Walton Inn Motel

i know i’m a bit late, but i promised these nice folks i’d write a review.
sadly, i had to stay at this place to attend a funeral in town as i did not want the stress of a long drive the day of the funeral. while it isn’t a four star hotel, this place was VERY affordable and was run by some of the NICEST people. i was just honestly looking for an inexpensive place to rest my head so i didn’t care about fancy amenities. they did have wifi available, which worked just fine. a big plus is they have smoking rooms available. for a grieving smoker, this is a fantastic bonus. the hotel was quiet and peaceful, which let our group get some rest before a very difficult day. we didn’t feel unsafe here at any time. no riff raff present. just a nice, quiet, old-​fashioned motel in the country. the staff showed us the room before we paid and were VERY accomodating, since some of the people in my group would be arriving a few hours later than us.
the staff at walton inn really went above and beyond for us. they were very understanding of our circumstances and just… sympathetic. trying to keep things organized while grieving is not easy.
i can’t thank the walton inn enough for being so kind and helpful during such a difficult time for us. THANKS! Y’ALL ROCK!

When we check inn in this nice motel, Front desk was very nice & helpful about area. She offered to let us see deluxe room with microwave & refrigerator. The room had a nice furniture & NEW carpet. Bathroom was in good condition. As soon as we saw Very clean bathroom and comfortable Beds, we immediately decided to stay. When we went back to confirm our room, she gave us very competitive price that we couldn’t even bargain.
Over all our stay was quiet & comfortable without any surprise or problem.
We will be back again to stay.
