I have had nothing but positive experiences with not only Dr. Song but her staff as well. She delivered my child no problems. She always takes time to answer my questions. She like to give alternative ideas for a solution to any problems or concerns I may be having. I have been with her for over 12 years with no complaints!

Don’t waste your time with Dr. Song! She is unprofessional & absolutely rude! The longest I have been in a room with her was 5 mins. She doesn’t make you’re visits pleasant or helpful. The time I have asked questions about concerns she brushes them off like nothing. I went into pre term labor at 34 weeks &4 days & she was no where to be found. When I called her office they said she wouldn’t be in until Tuesday & this was on a Thursday. They also told me she didn’t have a back up doctor while she is gone. I ended up in labor & delivery for 2hrs. They had to give me 2 shots to stop my contractions. At my next appointment with her she said any signs of labor? I said yes & told her what had happened. Her response was well since your 35 weeks now they won’t stop it & that’s it. This is baby #5& have had 3 different doctors delivery my babies due to the fact that I have moved a lot. She is the worst!

Is there a no star? This rating is for the staff not the Dr. I was going to be a new patient. I booked my appt over 2 weeks ago. I came in and filled out tons of paperwork and the receptionist barely looked my way. After over an hour I asked how long it would be. I am then rudely told for new patients it can take over an hour and a half to verify your insurance. I tell her that most ask for it ahead of time and have that done. Then i hear some excuse how Cigna does it differently. Ok well still over an hour an half and that doesnt include being sceen. So then I hear my chart is back there and by this time I am ready to leave I didnt think this would take 2 hours. Then they call me to check my BP and the girl is acting like she is apologizing but telling me I really had my appt at 10:30 not 10:00 and so thats why. Ok idiot it was at 10:00 which means if I came in early, which I didn’t, that gives you an extra half hour to check my insurance which she didn’t think about. Then she tells me that they explained to me on the phone it would be about 2 hours. Ok no you didn’t because I would never have came. So in the background I hear(I am assuming) Dr. Song say«oh emergency C-section gotta go) and then they say with a smile«oh now you will really hate us» and I said I am done! And I walked out. But Dr. Song did call me and apologize and asked if I was ok. I do really appreciate that. She was actually really nice and wanted to know if I came in for anything other than a check-up.

I would not recommend this doctor. I had an annual check up with her for the first time, and I had never been to a OBGYN specialist before. Her staff was not very welcoming. They were rude on the phone and even laughed at me for repeating what she said just to make sure I heard correctly. They were also unhappy that I didn’t fill out the forms before I came to the office when nobody told me that there were forms I could fill out at home. I asked Dr. Song to tell me what she was doing because I haven’t had an appointment like this before. She poked and prodded without any warning. She hardly talked to me unless I asked a question. Even when I asked a question, she either answered with a «yes,» «no,» or «I don’t know,» and she would accompany the answer with a look on her face like«why are you concerned?» I asked her about an issue, and she wanted me to do some research at home and come back to tell her what I have decided… Shouldn’t she be helping me make the decision? Even though she is an Asian woman like myself, I was uncomfortable talking to her about my issues because it seemed like she didn’t care.

Dr. Song practices medicine the old fashioned way. She is the first physician I have been to that spent over a half an hour listening to me and asking me questions! She follows up with tests and she gives me alternatives for treatments, letting me make an educated decision. While she can be your family Doctor, she is a OB/GYN — so sorry boys stay at home!
