Don’t know what all the hype is about this place. I went because of the reviews and I was highly disappointed. Microwaved croquettes and empanadas. For a bakery I thought I would be getting fresh food. The place is always empty and now I know why. I gave one star because the café con Leche was ok and the staff is friendly.

I don’t understand the reviews for this place. It doesn’t bother me that it looks run down and I can’t see the pastries because the display has no light and you the glass is old. I don’t go to restaurants for the glitz and glamour of its décor. I do go for good food. The man that served us was very very nice. Nothing to say about him. But if I wanted microwavable croquetes I would’ve gone to the nearest grocery store. If I wanted cold slices of American cheese on Cuban bread I would’ve stayed home. The only thing fresh about the whole meal were the fries. Will not be back.

Ok i don’t know what all the hype is all about? I went to this bakery from seeing all the good reviews but the whole place felt shirt. First of all the location sucks and sitting to eat there seems awkward since it was empty and the staff were just looking at you. Super sweet people though. I dont mind the location much just as long as the food is great. Me and my fiancé got beef empanadas and croquetas. They basically were frozen empanadas and croquetas. The empanadas sucked, were used to flaky meaty beef empanadas from la carreta or vicky bakery, but these were awful! It had so much soft yeast with a little bit of meat. Badddd! We basically gave all 5 empanadas to our dog Leila. The croquetas were mediocre, nothing special. I’m never going back there.

I loved this place. Probably the best service I’ve ever had, friendly, promptly, professional. I ordered the palomilla steak lunch which comes with rice, beans and plantains. I was surprised that the taste was not overpowering and most of the condiments and flavors were from the meat and vegetables themselves rather than a bunch of salt. The meat was tender and everything was delicious. My husband had the steak sandwhich which is the best I’ve tasted, the fries were also very good. The pastries looked good though we didn’t have any. The ham croquetas were very good. We were so full but we wanted to try one of the shakes… I forgot the name but it contains mamey, strawberry, wheat and fruta bomba. The owner was kind enough to make us a free sample and it was 5 stars. I really must say that the only negative about this place it’s that is so far from us :(

Good breakfast sandwiches and Cuban coffee. Nice staff. Plenty of parking. The one thing to improve, no A/C and fans were off. Will come back anyways.

Excellent food and great service. Henry makes the best café con leche in town. Whenever we are in town, a stop here is a must.

Definitely no frills cafeteria style Cuban place but the food is amazing! The Cuban sandwiches are to die for, the pastries are amazing and yummy! Good coffee and all your favorite Cuban food cravings. Service is wonderful and it has a family run atmosphere. Open very early for breakfast too! Best in the area for Cuban food and pastries!

Very happy I found another great local Cuban spot. Breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I came for a egg sandwich with cheese and tomato on Cuban bread and I loved it. Exactly what I was looking for. The café con leche was great as well. They’ll even put on ice unlike most Cuban bakeries.

I work at the dentist in the complex and I need coffee everyday. I get the large coffee con leche, one hot for my aunt and one on ice for me($ 2 for large, $ 1.25 for small). The first time I got it on ice, it was too sweet, but after I told him to reduce it, it became perfect. The man is very nice; he works everyday so he’ll remember your order. I tried the breakfast sandwich(eggs & cheese, with your choice of meat — I got bacon) today and it’s $ 3.65. It’s pretty good. Half is good for me, but I could easily finish the whole if I didn’t order a coffee. :)
