Cora Beauty – Spa – Waxing

Cora rocks! I went from one solid eyebrow and looking angry to being classified as human again!

I’ve been to Cora a number of times for a facial and beard treatment, and it is absolutely amazing. It’s the most relaxing hour I’ve ever experienced and my beard has never been softer. Try it once and you’ll be hooked

Let me preface this by saying that I’ve never had a facial before, so I don’t know what to compare it to — regardless, it was a wonderful experience.
The location itself is a little hard to find, tucked under another salon on Jefferson St. There is plenty of bike parking, and street parking around.
Her space is BEAUTIFUL. It’s very classically decorated, and they have a nice variety of skin, health and relaxation products available. In particular, I am a fan of the candles she has!
The treatment room is very quaint, quiet, relaxing and gorgeous. From the moment I stepped in, I felt a calm come over me. Candles are lit, the room smells amazing.
During the actual facial, she used a variety of products and techniques. She gives great massages, and I love the use of the steamer and essential oils.
As I was checking out, she recommended a product for one of the skin issues I have. Not only was Cora super knowledgeable, but she was also able to provide a product for me that has worked wonders on my skin.
She’s got a full menu of treatments and services she provides, all at reasonable prices — so I will definitely be back!

Cora just did my eyebrows and they look fantastic. The atmosphere is calming, modern and relaxing. I will definitely be back in the future.

I had an hour long facial with Cora today and it was amazing!
Her spa is warm and inviting and her treatment room is beautiful. The facial… out of this world, really. Pressure for the massage was SPOT ON. It was incredibly relaxing.
After my facial was over, she offered me ice cold water and went over the products she used on me and what she recommended for me to use at home. I feel like she was teaching me about the products rather than pushing to sell them.
I can’t say enough good things about my experience today.
I will definitely be back to see Cora for another facial!

Cora is the best in the city. Precise, professional, and as pain-​free as a Brazilian can be. She’s a magician with hard wax!
