Good solid Mexican fare here – pretty standard – there must be some kind of Mexican Restaurant cartel that puts out the menus and recipes. I had the Chile Relleno and Beef Tamal – both were very good and came out piping hot. The beans and rice were fine. The only place I’d say they need to step up their game is with the salsa – it was too tomato-y and generic-tasting. Otherwise, not bad at all.

We found this place while in town on an overnight trip. The food was excellent and fairly prompt service for Friday night. The salsa was very good and a little spicy which I like. Enchiladas, tacos and tamales were all good. It was a lot of food and we were unable to eat it all. The only negative is that the seat cushions were worn and slightly ripped. Otherwise great experience. The rice was just okay and just average.

A stop I must make every time I come to town. The food is good, and reasonably priced. You get seated right away, even though the place is on the smaller size. The sweet tea and queso are spot on. Check them out.

I really like this restaurant. There is a lot of parking which is nice. My first impression when I went inside is that it looked nice, but it was really tiny. The restaurant has table and booth seating but to get to the booths you have to walk past the tables. When I went it was for dinner and it was pretty busy. Walking to the booths, I bumped into some people sitting down in their chair. It was an even bigger issue trying to get a child to the bathroom in a hurry. The waiter was nice and the menu had a lot of options on it. I ordered the seafood quesadilla, which wasn’t the cheapest thing on the menu, but I went for it anyways. It was kind of difficult finding something that a child would want to eat, especially one who isn’t really used to eating a lot of Mexican food outside of nachos. The food took awhile to come out but they were a little busy, so we enjoyed the atmosphere while we waited. When our food came, I have to say, I really fell in love with it! It was the best quesadilla I’ve had so far. The portion was large and I looked forward to eating the leftovers. Overall, I liked this restaurant but I felt kind of squished up. I can vouch for what I ordered, but there were so many items on the menu it’s hard to call this a good restaurant without tasting more items. The inside is really colorful but also really small. It was busy when we went, so it was pretty noisy. I wanted to go back to order the quesadilla again, but I never got the chance to. Maybe one day I will!

The food in Moberly leaves a lot to be desired. This place is no exception. I don’t feel that my food demands are too high, however this failed to meet any real metric of satisfaction. It serves it’s place – an average Tex-Mex restaurant where you can get a drink and some derivation of taco shell meat, vegetables and some manor of rice and beans. Authentic is not the word I would use to describe this place, and neither is good. I got the Pollo con Queso and the chicken was dry, the cheese sauce was decent, and went fairly well with the chicken. The rice and beans were basic and nothing to write home about. The rice was slightly over cooked and rubbery, but otherwise had decent flavor. I suspect after a few margaritas this place tastes fantastic, however with my glass of tea it was underwhelming.

Busy and small but definitely worth it! Wait staff was friendly and extremely hard working. Margaritas were delicious and food was good which was why I only gave four stars. The beef was ground beef instead of shredded and the food was lightly spicy where I like a little more kick but other than that it was good.

So good! Best Mexican restaurant in the area. It tops anything I have had in years. The service was great, the food was even better. I got a quesadilla, and rice and beans, So much for your money. I took my friend Jose with me, and he enjoyed it as much as me.

This place is not so bad for the price. I mean where are you going to find a good burrito in the middle of Missouri? I was surprised to find this very nice Mexican restaurant in the middle of mid-western America. It’s not what I’m used to when it comes to a burrito, but it’s very nice. The pricing is great too. It will never compare to a burrito from Tomasita’s in Santa Fe, NM, but you can’t have everything in life. For a burrito in the middle of gravy land, it’s a good thing!
