My favorite steak house in my pleasant. They are very reasonably priced and the food is excellent. The wait staff is friendly and if you’re unhappy with anything they make it right. I’ve also been to Outback on 17. The food is comparable but outback charges extra for salads rather than including with the meal so it’s easier to run up a much bigger bill for a comparable meal.

Food tasted good, when it was finely right. Ordered and didn’t get any of the right sides. Asked for potato without sour cream, here it comes loaded! Server not so happy or very attentive at all. Super unhappy probably want come back!

Best fried green tomatoes I’ve had. My husband had never tried them and he enjoyed them very much. We came here to sit at the bar and have a few drinks. Our bartender was amazing, very friendly and fast. Made a delicious ginger mule!!!

When I used to live in the Palmetto state, I wasn’t so much of a «foodie,“and certainly wasn’t able to do it «on foot.» I used to jump up and down for going to a LongHorn Steakhouse and was excited to have a feast, each and every time. Well, patronizing local places was definitely an acquired hobby ever since I moved to Chicago. I’ve noticed that« Unilocaling» wouldn’t be so helpful once leaving downtown Charleston. We were meeting our in-laws for lunch before my brother-in-law’s wedding. Everyone who had an opinion seemed to agree that LongHorn Steakhouse was a safe choice, even for picky eaters. Three(3) of us ordered the sirloin steak salad. Although this option typically comes with the blue cheese dressing, one may ask for a different substitution if the blue cheese dressing makes you feel«blue» in the mood. I personally enjoyed the salad because of the optimal greens/steak ratio. Otherwise, I would think that steak was high on sodium to my liking. Mama J. had to «borrow» some of mother-in-law’s salad mix to dilute the salinity of the shrimp & lobster chowder. In many commercial places, almost every dish seems to be blasting on salt. I think I will spare some of it on looking for paper cuts instead adding an excessive amount to my food. Hubby’s grilled shrimp kebabs were slightly normal in terms of the sodium content. I might be critical on the tastes of food that we ordered, but the service was very friendly. The young lady was very patient with my indecisive parents. I don’t know if I would visit a LongHorn Steakhouse location again. I’m a Chicagoan who tries her best to support local businesses. Unless I’m desperate, you won’t see me at a chain restaurant much.

Went Sat 6 June with my father-in-law. Waitress started by telling us they were low on bread but she would try to get us some – it was 6:00 on sat. The prime rib was the toughest I’ve ever tried to eat. The place smells like a dirty dish towel. I’ll never go back.

Service was great. My wife and I ate at the bar with Brandi. Steaks(with extra«love») were very tender and flavorful. Steve(manager) visited often with a lighthearted character, making you feel welcomed at the restaurant.

Went for lunch today. Had not been here for a long time. Usually we shun chains, but I’ve always had a soft spot for Longhorn, having lived in their hometown of Atlanta and eaten at their original restaurant on Peachtree St. Upon entering the MtP location today I immediately said to my wife«What’s that smell?» «I dunno» «It smells like somebody threw up their food. .. about two weeks ago!» We were ready to just turn around and leave, but then I remembered that Longhorn always smells like that chicken salad you left in your fridge too long. We stayed anyway. I’m glad we did. They currently have a special — two dinners for $ 29.99. We chose the wild west shrimp for our starter. A huge plate of fried shrimp arrived shortly thereafter. It was a meal unto itself. It was delicious. Then, we had our choice of garden salad or Caesar. I have always liked Longhorn’s Caesar salad. The dressing is addictive. Finally, we each had a generous portion of grilled salmon with a choice of side. We could have substituted a dessert for the appetizer. And we had six other choices for our entrée. I know it’s a steakhouse and we love Flo’s Filet, but we already had our red meat quota for the week and their grilled salmon is consistently good. Service was excellent. There was more than enough food that was enjoyable to eat. The price was right. What more can you ask for? How about a better smell? If the restaurant smell had stimulated our appetites instead of almost making us run for our car, I would give it 5 stars instead of 4.

