lamb Souvlaki Plate with fries and salad. The lamb was really flavorful and the tzatziki sauce was amazing! Portion sizes are large and the food isn’t overpriced. The staff here is also super friendly, which is a major plus for me. After trying this place, I truly understand why the Unilocal rating is so high.

The cashier today 12÷23÷15 was extremely rude. As I was boxing my food she took the sauces from my table with out asking me if I was done using it. I told her I was still using it and she said and I quote«fine hurry up» wtf? She waited for me as though I was a sauce thief lol! To be continued… Tip: you can’t take sauces to go in a small container. They won’t even let you squeeze sauce on your food after you’ve box it. It’s against their policy. They’ll literally monitor your sauce usage. That’s what the cashier did to me today and I did not even use a lot of hot sauce!!!

Found this place on Unilocal and it was a great find. I had the regular gyro. They offered the super gyro which includes more meat and feta, but the regular was plenty big for me. Great tasting. Great service. I would go back.

Some of the best greek food I’ve had in the area. ½ Lemon chicken was amazing. Super tender and really flavorful. Pita bread was nice and fluffy — coming around really warm. Side salad was a bit sad, but maybe because it was the end of the day during the week. Portion size was also great — had enough to eat lunch the next day too. My friend got a gyro plate with greek fries. The greek fries were so good! Definitely worth the calories. Great for a quick bite to eat for lunch or dinner.

I come here at least once a week. Probably the best Greek food that I have that won’t dent your wallet. Not much places can offer the same quality and quantity of Greek food. This is not a place to bring a date but it’s more of just order at the counter and sit down. There are only two items I get, chicken salad and chicken souvlaki plate. Both can easily fill you up because they give plenty of chicken. There are plenty of seats, i’ve never had a day where I had to wait for a seat. Parking is easy to access but there’s yogurtland and ramen/boba place next door and parking can get filled quickly especially for lunch and dinner.

All meat served is halal as confirmed by the staff. Had lunch here today. Got the half lemon chicken with rice and mikanos special fries and the gyro sandwich. The food was out in less than 5 mins. Superb service! The chicken dish was extremely huge. Pretty filling for a lunchtime meal. The pita that came with the dish was amazing– hot and seemed Freshly baked. Mr. found the dish too lemony but I liked it. The gyro came in a pita roll. It wAs huge and came with onion, tomato etc. I took it to go. They gave me sides of sauces to go as well. The mikanos fries smelled great– hints of olive oil and a lot of garlic and feta cheese. We got it as a side to the main dish and we couldn’t hardly eat half. It got extremely filling after a few bites.

Summary: generous portions of good Greek food; quick, convenient, and relatively healthy. The ½ chicken meal is a great deal. A platter of tender, juicy chicken with very tasty rice pilaf, green salad, fluffy pita bread and a savory tomato broth sauce. My husband and I can usually split this as a meal and be satisfied. The gyros and chicken kabobs are decent, but didn’t like the bland hummus or falafel, though. The falafel is really green(too much parsley?) and not very moist or fluffy inside. Overall, we like coming here, because it’s close to the freeway with ample parking for well-priced food that doesn’t leave us in a food coma. And husband always appreciates that they usually have the football game on. Not a life changing experience, but definitely a dependable neighborhood go-to.

What keeps me coming back is their consistency! I thanked the owners for keeping their food delicious for more than 7 years. Two default plates you can’t go wrong with: Lamb and beef gyro. Gyro salad(go to the monster salad if you’re hungry)

During lunch, on a weekday, the service is a little slow, and there was some confusion with our party’s order. My boyfriend ordered half a lemon chicken, I had the lamb souvlaki plate, and his friends ordered gyros, another lemon chicken, and loukoumades to share. The loukoumades were delicious with a crispy outside, but soft interior, and it had slowly soaked up the syrup it sat in. I have to say that was my favorite part of the meal. Our main dishes were good the first few bites, but by the end of the meal, it left us feeling unsatisfied. Not because it wasn’t enough food, but the taste of it wasn’t good when it wasn’t hot. My fries sat on the same plate as everything else on my plate, which included my salad, and so, resulted in soggy fries. There was a generous amount of pita bread, which was more than enough carbs on my plate. I tried the lemon chicken – while the flavor was great, but the chicken was a little tough. The experience was only ok in my books, which only means that I would very much prefer other Greek-style places that I’ve tried before this, but I could see myself coming back for more loukoumades.

