I purchased a groupon for my daughter for trim, highlights & deep conditioning & while we were there I decided to get a cut. The salon is clean & inviting. Susan did my daughter’s highlights & trim. She had never had highlights before so she was a lil nervous. Azi did my cut & I was also a little nervous as I was cutting about 8 inches off & going shoulder length. They both did a fantastic job. Both were very friendly & attentive to what we wanted. They made us feel welcome & comfortable throughout our visit. Both of us were very happy with the results and will be returning regularly. The groupon was a great deal & their everyday prices are great too.

Susan gave me the best cut of my life and incredibly natural-​looking balayage sunkissed highlights! I recently moved to NYC from San Francisco and was disappointed with the cuts I’d received from $$$$ salons. While visiting family in southern orange county, I decided its time for a hair change. I had a wonderful feeling from Susan after speaking with her on the phone and decided to move forward with color and a cut. I was amazed by her work and can’t stop looking at my hair.
Aside from being an intuitive and gifted stylist/​colorist, Susan is one of the warmest people I’ve ever met. I’m not usually one to chitchat in the chair, but Susan and I talked through our whole 3 hour appointment. She immediately put me at ease and melted away all of my tension. I not only walked out with gorgeous hair full of life and movement, but also feeling confident and uplifted. I got non-​stop compliments at the salon and even at my doctor’s appointment the same day!
I will be a lifelong client of Susan and have already recommended her to friends and family.

From my eye brows tweezers (because I can’t do wax) and also tinted (because they are blonde) to my hair maintenance! Susan and Nadia are amazing!

I went to this place on a Groupon and saw the owner (Susan?) for an appointment; she gave me a trim and all-​over dark color process. I ended up going back to get the trim fixed, which she did for free and I did appreciate that.
I’m still extremely frustrated because she left the color and developer on my hair so long it broke off a lot of it, leaving stray flyaway and baby hairs that are taking forever to grow back. She started my color, then did a cut on another client, then came back and finished my color. The color came out okay, but my hair is damaged and broken because of the excessive amount of time she left the low-​level developer on. She’s a nice enough person, but because of her carelessness I have strands all over my head that stick straight up and out, and that I can’t pull back into a ponytail or braid.
The salon is also cheap looking and poorly designed. They don’t seem to have their stuff together. On my second appointment she and another lady tried to do a permanent brow makeup consultation, but they kept using the wrong brushes, colors and makeup and couldn’t get that right either.
For the bad hair color job alone I wish I could take back the whole experience. This was not worth the discount on Groupon, that’s for sure.

Found Susan on groupon and scheduled an appointment about a year ago. She did an amazing job. Really took her time. She did a perfect job of a balayage with ombré! I went back up to college and unfortunately had to go to another lady who did not do anything I wanted. I called Susan when I got back to Orange County and she took me at the exact time I wanted and did exactly what I wanted!

I needed a last minute haircut, so I found a Groupon and called, crossing my fingers that they would be able to squeeze me in. Susan managed to get me in and then, in under 30 minutes, managed to wash, cut, and style my hair beautifully! Nothing like meeting the boyfriend’s mom with a lovely hair-​do. I really appreciate how accommodating they were and liked how well the haircut turned out.
The location outside seems a little odd, but once you’re inside, it feels like a homey salon. I would come back again! :)

I don’t really write reviews unless I’m either mad or really happy with the service I get. So here it goes… I recently moved to mission viejo and I have been looking for a hair salon that is good and close by my house. As a new mother you can imagine how limited on time I am at times. Let me continue my story by saying that I found sassy babe salon on group on and i was a little nervous about going there because we all know group on can be a hit or miss sometimes. Lol well, I called and she gave me an appointment for the following day when I got there she greeted me by my name and was really friendly. She took a look at my hair while I was telling her how unhappy I was and that I wanted a change. She asked what I would like and I told her what I pictured, not only did she do an amazing job with my hair but she also made me feel like if we knew each other for years. She is a professional, caring person, an amazing artist and someone that I want to style my hair forever! I highly recommend everyone in mission viejo to give her salon a try. You won’t be disappointed. :)

Susan transformed my gray, frizzy, bushy hair into gorgeous brown locks with awesome highlights! She also gave my unruly hair a gorgeous blow out. I look ten years younger and my husband looooves it!