Place was hopping, but that did not hinder our server. Ashleigh W. was our gal, her word for the day was«sweetie». she must have called me that a dozen times. Probably accounted for the larger tip. :) Our daughter knew one of the male hosts from high school and he made some trips to the table to check on us. Dinner was well put together, the cut of steak I ordered was likely the reason it was a bit tough, but the salad and steamed veggies were done just right, not over cooked, but crisp, flavorful and likely holding onto all the phytonutrients. So nutshell: Sides were better than the steak and that is a bit of a shame for a steakhouse. While we don’t frequent chain steakhouses often, we did have a very good experience in this Longhorns. SaleebScore: Food 8⁄10; Service 9.5÷10; Value 7⁄10; Overall: 8⁄10 for this level of culinary experience.

Get the ribs. Get them. Do it. Holy hell, you won’t regret it. This place was fantastic. I was pretty skeptical due to the 3 star review it currently holds. I found myself in here, however, and I’ll definitely be back. My food was delicious, and it came out within 10 minutes(which is crazy fast!). Our waitress, Ashley, was also fantastic. She topped off the whole experience with 5 star service. My only recommendations are to try and get a booth away from the kitchen, unless you feel like hearing all of the back-of-house gossip(I do not), and call to see if Abe is in the kitchen. He’s by far the best chef and I’d come back just for him.

Good food. Steaks cooked properly. All good hot. Good service. I had the filet and it was delicious. For a chain Longhorn seems to be pretty consistent with their food quality and service.

Food was superb!!! Husband got a medium well ribeye, he had nothing but compliments. I had the lemon tilapia and shrimp and geez it was gooooood! The waitress was so fast and friendly, I took a last sip of my drink and she was placing the next one on the table. The manager came by to make sure we were happy, twice. Would have been a 5 star hands down except the place had an off smell when we first walked in, reminded me of cleaned carpet that didn’t dry all the way. The food 5 stars! The service 5 stars! :)

Steaks are not bad for the price and I love the table side steak sauce. Deserts are good which is the first thing I look at. 13 different types of steaks to choose from. No outside seating. Happy hour also with call ahead seating

Wow, I can’t believe this has an average of 2 stars. I really enjoy this place. They have always cooked my steak the way I’ve asked. The service is always friendly and quick to respond especially considering their high volume. And I love ordering their 23 ounce beers because they freeze the glasses and it just makes the beer taste and look that much better! Zero complaints.

I’m in Charleston for a 3 day vacation with my parents and my parents had a gift card to any Darden restaurant and my mom had be craving steak for about a week now, so we went in on our way to the beach. The Food: my mom ordered a steak and shrimp/lobster plate and it was good. The steak was well done and juicy but lacked a little flavor as she kept adding salt. The lobster filled shrimp was delicious. My dad ordered a sirloin sandwich and a shrimp and lobster chowder and he said both were great. I ordered a chicken and avocado sandwich with fries and I was pleased. The Service: our host seated us promptly but I was displeased by how«rough» he looked compared to the rest of the staff. He had on very baggy jeans and a really big polo, and presentation is big on my list. Our waitress was a doll and there was a constant drink flow but our food took forever to come out, which is why I gave this place a 3. Would I return? If I had another gift card. For that location only.

Date night was a disappointment. We both ordered stakes. Hers was a filet which was OUTSTANDING. I ordered the ribeye, but not sure what came out. It was tough as shoe leather, Thin flat stake, over cooked(ordered MedRare). If my wife didn’t like me complaining to the cook, I definately would have.

Not in a mood for creative thinking about dinner, all I wanted was a steak. A nice simple slice of dead cow with a beer. Longhorn was in my radar so I popped in for my dinner. The hostess was nice and led me to a booth. Parents with their toddler behind me left shortly after I arrived, which was nice. My waitress — Shannon — was pleasant and didn’t stop by too often. The steak arrived shortly after order. It was too thin and had little«meat» taste. I thought it was actually rather stringy. I wouldn’t recommend. But the mashed potatoes were quite good.

This is a decent steakhouse. They do tend to «fancy-up» their steaks instead of letting the meat stand on its own. The main reason I go here is for the mashed potatoes. I’m not kidding. These things are THEBEST you can find in a restaurant.
