Always good food. Great for after kids ball games at park just down the road! Huge menu and good desserts. Haven’t been to bar side.

Overall, just not good. We’ve drove by several times and it looked like it had potential as a «greasy-spoon» type diner from the outside. Unfortunately, wow, as soon as you step inside that musty/moldy old building smell hits you strong and I couldn’t shake it the entire meal. Highly recommend they figure out a way to get rid of that smell — makes it hard to get excited to eat good food. Ordered some wings — sauce was tasty, but the oil they used to fry them was really old and you could taste it in the chicken. Just really not good. My wife’s dish wasn’t a train wreck — the mac and cheese side was quite good — but overall her’s was really a blah meal. Desserts were very good — I guess if you took a dessert to-go, you’d be pretty happy w/it. Prices were surprisingly on the higher side considering the type of venue it is — think typical chain restaurant prices rather than diner prices. Service was adequate. I could see this venue being popular on a Sunday afternoon — it has the vibe of a place that people go to after church service because they’ve been doing it for years. I can’t see any other reason why someone would go. Just not a great place eat. Love finding«hole in the wall» places with amazing food — unfortunately, this is not one of those. I’d actually rate this more like a 1 ½ star venue if Unilocal had the option.

Isy Bells is a fantastic local hotspot in Mooresville. It’s been around for years and is still as delicious as always or better. Their customers are loyal and most go their for lunch daily! They have a big board of daily specials and fresh vegetables that are all sourced from the local farms down the street. Quality fresh food! Their deserts are home made and worth the calories:) Have i mentioned the prices? Really the prices at Isy Bells cannot be beat! Honestly with the portions and the quality i dont know how they keep the prices so low! The employees are friendly and help to give Isy Bells its great southern charm. The service is fast which is why it stays slammed at lunch time. You can be in and out on your lunch break if needed. They are open Sundays now too and my family loves to go on Sundays for brunch. The sweet tea is the best i have ever had! The seafood specials are to die for! They have a fantastic bar area as well and have great local bands playing occasional weekends, you should definitely check it out for a great home cooked meal. Great restaurant. Mooreville you are so lucky to have a great restaurant like Isy Bells Café!

The worst breakfast I’ve ever had in my entire life. I seriously don’t understand how they have 3 Stars. Don’t go here. There are Much better options not too far away.

The place is really outdated. Has that 90’s feel. The chairs are outdated and rather belong at at grandmas house. The inside really needs to be updated. My omelette had slices of american cheese. Felt really cheap. Service was good though. It felt more like a waffle house than a café.

I’ve eaten at this place a few times. Good menu, quaint location. It’s a good place for families or older folk. I recently ordered the fish and shrimp and it was wonderful. It’s hard to find good fish camp style fish anymore and it was fresh and flaky. Great lunch specials and dinner specials throughout the week, too.

Ok this place is kind of a dive but that is part of its charm. They have the sweetest tea in Mooresville and the Isy Burger is sure to give you a heart attack, but the way the cheese crisps up as it drips down the side of the bun and fries on the grill is pure Heaven! Isy’s is a locals hotspot with home cooked meals, and great breakfast specials, served with a side of Southern charm. #gottalovemooresville

From the outside this place looks like a nice spot to have some breakfast. Beautiful plants and flowers in the front of the restaurant intrigued me while passing down the road. I thought this would be a great find but it wasn’t. When I walked in no one greeted me or asked me how many people I was dining with. I took a look around and noticed this place needs to be upgraded. From the look outside I expected at least a fresh look. After we were seated we ordered coffee and orange juice. When the waitress was serving the coffee I couldn’t help but notice how disgusting the coffee pot was. it looked like it wasn’t washed in years. I tasted my juice and tasted some kind of chemical, I tried it again and still the same chemical/soap taste. I sipped two more times to make sure but got the same taste so I returned it for another drink. I ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, grits, toast and side of pancakes. The pancakes were huge! Which is great. But my food didn’t have anything great about it. The service was not good. I’ve had better service at a fast food place! Will not waste my money here. Very disappointed.

I have driven by there many times and finally decided to give them a try. When i got there i felt as this place hasn’t been updated since the 1900 century. They had a 3.99 special and you get grits eggs bacon and toast. I ordered a coffee and i noticed it tasted stale. Also my wifes oj tasted like dish washing soap. My eggs had egg shel in it. I was disgusted with the food o0o let me not forget the bathroom i would rather piss in my pants then use that restroom. Would not recommend to my worest enemy.

