Our favorite weekend breakfast spot. Hole in the wall type of local place. Way not fancy. Good home cooked food at very decent prices. Staff is always friendly and warm.

I really don’t understand why all the nasty places have decent to good reviews?
This is a huge example.
This is the food I’d expect someone to feed to their pig.
Mushy. Nasty. Flavorless.

I suggest that you pay a visit to the restroom before you order. I always assume the kitchen is cleaned to the same degree as the restroom. This one was grimey from a long period of neglect. Staff was pleasant and the meal inexpensive, but then again you get what you pay for. If they cleaned up the place, I would probably go back. As it was, ya gotta wonder what the health department does to earn their paycheck

Wonderful breakfast that is also dirt-​cheap! My grandparents eat here 1−2x a week and my wife and I always eat here when we are in town. Great service, awesome food, wish we had places like this closer to home! I I don’t understand some of the negative comments on here; you want to overpay and get something more stylish, be my guest and pay $ 14 at IHOP. I grew up on country breakfasts and this was just like eating at home with Grandma! Keep up the great work! Looking forward to our next NC visit and breakfast at Corine’s!

Corine’s is an unassuming little diner on the corner lot of a small strip of other shops. But as soon as we walked in, I was blown away by the smell of home cooking. The seating was confusing since no one greeted us and told us to seat ourselves. Once we sat down, we were greeted by an über friendly waitress who told us she was also a transplant from Texas.
My son ordered a chocolate chip pancake which came out fluffy and chock full melty chips. He loved it. I got some combo that include fried potatoes which were seasoned with paprika. Very well done. The eggs were good. I wish the coffee was better but it was passable. The only reason i didn’t give Corine’s five stars is because everything felt sticky and we waited a really long time for our food and our check. But my son voted that this is our new go to place for breakfast.

Local place know for breakfast. Been coming here for years. Big portions and best grits in town. Alway look forward to eating here.

Good home cooked southern food for excellent prices. Great staff, friendly and helpful and remember you. Inside is decorated with NASCAR memorabilia, and you can tell it has been up for a little while. Great, cozy hometown kind of place!

I’ve given them 3 chances, food is deplorable, breakfast potatoes are swimming in oil, pancakes are big but taste like flour. It’s supposed to be German descent? No. The waitress I’ve gotten 2x is never friendly. Sweet tea isn’t as good as it should be in the south. The décor is out dated and bathrooms are gross. Place seems to have a following, over 80 crowd and truckers.

Great hometown feel everyone is friendly and can’t do enough to make things right. Had the omelet and it was filled with veggies and cheese. They eben have gluten free bread.

Ton of tables, never had to wait. Extensive breakfast menu. Food is always tasty and special orders have never been wrong.
Open early for breakfast in a great location. Easy in and out parking lot. Wait staff is always friendly.

Very slow service and the food was below average
Air conditioner was turned down low and it was very incomfortable

So I am new to Unilocal and I was trying to think of the absolute worst restaurant I could think of. This may or may not be the worst but it was the first place to cross my mind. This place blows. I have no idea why people eat here or how it stays open. Rude staff, bad food & long wait times. Need I say more?

Good breakfast experience. Its kind of hard to mess up breakfast. Small town diner feel. Nice wait staff. Nascar theme. No complaints

Absolutely horrible experience. Corine and her staff have no concept of customer service or how to properly resolve a customer complaint. Extremely poor service. I took my elderly mother there for breakfast and she ordered dry toast. When our food arrived the toast was buttered. We asked for dry and spent the entire meal waiting for something that never came. Also the waitress forgot my biscuit and said she would bring it which she never did. I had to go up to the counter for the biscuit but the toast still wasn’t ready. I asked the server if she could remove my mothers one egg breakfast from the ticket as she was never able to get her toast and was told it would be removed at the register. When I went to pay the owner, Corine, was only willing to deduct the price of the toast which was left uneaten anyway. I asked that she not charge for my mothers portion of the ticket ($ 2.80) since she never was able to get the toast the way she requested it. She was very rude and informed me that I was being silly since after all she did get «buttered» toast and that I was just trying to get something for free. She then added 80 cents to the ticket for the second biscuit I had ordered and told me if I didn’t pay the total she would call the police. I informed Corine her threats do not intimidate me to which she replied by calling the police. I waited for about 10 minutes by the register then decided this wasn’t worth my time to wait any longer and paid the total. I fail to understand how such businesses stay open. I am local to this area and have eaten there before but will never step foot in that establishment again and I will tell anyone who will listen about my experience with Corine. All because of a $ 2.80 meal. If you are comfortable taking what you are given whether it’s what you ordered or not this place may work for you. Personally I would patronize businesses that appreciate and value my business and want me to leave having enjoyed my experience.
Second time I’ve posted this review on this site. It was removed the first time. Makes me wonder if the restaurants influence what reviews are allowed to stay.

Seems as if there was not enough wait staff for the heavy lunch time crowd. We waited 5 minutes to get menus although our food came quick once we placed our order. Breakfast all day. Good value for what you get.
They have a «100%» sanitation rating too!
