It is located near a shopping square across from East Los Angeles College campus. It attracts both shoppers and college students. I went there a couple of times due to the convenience location. I tried their 4 for $ 4 deal, but I just enjoyed half of my order! The deal came with a double cheeseburger, a spicy chicken sandwich, a small fries, and a 16 oz soda. I found the spicy chicken sandwich was too salty, and the french fries was too hard for me! The double cheeseburger was great. It was juicy and yummy :)

I think her name was Angela or something ending in «ela» it’s 11:25am so the young girl working the drive through and pretty much the whole store. She did a great job and was running around the whole time I was in there cleaning and restocking as well as checking on the customers. There was a mistake one of the other employees made with our order and she came to fix it. She looks like an overall amazing employee. Thanks :)

This Carl’s Jr is over priced by at least $ 2.00. If it wasn’t for me being hungry I would have went somewhere else.

The food here is terrible. The prices are worse. I had a fish sandwich, split it with my child. We both did not feel well. This place is so disgisting. I used to like Carl’s decades ago. Something has violently changed. The whole company should shut down, go away, and spare us our health.

Horrible service. Very unprofessional. I can hear the cooks singing and cursing in spanish. Also… how does this Carl’s Jr get to charge nearly $ 3.00 more for combos compared to other Carl’s Jr? Never again.

I went last night for a «QUICK» drive through. One car in front. THATSIT. He ordered. Then my turn. I here ALL of there conversation in the intercom. Nothing bugs me more when they say UMMMM. not polite or anything. A simple Hi or even that automated voice asking if I would like to try… I here GOSSIP. I get to the window. She gives me my sons kids order and both our drinks.3mins waiting is a long time to get my order. She finally comes and she was about to give me my sons order again. I told her she already gave it to me and I’m just waiting on mine. Oh, what did you order? I told her… Oh! Here!.. and hands it to me. WTF!!! Seriously no apology, no thank you for waiting, no sorry about that. Oh, forgot to mention there were two girls working the drive through. Gossip gossip I recorded them. They’re not even discreet about it. And I tried to call when I got home and the phone is busy. Tried every five mins. About three times and BUSY. So I’m assuming the manager isn’t aware of what’s going on and on the phone. LASTBUTNOTLEAST. My bag of food. I opened my bag and my fries were ALL out and on the bottom of the bag. Couldn’t even stand them up.

11÷2÷147:45pm I go to order my family some keep food seeing we all had long days at work. I pull up to the payment window to hear the obnoxious manager yelling at the cook extremely rude to her cook. Whatever she makes him go home and takes over the food area… I got home n everyone complained about the food. It tasted frozen like ice. Thanks for the crappy food MANAGERLERNTOTREATUREMPLOYEESWITHRESPECTANDHOWTOCOOKIFURGOINGTOWORKAT A RESTUARNT. how immature and surely unprofessional.

I would have to give this place a very poor rating. I asked to get extra sauce and Alicia the manager said they could only give me a total two of each kind. Which would of been ok but I offered to pay for the extra for the sauce as I wanted 3 ranch and 2 buffalo. Alicia said no and that she could only give me 2 of each. I personally have never hear of this. I have always been able to pay and get the extras that I would like just seem to me, like she just didn’t want to give the consumer what they wanted. Sorry but something like that makes me not want to go back to place where they are going to have such an attitude over some extra sauces.(that I was more than willing to pay extra for) Better Luck to all you wonderful Unilocalers!!!

Deceptive Advertising. I’ve seen all the hype on TV about the Carl’s Jr. Texas BBQ Burger and decided to try it. I ordered the 1⁄3 pound burger for $ 6.49. It came in a box at best it’s just a BBQ burger. There’s nothing Texas about it, where’s the Pulled Pork? I disassembled this burger and scraped off 1 ½ teaspoons of Pulled Pork, really? WTF is this shit. The Jalapeño bits were 90% batter no flavor at all, with a few stale onion straw to top it off. What a waste of money. I recently had their $ 6 Dollar Burger too, at best it’s a thicker Famous Star. Food quality is going straight to the Shitter.

