Hampton Inn

Outstanding, friendly service from every employee that we came in contact with! Front desk went above and beyond to answer questions, give suggestions, and even take photos of us when we attempted selfie’s! Fresh fruit, hot cocoa, coffee, and tea available all day and night. Delicious breakfast including little omelettes, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt, pastries, waffles. Rooms were very nice, and clean. Great pool area and outside sitting area. $ 2 Shuttle to SoaringEagle!

Our visit started off with a blood stain on the fitted sheet. Gross… We come back to room after baseball games and room was not cleaned. At breakfast waffle maker was not working properly. I got an overlooked one and my kid got an undercooked one. Mold in tub area. I’ve stayed at other Hampton’s with no issues. Will not ever stay at this one again!

I’ve stayed at multiple Hampton Inn’s over the years. This one is not really different from any of them. My room looked like it was recently remodeled and was nice and clean. The kind beds in Hampton’s always feel bigger than they are. It has a standard business desk and ergo chair in the room in addition to another chair and ottoman. There is a flat screen TV with plenty of channels including HBO but it seems a good portion of them are blocked by dish? No matter for me but some people will take issue. Other issues: 1) There is no refrigerator and microwave in the standard rooms. Unusual since most of the other Hampton’s I’ve stayed at had them. My co-​worker took issue with this since his room also lacked a refrigerator. He also thinks there is a ghost in his room because the drawers seem to open on their own. But I don’t have this issue. 2) The ice machine on the third floor is noisy and I’m not entirely sure it works. Since it seemed to be out of ice last night. So for these sins I will give it 3 stars instead of 4. Still not a bad place to stay.

My husband and I were in Mt. Pleasant for a wedding and stayed at this Hampton Inn.
We arrived at exactly 3:00 and when we checked in at the front desk were unfortunately told that our room wasn’t ready yet. We waited for about 15 minutes and when I went to ask on the status the gentleman mentioned that it still wasn’t ready. I told him we had a wedding to go to at 4:00 and still needed to get ready. He apologized for the wait and said they would upgrade us to a room that was alrady available. I’m not sure why we were not offered this in the beginning, but was appreciative.
The upgrade included a room on the third floor with a jacuzzi. Unfortunately my husband had had back surgery a few weeks prior, so we weren’t able to use it, but it a nice addition to a regular hotel room.
The hotel was clean and the bed was really comfortable. Shower pressure and water temp was good. Although we did not use it, the hotel offers a pool and hot tub.
Breakfast was available, but I’m not a big fan of hotel breakfasts so we just settled for juice and coffee.
Overall, the hotel was very nice. The staff were accomodating. I would stay here again if I were visiting the Mt. Pleasant area!

I was pleasantly surprised with the Hampton Inn in mount pleasant. Our reservation was literally last minute — transferred from soaring eagle resort. We were in town one night for business but I could not possibly stay at the other resort. This hotel has been renovated within the past 5 years & was quite comfortable. The staff at the front desk was very polite & nice. My only complaint is that the rooms are really smoky for non-​smoking rooms. I can not review the pool nor the gym, however, arriving late last night I found it odd that the hallways on both floors were sweltering and humid. Not a big deal but just not sure what that would be due to.

I stay at a bunch of these for work and this is not that impressive.
My room has definitely been smoked in which always annoys me. On top of that it smells musty anyway.
Breakfast had no fresh cut fruit like most of these others I stay at. Everything else was standard.
Work out room AC unit was broke and when I got in there they were spraying something that stunk and obviously it was very hot.
The staff was very helpful when I needed dinner recommendations, even though the place they recommend wasn’t that great. And they were generous in sending a letter for me.
Also my shower head was kind of wonky a long with a couple other features that were old and worn out.

Wow! What a nice surprise, this hotel is very nice for a Hampton. The rooms, lobby and hallways have been newly renovated. There is a 24 hr IHOP right next door and they do offer complimentary breakfast.

I was very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. My husband and I came in to town from Chicago for my graduation ceremony. In the past I’ve typically stayed at the F airfield Inn, but this hotel had a better rate. I was happy we chose this hotel.
I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel and rooms. I was even more impressed by the staff. They went out of their way to add personal touches to your stay and were nothing but friendly and helpful.
The location is a bit further from campus compared to some of the other hotels, but it was closer to the «downtown» area which was a nice tradeoff.
If I return to Mount Pleasant, I have no hesitations saying I would stay at this hotel again.

We needed to stay here overnight for a friend’s wedding and we were pleasantly surprised how nice this hotel is! We would definitely stay again.
I did think that it was a bit pricey for a one night stay, but we booked it a little late with only 3 or 4 days notice, maybe that was why it was a little high?
However, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Especially the young lady at the front desk, she was super sweet and very polite.
We wanted to check in a little early because we came from out of town and needed to change and drop our stuff off before the wedding and they got us in about an hour and a half early before check-​in and it was perfect timing! We desperately needed that early check-​in and they were great!
The hotel was very nicely decorated, from lobby to our room and more importantly, very clean!!!
The bed, pillows, and room was very comfortable. The elevator was working (Yay!) and the only minor negative (nonissue) was our ice machine not working on our floor (not a huge deal).
We didn’t try out the continental breakfast nor the pool area so I cannot comment to that.
Overall, I would definitely stay here again and we had a very pleasant stay!
Plus: Applebee’s and gas station very close by!
