*** Pit stop review(Moreno Valley) *** I made a pit stop to pick up some snacks for the road here and water. It’s mid-day and the parking lot is empty. That’s beautiful! I drove in and left quickly. What did I like??? When the line was long with about 8 – 10 people they quickly dispatched two cashiers to get everyone checked out. That was really awesome because it was a display of good service! I also liked the store patrons. It’s pretty unusual to run into a lot of people smiling and saying«hello» to each other. There were some nice folks in this area :-) Food =(didn’t pick up anything from the deli today) Shopping area = clean and organized Service = friendly Restroom = clean

I did not know baking mix could go bad. I should’ve known right after I bought it then opened it to bake that the cookie mix was rancid. I just didn’t think flour could be what the stench was coming from. And then I baked it anyway. What a waste.

The location is not the best. Pan handlers and homeless hang out outside the store and roam the parking lot. Inside the store is organized and clean. I’m happy with the service.

I avoid going to this store because of the people hanging around the doors and in the parking lot. A lot of gangs appear to frequent the area. And this store is a mere 5 minutes from my home. I will drive across town to the Moreno Beach location before I stop here. Also, the meat counter smells bad when I walk in. The store is cluttered and it is difficult to navigate the aisles when it is crowded.

The Stater Brothers at 25900 Iris Ave Moreno Valley, CA92551 is a better store and well worth the drive. This store is better than the other grocery stores close to it, but it’s not a store where I’d shop again. It’s just too dirty and ghetto-ish.

The cashiers are nice. The battered always bag correctly. Stater bros employees are always friendly. This one gets busy near the evening, so its beat to come in the morning. Good deals. Great return policy. I’m not a fan of ralphs or albertsons anymore.

I like it here if I don’t want to run into people at the Stater Bros off Moreno Beach & Cactus. The cashiers are nice except one bagger that looks like she wants to kill me. HAHA.

What can you say? Decent supermarket in a not so decent area. Everytime I come here I am guaranteed to run into at least 2 homeless people looking for a handout. Not a place I would send a person to by themselves when the sun goes down, but it does the job. Safety in numbers and don’t come here past 9:00pm.

The area makes this place kind of shady. Homeless people, etc. The prices are okay. I agree with the reviewer below watch out for the meat department people. They aren’t very friendly! Sometimes checking out is terrible, because of lines and no workers. The selection of speciality food is kind of lacking. The regular stocked food is pretty good.

Going to make this short and sweet. Avoid this grocery store. Beware of the meat department people especially. Case in point. $ 1.99/lb steak on sale here. My friend and I went there to grab some. Noticing they were out, we went up to the counter. Looking at the wrapping machine behind the counter, we noticed a bunch of the steaks ready to go. There were two people behind the counter(a guy and a girl) and we asked them if they had any more available. The guy stood there hesitant a moment. Then the lady next to him said, «Just tell him the label maker is broken», in Spanish That pissed me off and my friend called them on it, «So you’re saying the label machine is broken huh». The lady got red faced. Magically the label machine suddenly worked. Needless to say this kind of behavior is a great reason to avoid this store entirely. It wasn’t like we were throwing a tantrum, degrading the people behind the counter, or berating and demanding things of them. We asked a simple question and were punked for it. If you’re going to make excuses for being lazy and lie to customers about things, then why even bother working there? The fact she said it in Spanish should say something about the mentality there as well. Deceptive, lazy, ghetto, and definitely not worth giving them business.
