My family and I recently ordered two wedding cakes from Pierre’s for a joint wedding reception(one was vanilla with vanilla custard and raspberry preserves; the other was chocolate with mocha cream). Jamilli assisted us with placing the order and she was a pleasure to work with — extremely helpful and patient with the five of us who came(twice!) to make the selections. The cakes themselves were a hit — beautifully decorated and delicious(the two brides couldn’t decide which one they liked best). We’ve also tried their cookies and breads, which are excellent. The breads are incredibly fresh — perfectly soft on the inside and crusty outside. We’re looking forward to trying out more of the pastries and the deli as well.

While their food is great, I am totally DONE with them charging me up to 35% more than their listed prices at the register. When I asked the girl today why the price was much higher than usual she just screamed at me the price again and gestured towards the long line behind me. These guys are total crooks and should be reported to the better business bureau. It’s a real shame too as their food is not bad. Make sure you have the menu with you when you order otherwise you most likely will be overcharged as well. Many people where I work frequent Pierre’s as well and they all complain about this. I just personally can’t be ripped off anymore!

I honestly don’t know how anyone can give Pierre’s a bad review. I love this place! I go there a couple times a month as I work right down the road. My favorite is the tuna pita melt! They honestly have the best tuna. Their pizza is also one of my favorites. The bakery is amazing and I’ve gotten my dad a cake from there for his birthday. The cheesecake is probably the best I’ve ever had. The lady the ususally is behind the counter at the deli part/cashing people out could def use a couple classes in being friendly but it won’t ever stop me from eating there! Love this place!

I have frequented pierre’s a lot in the layman. Having attended banquets before we did not think twice to have my baby shower there. While the room was private and nice(beautifully decorated by my mother and friends) that is where the compliments stop. We had vegetable lasagna which tastes bitter like pickles, chicken fracese which was tough and roasted pork. The pork was a taste like I have never had. The saving grace of the meal was the cold cuts and fresh bread. The attendants allowed the food to run out all The way before refilling the trays. We had fewer people attend then what we paid for so running out of food should not have Been an issue. Never again.

In terms of cost, food quality, ambiance and helpfulness of the staff, Pierre’s is the best venue I found within the 50 mile radius of central NJ area. We were gonna go for a ‘municipal court’ kind of wedding but opted to do the ceremony at Pierre’s, instead — with about a month to prepare for it. Levi, the maitre d, was our go-to guy — we could have not pulled it off successfully if it were not for his help. Our wedding became so memorable not only to us, but also to our guests, who are still talking about it 3 weeks after, and still counting …

We’re expecting our little one this December, and Pierre’s made the cutest cake for our reveal party! It was adorable, absolutely delicious, and exactly what we wanted. Jamily was awesome to work with and made sure the cake was perfect for us! P. S. — It’s a boy!

Experienced this place one time so far. I love cheese steaks and after I read the one review how they are the best and better than any philly cheese steak, I had to get one. It was mediocre at best and by far the best of any I ever had or better than a philly cheese steak. It is really big for a whole. I thought to myself 14″ isnt nothing spectacular for 8.99 but it is a very wide sandwich. Again… its good but so far from being the best Pizza was actually really good and I liked it better then the famous Dusals. Well, being new to the area people here say you have to order Dusals. So to me they make it seem like its the pizza place of choice in this area. I stopped in the bakery too and picked some things up. Chocolate covered canolli tasted like it was made many many days ago. The cream was very hard and the shell was very soft. A fresh canolli would have a crunchy shell and soft cream. That was a big dissapointment. I also asked the girl in there if they make anything gluten free. Which she told me the cheesecakes are and I got one of them. Got one for home and I told my wife the girl in the bakery said it was gluten free. Just as she took a spoonful to try she noticed the bottom had a graham cracker crust. NOTGLUTENFREE! My wife who has Celiac and can not eat any gluten whatsoever. A little dab or crumb of anything in here mouth will cause blisters, swelling in her throat etc, possible hospital trip. That was upsetting and the employees need to be more educated. Everyone there was really nice and customer friendly though.

This place has a nice bakery and deli. And very friendly people. Good service and nice food. No complaints. Only I wish they had more variety at the deli.

This is a take-out lunch place plus a bakery. The takeout items were ok but the self serve dining tables were all dirty. I didn’t see anyone cleaning them in the time it took me to eat lunch. Best for take-out only.

Stopped by Pierre’s Bakery to try out some baked goods. Even though it was late in the afternoon, they were still pretty fresh. We got a chocolate chip cookie and a cheese bear claw(?). We were satisfied with both. The quality is definitely better than a supermarket bakery and the pricing seemed very reasonable. If you are in the area and looking for a sweet, I would stop in and give them a try. If you live far away, its probably not that unique or amazing to justify a long drive.