Very good breakfast! Enjoyed the Poseidon Benedict with grilled shrimp, crab cake with the yummy poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. The home fries were really good too. My husband got a more traditional breakfast and his fruit cup looked fresh and good. Give them a try; you’ll be glad you did.

My husband and I love this place! The pancakes are HUGE, the coffee is fresh and the home fries are the perfect blend of crispy and soft. The waitstaff are always friendly and smiling and the food is great. You have to check this place out! And it says they are closed on Sunday, but that isn’t true. Hubby and I always come before church :)

Inedible. Country style steak poor quality, no flavor, same as the okra, Mac and cheese, and apples. Spaghetti over cooked sauce tasted like it was just about to spoil. Baked chicken was reheated so the sauce was gelatinous. You get one fill up regardless of what your drinking, your waitress won’t be back! The icing on the cake: French fries were disgusting, who can’t get fries right? But it’s ok, cause you can buy jewelry when you pay for your ‘meal’. Classy right? Save your $$, keep looking.

Great Breakfast — This is a great family restaurant with many erroneous review about discrimination toward law enforcement. First of all, the food is great, broad selection of menu items and very good service. My wife and I have visited many times and the food and service have always been good. This place has gotten a number or reviews that they were police unfriendly. Not the case. to leave for conduct unbecoming and a harasment for Things get picked up the media with a bunch of hafl truths. They did ask a Mooresville Police Offiice to leave because he was harrassing patrons. Not a good situation and it was substaniated that the officer in question is no longer with the Mooresville PD Bottom line, take the other reviesw with a grain of salt because they were written without all of the information. Food is good, service is great. It’s a Mom and Pop Diner and ifyou walk in, you vell like you are ina VFW Strongly recommed from a very broad Brunch Menu

My wife and I decided to go back here for lunch after 2 yrs from our first visit. After one bite we both realized why we haven’t been back here. My wife asked the waitress about the overcooked and dried out chicken leg and thigh and the waitress told her that was chicken from the old batch(day before). If you like canned food and poorly prepared inferior quality food, this is the place for you. This could be a nice restaraunt if ran properly and more than a short order cook preparing food. The menu is way way too large for here and should have 15 or 20 items cooked well instead of 100 items all cooked wrong. will never go here again, will be better off @bojangles!!!

The food was very horrible. My eggs were burnt to a crisp. They got 4⁄6 of our orders wrong. The wait staff was very rude they were not friendly at all. The tea tasted like it came out of a gym sock. The silver wear was disgusting.

We came here for my boss’ birthday lunch; at first, we were all excited due to the extensive menu options. But I don’t understand the service at Isy Bell’s… I was walking to the bathroom and the waitress came past me yelling, «Excuse me, excuse me, get out of the way!» What?! I know that I was in the middle of the hallway, but please. I was walking and there was ample space around me. No need for rudeness. Most of my co-workers and I got the ‘vegetables’ plate; specifically, I got the mashed potatoes, mac & cheese and green beans. We waited and watched every table that came in after us get their food. When we finally got ours, I got heavily disappointed. The appearance: it looked like it’s been sitting out for a while. I still graciously ate it since it was only around $ 5 but I didn’t think I would regret my decision. I wanted to puke the rest of the day at work. The girls that ordered the same side dishes as me asked to change out their sides. It was horrible. I know this is a local favorite(since it was packed when we were there) but goodness. Is it just our experience or is the food like that every time? Next time somebody suggests Isy Bell’s for someone’s birthday lunch; I’m saying«hell to the no!»

Lots to like about this place, but it’s been going downhill a little. My family eats here about once a month. We love the gyro platter, and I love the fish tacos(pretty good, very similar to what I’ve had in San Diego). Their best meals are on the whiteboard. Look there first. Fairly reasonable prices. I don’t like their policy of not re-filling soda. That means I’ll drink water when I’m there. Americanized greek food, southern style, and it’s been there for 40 – 50 years. If you like the tradiional southern fare, and some twists(like the fish tacos), you should come here.

Great«Southern» country comfort food; very reasonable prices; much to pick from on menu – salads, burgers, pasta, etc. Only four stars because the whole place could use a good scrubbing. We couldn’t attach the strap on the baby seat because it was encrusted with«stuff».
