I just had a simple eyebrow wax, but the service by Elsa was outstanding. She has a calming nature about her and a confidence in her expertise that gave me confidence walking in that she knew what she was doing. She even gave me some great skin care advice and a small facial sample to help my sensitive skin. I highly recommend this place.

Can’t wait to go back and take my sister with me! Elsa knows exactly what she is doing and customized the facial according to my skin type. I bought three treatments off groupon for the price of one which is a steal but im so happy she had it so I’m buying one for my sister as soon as I can. The environment is welcoming, clean, and super calming. Elsa includes a mini me know and shoulder rub while the mask is on making it even more heavenly. I am looking forward to buying a few of the facial cleansers she gave a sample and I fell in love haha thank you so much Elsa see you very soon xo

I had an amazing facial today by Elsa! I had been out of state for several weeks and was totally burnt out, this facial rejuvenated my whole body! The great products along with the gentle touch took the worn out look off of my face and added a real glow! Totally relaxed and glowing! Thank you Elsa I will be a regular

Elsa is amazing. Had my first facial done today and my husband even commented on how good my skin looked. I had two masks and then the oxygen infusion and it was amazing. She is awesome. Truly an experience that I will be doing again.

I completely loved the experience! Elsa was very thorough and her calm voice made it all so easy. I had the groupon as a gift and I was skeptical at first. Having a condition called dermatographism, I am extra cautious on choosing some skin care like this. But then, after having a conversation with Elsa, I already knew she knows what I had and I was confident she will take care of it.
I had the dermafile and fruit enzyme facial. My face was rejuvenated instantly and she was not pushy in selling her products but instead gave me a set of samples. How cool was that!
The place is behind the Black Cow Café and in the Boardwalk of the city of Montrose. I will be there again soon.

Elsa gave the best facial I’ve ever had! The products she used smelled great and felt wonderful. Usually when I’ve had extractions done they are so rough on my face that my eyes water. Elsa said it’s important to make sure the skin is ready to be extracted, and it was painless.
I will be going back to see her, my skin looks and feels fabulous!

Awesome facial/​Dermafile treatments. My face is soooo soft and Elsa was awesome. She also understood the importance of being «serene» as a esthetician. Sometimes you get people that are so hyper and you’re like shhhh I’m here to relax. Elsa definitely wasn’t like that. She was relaxing! Really happy with the services! Check it out!

Elsa is wonderful! She is very knowledgable about all skin types and provides top of the line service. She informs you about good skin care and how to use each product. I have been going by her regularly for the dermafile facial with fruit enzymes. My skin always feels rejuvenated and smooth.

Elsa is great! She really pays attention to your needs and customizes your skin care. My skin always feels soft and it glows after a facial. I have done a few peels with her as well and she is very gentle. She explains the entire process so that I know exactly how to care for my skin after the treatment. The whole experience is very relaxing. I almost always fall asleep during the wonderful hand and shoulder massages. I trust Elsa with my skin and would recommend anyone to her.

This was probably the best and most thorough facial of my life! The Esthetician, Elsa McCarthy, is so gentle and professional as she carefully cares for your skin. I enjoyed how she explained every aspect of treatment and made me feel comfortable. My face underwent the most thorough facial. She spent quality time and products to cleanse, hydrate, exfoliate, moisturizer, and rejuvinate my skin. Every aspect of the facial made my skin feel so nurtured and repaired. The result was so visible to me. I looked rested and glowing. I was so surprised. Wow!
I was made to feel so pampered by her approach in setting a relaxing environment with sound and scent. In addition, a perk is that she takes her time and ensures that you enjoy and benefit from her care. My skin never looked better! I felt as if she gave me a facelift! Wow, what a great visit I had here. Being a dude, I’ve never had a facial before; however, after a few weekends of being out in the sun and wind, my significant other suggested that a tune up would be in order. Enter Silky Skin and Elsa, the owner/​esthetician. I was expecting some cleansing and exfoliating during my visit, but it was much more of an experience than that. The whole process was very relaxing (I think I even fell asleep for a bit), and included a facial and hand massage. There were other treatments she used as well, not quite sure what they were, but they left me feeling and looking great. Bottom line is that Elsa is great at what she does, and makes sure her clients have a great experience. She’s got a great touch — very thorough, but soothing at the same. I never thought I would be a facial guy, but I will definitely be back!
A sidenote: Silky Skin is located in the Reflection salon. I read some of the reviews about the salon after my visit, and it looks like they had an esthetician there a few years back that wasn’t very good. Silky Skin/​Elsa are new there, so not the same business mentioned in those earlier reviews.

I purchased a $ 35 Groupon voucher (regular price @ $ 75) to try the facial at this place. The service was excellent! Elsa made sure I was comfortable, even gave me some strawberries and water. She analyzed my skin, then ushered me to her cozy facial room. She made it a point to explain each step that she was about to do, and what your skin might feel once a product is applied to the face. She was gentle, yet effective with the extractions. Elsa was very pleasant answering a lot of my skin questions. I would definitely come back!!! :)

I went to get a facial here with Elsa. I enjoyed my time there it was really relaxing. I did the acne facial a few times and saw improvements. She really cares about her clients wanting them to feel comfortable, following up and giving advice with skincare. I would definitely go back.
