Van took care of my walk in lip wax. Super sweet. Very professional and relaxed at the same time. She did a more thorough job than my normal place, European Wax Center. She offered to do my lower lip at no extra charge and even got her tweezers out to make sure she did a good job.

Since the new owner has taken over things have really gone downhill prices are up and the new girls don’t really care about customer service I went in there today and was sitting there for over five minutes with a girl who was available but didn’t want to stop texting or playing a game whatever she was doing on her phone to help me and when I asked if she would be able to cut my hair they said you might want to come back later. I find it hard to believe that this business is doing so well that they can turn away customers. Don’t bother getting your haircut here anymore.

mani pedi: does an amazing job. takes her time to make nails look perfect. she can get creative with designs if you ask. for mani ask for gel; my nails lasted about 3 weeks.
waxing: this is the best waxing place I have ever been to. she has been waxing for bout 20 years so she knows what she is doing. her technique has minimum pain, and the high quality wax really gets the roots of the hair out. I have completely quit shaving and wax everything about every 5 weeks now. legs, arms, armpit, Brazilian.

I had my mani pedi which was at reasonable price. Van was really amazing and patient. Was in love with my nails. Would definitely go again only for Van.

I walked and was awkwardly stared at so I said hi do you have time for a nail apt today… All the lady said was «no, sorry» very short and very rude. Would never come back here. Also salon looks very dated.

Got my nails done by Van the owner again and love my nails. This is the only place I trust and go to! Van takes her time and focuses only on you and listens to what you want. Flawless finish and best prices in the Bay Area!

GREAT NAIL SALON — called today at 1:30 and got a 3:00 appointment — not that they weren’t busy but needed them to fit me in so I didn’t have to wait and it was perfect! Van (the owner) and Lucy are wonderful and worked meticulously to make my Gel pedi/​mani look and last throughout my holiday! Highly recommend this salon! I will absolutely be back!

Van is a freestyle creative artist. Best to Google a nail design and then get her to freehand paint it on your nails.

I came here with 3 other friends for a mani and pedi. They did a wonderful job and took a lot of time to patiently complete it. Totally lived it!

I went on a Sunday when Van was the only one working — make sure to call and make an appointment. She took her time (so if you are in a rush this place isn’t for you) but as a result gel mani and regular pedi turned out amazing. Wonderful experience and I will definitely be returning in the future!

I Love Lucy! Both the TV classic and my nail tech at this hidden gem.
A regular mani/​pedi will run you about $ 35, which probably seems steep given that it’s located in a strip mall with a check cashing place and a Goodwill, but it is well worth it for the amazing service and attention to detail you get here.
There are exactly two pedicure chairs here, and exactly two employees. Which means no rush jobs, no crowds, no noise, and if there is another customer, your mani/​pedi will be done separately. They even use an electric pedicure file for your calluses! Best to make an appointment and definitely don’t go during your lunch hour, unless you want to be gone for 2 hours. (Not that I was complaining…)

This is a way past overdue review! I have seen Van and Lucy about a handful of times and every single time I see them, it has always been such a great experience! They take their time and it doesn’t bother them if you converse the whole time or just want to sleep while they do your nails! I have two kids and two jobs, so I only get my nails done about 4 times a year. I’m a very busy mom and wife, so when I do come in, this is ME time aka RELAXING AND A LITTLE SHUT EYE TIME for me :)
I trust them hands down, 110%, no doubt! You tell them what you want and they will definitely execute it! Do make an appointment, because it is only them two working.
At such a great price and great customer service you cannot go wrong!

This is the best place for pedi, mani, facial and waxing. I have been going here for last 2 years. Every time you go Van will always surprise you with new nail art.

I always come here every month and today thought of getting Tiffany Blue color with red/​heart design. Van suggested to add a green stone. Did my short notice (a day before appt), Van gave me 830am (she opens at 10:30) to accomodate me as she is fully booked.

A friend and are new to the area and we wanted to get our toes done, we decided to come here because of the great reviews and the 10% discount on Wednesdays.
First impression: this place is outdated, only one person is working, this is going to take forever, maybe we should go somewhere else…
We had to wait about 20 minutes for another employee, Cindy I think, to show up to start my manicure. I got a gel manicure, which is FLAWLESS!
Pedicures: also perfect! Van served us hot tea while we had our spa pedicures!
I will definitely come back because of the quality work they did, also at a very good price, $ 45 for a gel manicure and spa pedicure.
They also use hot mango lotion for the massage part. It’s awesome.

Van Tran is not only the best manicurist and pedicurist, she is also a very kind business woman. I got a pedi last week and chipped my toe. She fixed it free of cost and did a terrific job. Thank you Van.

I have found my go-​to nail spot! Van is the best. She takes her time, is kind and sociable, and even gave me tips on how to make my nails healthier. She focuses on you, and gives you quality service. I got shellac nails and a pedicure both by Van, and even though I came close to closing time, she did not rush. Van took time beautifying my nails, giving me a great pampering experience. She massaged my hands and feet, and the pedicure chairs are massage chairs so you can relax and get a nice back massage while you’re at it. As for cleanliness, I saw them clean the foot spa tub before using it on me. And on top of that, she gave me my own goodie ziplock bag of a filer, foot scrubber, and nail block thingy that she had used on me. What a steal :)
In my past experiences at other nail salons, I have felt uncomfortable, unwelcome, and rushed. What makes this place stand out is that I could feel that Van really cares about her customers, has great work ethics, and really strives to give her customers the ultimate experience.

Okay been coming here for a while now ever since the first few fateful times with Van and Lucy. And they have officially converted me. However this is not your typical salon, Van and Lucy are great in all the ways that you want and need without all the frills that bigger salons have. But if you want all the frills and pushy-​ness go for it. Not my cup of tea is all.
A few important things you should do is try and make an appt if you are planning on getting a mani-​pedi. There are only two stations and a lot of the time Van is by herself. Although Van is one of the most hardworking people and always makes sure she goes out of her way to make you happy.