I try to avoid this place as much as I can. Service is horrible and unprofessional at this location. All of my visits have been walk ins. I often observe the staff while I wait in line(that’s if I know what I will be ordering). I must say they are too comfortable working there. For instance, there is a female employee who chit-chats with every employee there, literally just standing there doing nothing but chatting! She’s not the only one doing this though. I actually blame the manager for allowing this type of behavior in a workplace. I recently stopped for a visit here to simply make an order of fries to go. I had to wait for about 15 minutes for my order to be completed because they forgot about it. They must be quite unorganized if they forgot about my simple order. I can’t imagine how their drive-in service must be !!

This place sucks! Service was horrible. It was completely empty when me and my buddies came, so it’s not hard to get a order wrong. And of course they got it wrong. Service is slow. I could say More but not worth my time.

I’m on a 2 week junk food period and I thought I give this place a try. Big mistake. Never again. Burg was sloppy, freshly baked buns? You have to be kidding me with the flat buns. I got the new philly steak burger, what a joke. I can make a better 5 min burger grocery patty and bun myself. Last time I come to a place like this.

My god if I could give no stars I would! Went thru the drive — thru and ordered 1 turkey burger combo with coke zero and a guacamole burger with NO meat with a coke zero. I verified with to drive thru person on the speaker(Juan) that I don’t eat meat and wanted no meat on the guacamole burger. I drive up get my food and get home. First off our drinks are not coke zero and is Dr. pepper. and my guacamole burger had bacon in it and no guacamole and got dr. Pepper too! The guy Juan needs to stop socializing so much with his coworkers and pay attention in doing his job! He made me waste almost $ 8 on crap I didn’t order! Next time I’ll go to the carls jr in Alhambra. Never again this place!

I used to eat a lot of Carl’s Jr. before I started cooking at home. I decided about 8 years ago to cut out french fries as much as I could, so I would order 2 famous stars with lettuce, tomato, and ketchup only instead of one burger and a large french fries. Don’t get me wrong, I still eat fries once in a while, but not as often I as did previously. My two famous stars meal would come out to be $ 3.24! Over time, the price fluctuated, but the service and quality of the famous stars stayed about the same. I would usually drive thru and there would be days or nights when the service was slow, but I would enjoy my burgers nonetheless. I haven’t eaten at Carl’s Jr. as much these days, but when I want something quick and easy, I’ll definitely be back to my old favorite!

just got back home with my order, a cod sandwich, this thing is burnt, like it’s garnished with charcoal, ugh. Their quality is not very good. The Carls over on commonwealth near fremont is better, never had a «charcoal» cod sandwich there.

Stopped her on a late night craving; Western bacon, crosscut fries, and Dr. Pepper. Hit the spot and for sure plenty of sauce and as fresh as fast food can be. Drive thru was friendly and I am surprised of the poor reviews? Maybe I got them at a good night because the food and service was above average on a early morning. If I crave Carl’s again I am stopping here. 24 hour drive thru is a win in my book.

There are certain chain establishments that deserve some Unilocal credit. This is one of them. Because in heaven, God serves Western Bacon Cheeseburgers, Criss-Cut Fries, and Dr. Pepper. I have to give this chain restaurant 5 stars because aside from it being a standout Carl’s Jr from the rest, I’ve also noticed most reviewers are disgruntled customers complaining about very odd incidences(what are the chances your food never gets to you because a trigger happy cop just happened to shoot someone right outside?) This place is clean, the food is flawless and delicious(Carl’s Jr is the only chain restaurant I allow myself to visit, but just once in a great while), the workers get the job done well enough to feed hundreds of hungry college students and locals. But don’t be scared off by the killer cops, just don’t be dumb and charge at them with your lightsabers.
