My friend was looking for a hotel room in town so I recommended this one since it’s one of Monroe’s only places to stay. I wasn’t with him when he checked in but when he did he was very tired and simply asked for a king nonsmoking room. Even though he didn’t request it they went ahead and booked him the Jacuzzi suite which goes for twice the rate of a normal room, around $ 100 a night. By doing this the hotel fully took advantage of him and the fact that he assumed that was the rate for a standard king room, which is completely inexcusable and a highly exploitative way to do business and boost nightly profits.
As far as the room is concerned, one of the shower doors was coming off, the microwave didn’t work, the fitted sheet kept coming off the bed since it was too small for the mattress, there were only two pictures hanging in the entire large room, and to top it all off the room had a faint smell of mold, especially when the water was running. Although I have recommended this hotel in the past the condition of the room along with the price of it and the disgustingly deceptive manner in which it was pushed upon my friend makes this hotel impossible for me to recommend to anyone and a place that I will never trust or stay at again.

I booked 6 nights through this hotel’s website. The site boasted «Pets allowed (with fee)
INNcredible breakfast» & much more that was not true. Hotel would not let pet stay upon arrival. No fitness center or biz centre. Breakfast was Ding Dongs in a Tupperware. Thin sheets. Cigarette burns in covers. Unsecured side doors. Stayed one night because he was going to charge card anyway. Paid over $ 97 for cheap room. He continues to charge activity on my card. Suing. He has emailed me 3 times in 24 hours since I left. No response from Best American Franchise

Not fancy but clean and good enough for us. Everyone on the staff was friendly. It was OK for a couple of guys on a gameday weekend, but otherwise not so much.