Pierre’s is a staple in South Brunswick culture. It begins when you’re in middle school, I think, because that’s when I started going there. 13 year old Allie’s favorite sandwich was Eggplant Parmesan. I still get it sometimes when I’m feeling nostalgic. It’s great. So their thing is… well, it’s a lot now. But the owner’s family is Lebanese and so they can make some seriously great Mediterranean foods like lemon zingy hummus, fresh falafel, gyro’s with the spinning things of lamb, and great dips and salads. Their sub sandwiches are pretty great too, I always get Italian because… well what else is there? I guess there’s tuna. Whatever. THEN I discovered that their cheesesteaks are like twenty million times better than anywhere in philly. Seriously. Twenty million. Sidenote: who in the hell thinks philly cheesesteaks are good anyways? I have literally NEVER had a good cheesesteak in philly. The world is crazy. Everytime my brother comes home for the holidays we go to Pierre’s on I think the last day he’s here(he’s exTREMEly routine about things like food from home) he gets a cheesesteak with bacon and mushrooms and normally I look at it and I think… ugh and jesus at the same time. But then I had one. WOAH. JUSTWOAHTOWNDOWNTOWN. So yeah. They’re really reeeeeeally really nice, family owned(pretty much everyone who works there is in some way part of the family) and they have pretty much every possible business that you can have all in the same lot. Their bakery is legit, which means their bread is good for the deli, the restaurant has a banquet hall for all your bar or bat mitzvah slash wedding shower needs, plus they do catering really well. I got their eggplant rollatini a few weeks ago for a meeting and it was SOGOOD. If I am having a party coming up I am definitely going to keep Pierre’s in mind. That is saying a lot coming from me too cause most of the time at parties, I’m the cook. It’s refreshing and relieving to know that this is an option. Oh. And the Sunrise Creek Deli located at the very end of Canal Road in Somerset(1.1 miles from where I used to live) is owned and run by the brother and sisters of Pierre himSELF. And that deli is MYFAVORITE. SHOUTOUTTOGEORGETTE I LOVEYOUGIRLFRIEND! Georgette and Joan are the sweetest apple pie heads anyone ever baked.

This review is exclusively for the Bakery and the Deli. The employees are very friendly and do there job well!(4 stars). The food is very good, great breakfast sandwiches and platters. However, the prices are through the roof! I guess because there isn’t any other similar place within close proximity, but that doesn’t justify it. I paid $ 6.50 for Egg and Cheese with 2 slices of pastrami on a roll!!! Another time i got scrambled egg and cheese plater with the homefries, toast and sausage $ 9.19!!! Forget it ! I’ll make it myself from now on. I buy quality ingredients cook it better and my wife is super happy with my unparalleled skills in the kitchen amongst other places! Oh… and another time i got 3 single servings of cake from the bakery… $ 9.75! What! I almost forgot about that.

I posted the picture of the stick like thing in my carrot cake! It’s very disappointing when you are enjoying your cake and you bite into something hard and something that definitely doesn’t belong in the cake. I couldn’t even finish my cake because I was scared to bite into something else since it really hurt. I would be more careful with what goes into the batter.

A casual, cozy neighborhood restaurant-deli-bakery complex. It’s located on Georges Rd in South Brunswick. There are two buildings: one houses the restaurant, and the other houses the bakery and deli. The restaurant often hosts events, such as wedding receptions, sweet 16s and bar/bat-mitzvahs. It does events quite well, as the inside is elegant and grand. I’ve heard good things about the event catering and general organization. I ate at the restaurant once and found it okay. It’s pretty pricey, and I didn’t like the food enough to go back after that one time. I go to the deli and bakery a lot more. The deli is a little pricey too, with subs and sandwiches at $ 7 and sides at around $ 3. Some of the food is really good, like the sweet potato fries and mozzarella sticks, while other food isn’t worth buying, like the very plain grilled cheese for $ 3+ and the average sandwiches/subs. It’s a good casual lunch or dinner spot though with a few tables in the brightly lit, cozy hall. A lot of people stop in for breakfast too, as it has a wide selection of breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, toast, coffee, etc. The bakery is at the end of the hall, and features display cases with a huge variety of sweets and baked goods. It has cake slices, cheesecakes, different cookies, biscuits, macarons, bagels, doughnuts, fresh breads and pastries. All the sweets are very sweet and rich, so I’d recommend sharing a treat with someone else for dessert. Fair warning: the cream on the made-to-order cakes is also very, very sweet. I highly recommend the bagels and doughnuts, especially when they’re freshly made in the morning. The bagels are super soft and fluffy on the inside, and only 75 cents each. Overall, Pierre’s is a diverse neighborhood fixture with a ton of traditional menu, deli and bakery options. It can be pricey though.

I’ve been here twice so far for the deli, and I’ve loved everything I’ve ordered. My boss and I order our lunches here when we have other doctors over, and everyone has loved their food as well. Big portions for a not bad price. Chicken salad melt on a pita — Awesome. It’s real chicken — not like that«fake» chicken salad that some places give you. Delicious! I’ll be frequenting here a lot now :)

Clean and friendly place. We ate at the Deli section of Pierre’s. Great casual atmosphere. There are many choices for breakfast, lunch and Pizza! The bakery has always been a favorite of ours. You can’t go wrong stopping in for a dessert.

I just had my wedding here yesterday and had to write a review to let you guys know this is such a wonderful place to throw your events. They cater all occasions from sweet 16s to weddings. Levy is the manager and he was by my side from start to finish. I’d recommend them because the food was outstanding(not even 1 complaint), the service was professional, the manager knows all types of vendors to help you plan your event, there’s so much room and space for guests and parking– so honestly there’s no hassle. Plus overall their prices were extremely fair compared to other places that quoted me. I shopped around a lot. Def 5 stars!!!

I can’t believe I haven’t written a review for this establishment as of yet, I got married at this place for goodness sake! My review is for the Deli and Bakery, not the main restaurant or the banquet halls, although they were excellent with the handling of our wedding and reception. I frequent the deli for lunch, as I work down the road. They have a large lunch meat selection and cold salads to choose from. The hot foods are extensive as well, from burgers, hot dogs, panini’s, wraps, gyro’s to even pizza. All of their breads and rolls are fresh baked and taste like it. If you’re going to order fries, I suggest the spicy fries, they’re not actually spicy, just seasoned. Their standard french fries are seriously lacking. The bakery is a place I try to stay away from. It never ends well for me if I even take a sneak peek in there. I leave with a big box of goodies and an empty wallet. I recommend Pierre’s for everything from lunch, to baked goods, to even wedding receptions. I can’t comment on the main restaurant, as I have not been in there since it’s been made over.
