Cute tasting room on the south side near the state line. A cool outside patio for enjoying the nice weather. Friendly staff. Very nice Tempranillo wine! Stop by and give it a try!

We had an incredible wine tasting experience here last weekend! A very knowledgable and friendly staff offered delicious tastings as well as local history. The Spanish-style wines crafted by Chris Castillo were some of the best we’ve tasted. The atmosphere is casual yet elegant with beautiful views. We are happy to be new wine club members! Thanks, we will be back!

Great wine, setting, and people. We had them host our 30 year class reunion… amazing venue for that or weddings etc. They helped arrange music and catering — went way above and beyond. Famous for their Sangria and soon to be famous for their wines. One of the busiest places any given tasting day(Fri-Sunday) A must see!

Don’t miss! The wines are really wonderful and there is something for everyone. They have a sparkling! We didn’t taste it though because they were not pouring it on our visit. The guy pouring was knowledgable and talked to us a lot about the wines, and this is what I like because the whole reason I do tastings is to learn about wine. We bought a Temperanillo and a Cabernet. The location is gorgeous. It feels like you are in the Mediterranean instead of Eastern Washington. Recommended!

This was the last stop of the weekend on our wine tasting road trip of Eastern Washington. Oddly enough, we actually crossed the state line and entered into Oregon to get to Castillo de Feliciana. To be honest though, when we pulled into the parking lot of the vineyard, it felt more like we were in Spain. The tasting room was warm and lively. Our server was really friendly and had good stories to tell about each of the wines as far as the taste and origin of the names on the label. All of the wines that we tasted were quite good. From the start though, we knew exactly which wine we would be purchasing. They had a table wine called ‘Cohones’ that could only be purchased as a set of two(haha) for $ 30, so we got that. We both liked the artwork on all of the bottle labels. Of the many wineries we visited on the trip, most of them just had plain labels with the name of the winery and sparse color. These labels were fun and vibrant. We also appreciated that they had chocolates available to pair with some of the wines. Perhaps they were just leftovers from the previous day(which was Valentine’s day), but we appreciated them all the same. We both really enjoyed our time at this winery, and we’d definitely come back.

Love the wines and the price? Furthermore, it is a family winery. It is clear that they are doing this because they enjoy it and they all enjoy working together. I like their rose, viognier, and Adentro blend.

We visited this winery over Valentines Day Weekend. There were a total of eight people, and I believe most of us bought at least one bottle. I really enjoyed the Viognier and bought a few bottles. I was less than thrilled with the rest of their selection, but it was nice that they had a white that was quite nice. Their reds still seemed quite young and pushed out too early. The employees(and owners!) were extremely nice and let us go in the back to watch them cleaning out some wine barrels. They also had a neat gimmick, in that they had about 12 different chocolates from all around the world. According to our wine tour leader, she said that this winery usually has a little something that the owner prepares from scratch to delight those who come in to the winery.

We missed Castillo de Feliciana when we visited Walla Walla during their Autumn Release weekend so I was happy to taste their wine at a recent event in Portland. They make a Tempranillo with Columbia Valley fruit that was good but didn’t knock my socks off. Also offering a couple different blends, the Adentro’s major wine component is Cab, along with several others in smaller percentages. Easy on the oak, but this blend was a bit too chalky for my liking. Miercoles is primarily Syrah and was delicious! It had very nice fruit flavors, pepper on the noise and palate with a wonderful finish.

I have not visited the vineyard, but tasted the first release at a wine store in the Seattle area recently. The Tempranillo was wonderful. The Pinot Grigio was not my favorite; it was too light for my taste and didn’t seem to have much character. But taste in wine is subjective so I’m not docking Feliciana for that. The third offering, a Semillon, was good. The prices for all the wines were reasonable; for example, Tertulia sells a comparable Tempranillo for about 50% more than Feliciana. Full disclosure: The winemaker, Ryan Raber, is a friend of mine.
