Old, dirty, and unfriendly staff, starting with the manager. I have been to this location 3 times now. The past 2 times were meh, this time was down right horrible with the highlight(or in this case the low point) was when I was at the cutting counter asking the manager a question and she started talking on her headset, ignoring me. I had to wait for her the finish her conversation and then repeat the question. Unacceptable.

I happened to be in the area, so I stopped in. Terrible decision. The floors were full of floral stems and petals, fabric scraps, glitter, stickers, products all over the floor, fabric rolls falling over, the employees weren’t doing much of anything, and it looked like it hadn’t been picked up/cleaned in days. When we went to check out, we asked the cashier how she was doing. She just complained about how tired she was and how badly she wanted to go home… which made the experience even more negative. This store is so small, outdated, and doesn’t have very much inventory plus it was a mess with unenthusiastic employees. It made me appreciate how great the Maple Grove store is. Avoid this store!

This Jo-Ann Fabrics has horribly slow service. Both at the fabric cutting counter and at the checkout lanes. Why such a poor process? I was told by the manager this evening to take a number and wait my turn at the fabric cutting area. Note my surprise when I see the fabric cutter is not following the number taking process at all and helping whoever is standing closest to her. Annoying. I then have to assert myself and say I was the next number and have the wrath of non-number taking customers stare me down. The checkout lanes were another long queue with the cashiers taking their time and socializing more than actually helping customers. I spent nearly 45 minutes there tonight to buy 1.5 yards of fabric that I had already picked out. The last two times have gone this way, I won’t be chancing a third.