I recently moved here from Costa Mesa, and needed to find a salon I could trust. You cannot go wrong with Sassy Babe. Susan cut and colored my hair perfectly, and is very gracious, caring, intelligent, and entertaining. I felt and looked fantastic after she was done, and really enjoyed the music, coffee, conversation, and final results. This is my «go to» salon now, and I look forward to my next visit… all that and very reasonably priced too.

Nadia and Susan made my hair and my bridesmaids hair on my wedding day. We were so happy with their work. Both are very sweet and skilled in their job!

I found Azi on Groupon. Then I checked her reviews on Unilocal.She gets great reviews everywhere and she deserves it. I had a cut, partial highlights and style. I was in and out in 90 minutes. My hair looks great. Her prices are great. She uses top of the line products, she’s really nice, she listens to what you want and then she applies her artistry to give you a beautiful result.

I discovered Sassy Babe Salon via Groupon. Susan was very personable on the phone and in person. She did a fabulous job cutting and styling my hair while giving me great tips to style my hair at home.
I highly recommend Susan and look forward to my next visit!

Susan, Nadia & Azi are wonderful! This is a quaint salon with beautiful bright colors of yellow, orange & green that wakes you up while has calming effect too with peaceful music playing in background (ambience means a lot to me). Susan & Nadia do incredible color & cuts and are very affordable. Both myself and my two (picky) teenage boys have been 100% satisfied with the services here. Azi does great pedicures too… the massage chair is wonderful! I highly recommend this salon to women, men, teenagers and children… you will not be disappointed with the salon services & the prices.

I found this place on Unilocal and saw they had GREAT reviews. Purchased a Groupon for it and made an appointment last Saturday morning. When I made my appointment the lady said to just come in and whoever was in the salon will give me my haircut. Alright, sounds kinda unprofessional so I went with it thinking she will be there.
When I arrived at the salon, they did not have me scheduled on the appointment but again whoever was there took me. Nadia ends up taking my appointment gives me a haircut. I’m not sure if she was in a rush or not but I have pretty long thick hair and it normally takes about an hour to finish. Nadia took 30 mins to wash, cut, blow dry and style my hair. Um. yah thats not right… barely got it styled… She offered for me to come back another time for the same price as I had purchased my groupon. So I left disappointed. Now my hair feels like it was only cut in the front for layers and trimmed in the back slightly. The cut isnt smooth and I am constantly getting knots in my hair after this haircut. WTF. NEVER GOING BACK again. Now i have to go find another Hairstylist to FIX what she messed up on.
I dont recommend this place. Apparently I spoke with Susan and she never even showed up the appointment… her phone number is on the groupon and didnt bother to show up and i got a crap of a haircut instead. THANKS A LOT!

Susan is really good. Just like most of other guys I am usually not happy with my haircut but Susan is one of the only times that I was satisfied. Very reasonable price as well. I will def go back to her.

Azi from Sassy Babe Salon is a gem! She makes you feel at home and always wants to make sure that you are happy with the services she provides! Azi is wonderful with color as well as gives a great cut!

I got a deal off of groupon and I expected them to treat me… well…like I got a deal off of groupon. I was completely wrong. Azi gave me input about the hair color I chose, about the cut, she gave me to notch service and my hair looks and feels amazing. This is my salon of choice for friendly, attentive, quality service.

Susan at Sassy Babe Salon is a real sweetheart. The value here is really incredible. I wouldn’t say that my hair is the best it’s ever been (as far as creativity), but for the price she really can’t be beat. I’ve gotten a few compliments each time I’ve gone to her on my hair, the cut and color.
It’s a very casual atmosphere, which is a nice change from any stuck-​up salon, but if you want 100% attention 100% of the time, you probably want to go to a more traditional chain kind of place.

I came in and got my eyebrows threaded. They are very friendly! The service was quick and only slightly painful. I’ve had other threading experiences that were extremely painful! My brows look great and I definetly will come back to this independent shop for future brow work.