I’ve worked for a Mediterranean food joint a long time ago before, and I reminisce on how flavorful the gyro meats tasted. So I called in for a pick up order from this place down the block where I lived. I drove and got my dinner in just 10 minutes, very fast and smooth. I won’t review customer service or the inside experience for fairness, but I’ll be back for more. For about $ 14 + tax, got the super gyro plate and Greek fries. My first bite instantly reminded me of how slow cooked meat was so distinct and perfect, there was plenty of it stuffed in and it was huge, like the size of a chipotle burrito. I only wish more feta cheese was added. As for the Greek fries, they were something else! I can’t tell what they used for spices but I can only tell they kind of resemble garlic cheese fries, so you have to try it yourself. Salad was also included in this combo, but at that point, I was full and well.

I stopped here for a quick lunch and wasn’t expecting much but I was quite in for a treat. The service was amazing and the people here were so pleasant and helpful. It was so nice being able to walk in to not a fancy restaurant but get treated like royalty. Half lemon Greek chicken– 4⁄5: the flavors in this chicken was so juicy and exotic. It was served over a bed of lemony sauce and with every bite you just kept wanting more. The chicken here reminded me of «Dino’s chicken» in Los Angeles. Just so delicious; however in comparison I would have preferred white breast meat. There was quite a bit of fat on this chicken. Garlic Greek fries– 4.5÷5: yes, I did say Garlic Greek fries with feta crumbles and papa time and all kinds of spices that will take you back to a tropical island like Mykonos. Ooh la la! I am in love with the fries here. I can keep raving about it but I will stop making your mouth drool!

I’m a fan of their super gyro. Costs more than the non super. What makes it super compared to the non super is the extra meat and cheese. Meat is yummy. Fries are yummy. Serves me for more than one meal. I like the creamy smooth sauce. I’m a fan of their salads too. Only thing is the salad isn’t that good the next day. My fiancé likes the half chicken plate. Meatballs seemed burnt and didn’t taste like much. See photo. One thing I’d change is less red onions overall.

Mikonos Grill makes some of the most filling gyros out there. I am pretty familiar with gyros since they are all over the university district in Seattle however Mikonos takes gyros to the next level. The place is quite spacious and clean. The menu is above the register and is easy to read. It would be nice if they had menus printed out for people to use if they are waiting in line. The staff here are very friendly and talkative. They take the time to ask you about your day and what not. We decided to order a regular beef and lamb gyro and a gyro the plate. The plates here simply mean that it is a combo meal. It comes with 2 sides, either french fries, salad, rice or soup. We decided to go with the fries and salad. You take a seat and they will bring the meal to you. Gyro — Woah. These things are jam packed with meat goodness. I don’t think I could even fit the whole sandwich into my mouth because of how stuffed and wide it was. There are thin pieces of lamb and beef that are so succulent and flavorful. They are slightly on the saltier side if you eat the pieces alone but you’re supposed to eat it with the rest of the filling. The tomatoes and veggies are fresh. I wish they would put a little bit more tzatziki sauce on the gyro though. I felt that there was enough since it was so massive. The pita was very warm, fluffy and was a great vessel for the filling. Fries — Yum! Most of the time when I go to places to eat and they offer fries they are pretty standard. However these were different. They were very crisp on the outside, piping hot and so fluffy on the inside. The seasoning that they use makes the fries taste so much better. They have ketchup in a bottle along with some tzatziki(which they call white sauce). The fries taste good with both sauces. Salad — They give a decent portion of salad with lots of tomatoes and cucumbers. I enjoyed the feta cheese. I think there was a light vinaigrette on the salad but I couldn’t taste much of it. It was a standard salad in my opinion but I did enjoy that everything was crisp and fresh. Service here is well and you are handed two water cups after you order and pay if you decide to eat in. They will clean up your table once you are done so you don’t have to worry about bussing it yourself. The price here is fair for the portion that you get. For the gyro sandwich and the gyro plate it was less than $ 20 and there was plenty of food for both of us. Overall, Mikonos is a very good place to get gyros if you want your fill and portion sizes worth your buck.
